As Aniket left the place Nitya rang the doorbell. Vivek opened the door, he was carrying a suitcase beside him.

"Nitya beta tum yahan?" He was surprised to see her there.

"Haan, main aa gayi wapas" she said with a wide smile and hugged him.

"Maa, chachi" she shouted.

"Beta ghar mein koi nahi hai, sab England mein hain" Vivek informed them.

"Kya? Sab england mein lekin..."

Before she could say something her phone rang, it was an unknown number.

"Hello"

"Main inspector Pandey baat kar raha hun, aap Nitya Malhotra baat kar rahin hain?"

"Jee haan, par aapne phone kyun kiya?" She asked worriedly.

"Aniket Malhotra aapke pati hain?"

"Haan"

"Aapke pati ka ye red signal ke paas accident ho gaya hai, hum unhe City hospital le ja rahe hain" he informed her.

The phone fell off her hands, she was in tears. Vivek was worried seeing her condition.

"Kya hua beta tum itna kaamp kyun rahi ho?" Vivek asked.

"Dad, Aniket ka accident ho gaya hai, mujhe jana hoga, please gaadi nikaliye" she said and rushed outside the Nivi mansion. Vivek followed her outside. They sat in the car and drove to the red signal. She saw that the ambulance was there.

Vivek came to the ambulance, showed his card and said " Aap inhe Lifeline hospital lekar chaliye, main wahan ka dean hun"

He came to Nitya and was to inform her something but stopped when heard her saying "Main isi ambulance mein inke sath jaungi, ye mere pati hain"

Vivek was shocked hearing that coming from her mouth, he closed his eyes for a moment. He controlled his emotions for that moment.

The ambulance rushed to the hospital.

LIFELINE HOSPITAL

Aniket was in the operation theater, he was badly injured. Nitya was inside the OT, her hands trembled as it was her husband whom she loved dearly. Meanwhile she saw her father along with a senior doctor entering inside.

"Nitya, tumhein yahan nahi hona chahiye" he said.

"Lekin Dad...Aniket" she saw him

"Main tumhare jazbaat samajh sakta hun Nitya lekin as a senior doctor main tumhein is surgery mein assist karne ki permission nahi de sakta, jao Dr. Kesvani is case ko handle karenge" he said. Nitya had almost forgotten that she hadn't informed her father about her relationship with Aniket.

"Dad, Ani..." she came to tears with that.

"Dr. Kesvani ko tum achhi tarah janti ho Nitya, vo bahot bade surgeon hain, Aniket ko kuch nahi hone denge, maine Aarav aur Malhotra family ko inform kar diya hai, tum jao, tumhein unke paas hona chahiye" Vivek said. Nitya nodded. She went outside, Vivek too came out after knowing the details from Dr. Kesvani.

Nitya came outside and started removing the surgical suit. She then came to the corridor. She saw Aarav Manvi and the rest of the family approaching them. Aarav and Manvi weren't able to inform the family anything as this news reached them before that.

"Vivek ji, kaisa hai mera Ani?" Pooja asked, she was absolutely broken. She cried to tears.

Nitya wasn't in her senses, Nandini came up to her and asked "Bolo na Nitya, kaisa hai Ani? Usay kuch zyada hua toh nahi?"

Nitya was quiet and she couldn't say anything. Manvi and Aarav approached her, she saw Aarav and hugged him. Aarav tried to console her but she cried more and within tears she said "Aarav bhaiya, kahiye na apne nalayak bhai se mujhe aur tang na kare, kahiye na usay ki jaldi thik ho jaye, vo aapki baat sunega"

"Nitya sambhal khudko" Manvi said.

Karan and Anoop were confused to see her in such a devastated state but the questions in their mind were put to rest as it was their son who was more important for now.

"Maa, choti maa sambhaliye khudko" Manvi said and took them aside, she made them sit on the benches in the corridor.

"Nitya, tumhare Ani ko kuch nahi hoga, dekhna tum" Aarav said, he too came to tears but immediately wiped them. Manvi saw all this, how well he was handling her sister in this miserable condition. She wasn't crying on her shoulders but it was him who was handling her.

Here Aarav noticed that Manvi was taking care of his entire family single handedly. Couple of hours pass by and Aniket was still in the OT.

"Dada mere pyare Dada, ek bhabhi le aao na" Aarav remembered Aniket's words. Manvi came to him and gave him a cup of tea. He took it, Manvi settled beside him.

"Maine choti maa aur maa ko ghar bhej dia hai kuch der ke liye, shaam mein chote papa le aaenge unhein, Papa abhi yahin hain" she informed him.

"Hmm, achha kiya" Aarav nodded and sighed.

Aarav looked in a direction and Manvi looked at where he was looking. She saw that he was looking at Nitya who was crying continuously.

