He loves too much; it's always been like this.

He loves but he breaks but then he forgives so easily, and it repeats- he puts the pieces back together just to smash them down again.

His heart still aches from all of the pain inflicted on it over the years. Countless breaks and repairs, minor cracks, full on stabs even. His heart is covered in many scars, many still-healing wounds. The more it breaks, the more pieces he loses, and yet he still goes on.

He falls in love again, and once more his fragile heart is smashed to pieces. It's broken again, and he's left alone to fix it and become happy again.

He picks up the shattered pieces and saves what he can, but no matter how much he tries to save, it spills like sand through his fingers.

The one responsible for this most recent heartbreak doesn't seem as sorry as she claims to be. After all, if she didn't mean it, why did she even cheat on him in the first place?

Yet that doesn't matter, as he still forgives her even as she stands there mostly undressed as the other boy dresses himself and leaves, and she kisses him and he's okay with it all.

His heart is too big. He loves too much, he breaks, he forgives only to be broken once again.

She breaks up with him only two days later.

"You need to pull yourself together, Jimin," she tells him with a sigh as he stands there before her and cries his eyes out. "Not every relationship is going to work out. Not everyone is going to like you. Especially when you're acting like this. You fall in love so easily. It's kind of... sad."

She's gone after that, and he never sees her again, not even on the street one day. Perhaps she moved away. Perhaps something happened to her. He doesn't know.

Jimin loves too much. He falls in love too easily, too quickly, with the wrong people.

His heart has yet another wound.

He'll never learn.