"Mujhse Nitya ki ye halat dekhi nahi jaa rahi Manvi, I hope Aniket ko zyada kuch na hua ho aur vo jald hi thik ho jaye" he said.

"Nitya is waqt kamzor hai, lekin main apni behen ko janti hun, vo apne aapko bahot achhe se sambhal legi, tum fikar mat karo, mujhe toh is waqt chinta maa aur choti maa ki zyada ho rahi hai" she said.

Just then the doctors came outside. The family members surrounded him.

"Doctor, kaisa hai Ani ab?" asked Aarav.

"Ghabrane wali koi baat nahi hai Aniket ke sar par thodi si chot aai hai, otherwise he is absolutely fine" he said and with this wide smile came everyone's face.

Nitya sighed and asked "Kya main mil sakti hun?"

"Nitya beta, tum toh ek doctor ho jaanti ho, abhi is waqt tumhare pati ko aaram ki zarurat hai, tum yahin wait karo" said Dr. Kesvani leaving the place, Anoop and Karan were shocked hearing the word pati from his mouth. Vivek also noticed their shocked expressions.

"Pati?" both Anoop and Karan asked in unison

Vivek said "Nitya, mere cabin mein aao"

Nitya followed him to his room. Vivek stood there with his hands folded and here in the corridor both the men looked confused.

"Ye sab kya hai Aarav?"

"Vo Papa..."

"Dekho Aarav beta hum sab sach janna chahte hain, kya hai ye sab?" asked Karan suspiciously.

Vivek and Nitya were in a conversation in his room and he asked the same question. Nitya narrated everything to him.

Vivek held his head and said "Nitya tum logon ne ye kya kar liya? Itna bada faisla vo bhi humein bina bataye?"

"Dad hum dar gaye thay, sach batate toh aap log aur naraz ho jaate aur Aniket ki family toh ab tak naraz hai mujhse" Nitya replied.

"Par beta ek baar, mujhe toh kam se kam kehni ki koshish ki hoti, ab bahar jaakar kaise handle karogi Malhotras ko? Kuch socha bhi hai?" he asked.

"Ye sab hum dono ka milkar faisla tha, mujhe hi sab thik karna hoga" Nitya replied with tears.

Vivek got a message and he held his head.

"Kya hua Dad?" Nitya asked

"Meri ek bahot important conference hai England mein, Sadhna Rishabh, Aman aur Prerna bhi wahin hain, ittefak se Rishabhi ka wahan kaam nikal aaya aur mujhe bhi wahin jana tha isliye ek family outing plan kar li, mujhe kya pata tha ki ye sab" he said.

"Nahi Papa aap please jaiye, aapka kaam important hai, aur please baki family ko is accident ke baare mein aur mere aur mere aur Ani ke baare mein mat bataiyega" she requested.

"Lekin bete"

"Please Dad apni trip mat cancel keejiye" Nitya said wiping her tears.

"Are you sure tum sab sambhal logi?"

Nitya nodded positively.

While here in corridor both the men were still looking for answer which they hadn't received from Manvi and Aarav

"Aarav, Manvi main achhi tarah jaanta hun ki tum dono sab kuch jaante ho, Aniket kuch bhi kare lekin tumhein zaroor batata hai, kya hai ye sab" asked Karan

Manvi said "Papa, Chote Papa aap dono shaant ho jaiye please, is waqt dono maaon ko Aniket ki salamati ki khabar dena zyada zaroori hai"

Aarav said "Main dono ko inform karta hun, chote papa aap please dono ko le aaiye, jab tak Ani ko dekh nahin lengi unhein chain nahi aayega"

The men nodded and understanding the seriousness of the situation they didn't question further. Aarav called home to inform the women.

"Haan Duggu, Ani kaisa hai?" asked Nandini as she picked up.

"Choti maa, Ani bilkul thik hai, doctors ne kaha hai zyada gehri chot nahi hai, abhi visiting hours mein Chote papa aap dono ko lene aa jayenge tab aap Ani ko dekh leejiyega" he said and the women sighed, he disconnected the call.

"Bhagwan ka lakh lakh shukar hai mere Ani ko kuch nahi hua" Pooja said and joined her hands.

"Bhabhi main toh kehti hun, hospital jaate hi na Ani ki nazar utaar lenge, zaroor kisi ki buri nazar lagi hai mere Ani ko" Nandini said within tears.

"Rona band karo Nandini, Duggu ne kaha na Ani thik hai" Pooja said and wiped her tears.

Here in the hospital Aarav and Manvi had informed Karan and Anoop how Aniket and Nitya got married.

"Ye dono ne thik nahi kiya Aarav, Pooja aur Nandini ko pata chalega toh aur bhi bada bawal khada ho jayega" Anoop said.

"Dada bilkul thik keh rahe hain Aarav, pata nahi tumhari dono maaon ne ab tak Nitya ko maaf bhi kiya hoga ya nahi"

After sometime Karan brought the women to the hospital and they rushed inside his room. They surrounded Aniket, Pooja started to cry when she saw him in that condition. Bandages tied to his head and hand.

"Hey bhagwan mera Ani" said Pooja crying, she sat on the stool next to him.

"Bhabhi ye abhi tak behosh kyun hai?" Nandini asked.

"Ani ne mujhe ab tak maa kehkar bhi nahi pukara hai '' Pooja said.

"Haan, aur mujhe choti maa" Nandini said.

Anoop and Karan looked at each other and they wanted to lighten the situation.

"Aur mujhe Papa" said Anoop imitating them

"Aur mujhe chote Papa" Karan followed them.

Aarav and Manvi understood it and Aarav said "Mujhe Dada"

"Aur mujhe Bhabhi" Manvi said.

Pooja and Nandini understood that all of them were teasing them and Nandini lightly hits Aarav.

"Aap log hamara mazak uda rahe hain" complained Pooja.

"Arey toh aap log bhi serial ki bahuon ki tarah rona band keejiye na maa, choti maa" said Aarav.

"Hey bhagwan in logon ka mazak kabhi khatam hi nahi hota, arey mera beta yahan behosh pada hai aur aap hamara mazak uda raha hai"complained Nandini.

"Achha baba, nahin udaenge mazak aap dono ka lekin aapka beta thik thak hai ab toh rona band karo" said Karan.

Nandini and Pooja looked at each other and wiped their tears.

"Ye log sahi keh rahe hain haina Nandini" asked Pooja, Nandini nodded to her.

Dr. Kesvani came over there, the Doctor said "Arey aap log please bheed ikatthi mat keejiye, Aniket khatre se bahar hai thodi der mein usay hosh aa jayega aap log chinta mat keejiye"

"Jee hum bahar hi hain koi bhi problem ho toh bata deejiyega" said Karan. They left the room, Dr. Kesvani examined Aniket again and then went to his room.

"Raat mein main bhi yahan rukungi" said Pooja

"Nahi Raat mein main aur Manvi yahan ruk jaate hain, aap charon chale jaiye" said Aarav.

"Nahi nahi tum Manvi aur aap dono jaiye Main aur Karan ruk jaate hain" said Anoop.

"Aap logo mein se kisi ko rukne ki zarurat nahi hai main yahan hun, Aniket ke paas" said Nitya as she heard their conversation.

"Tum, bhala kyun?" Asked Nandini.

"Ek doctor aur ek patni ki haisiyat se" Nitya replied.

"Patni?" a shocked Pooja asked.

"Jee haan Patni" Nitya told them everything.

"Ye sab, meri toh kuch samajh nahi aa raha , aise kaise Ani bina puche tumse shadi"said Nandini holding her head.

"Dekhiye main janti hun ye baat jaankar aap log bahot shocked honge, shayad bahot naraz bhi honge mujhse lekin sach yahi hai, main aapki bahu hun, aapke bete ki patni, aur is waqt Aniket ka khayal mujhse behtar koi nahi rakh sakta, kyunki main ek doctor bhi hun" Nitya said and joined her hands.

"Dekhiye aap log please mujhe yahan Ani ke paas rehne deejiye, is waqt uski tabiyat thik nahi, mere khilaf jo bhi shikayat hai aapko vo kuch der ke liye bhool jaiye" she requested.

"Haan maa, Nitya thik keh rahi hai, Nitya se badhkar Ani ka khayal koi thik se nahi rakh sakta, Nitya main aur Manvi bhi yahin rukenge tumhare sath" Aarav said.

Nitya nodded to agree.

"Pooja mere khyal mein bachhe thik keh rahe hain, is waqt hamein Ani ki fikar karni chahiye,narazgi toh kabhi bhi zaahir ki jaa sakti hai" Anoop explained them.

Nandini and Pooja agreed and they left the place. The whole night Aniket was in observation, Nitya had been taking proper care of him.

Early in the morning, Aniket opened his eyes. The rest of the family was there, Nitya called them into the room as soon as he got consciousness. Their faces bloomed with happiness seeing him back to consciousness.

"Ani tu thik toh hai na?" A concerned Pooja asked.

"Haan Ani kuch bol na" Nandini said.

Aniket hadn't spoked in a while since he got up.

"Ye kuch bolta kyun nahi ji, kahin iski aawaz toh nahi chali gai" Pooja said looking at him.

"Bas karo meri overdramatic Maa" Aniket said with a smile and Pooja hits him lightly.

"Choti Maa" he said looking at Nandini.

"Papa, chote papa, Dada" he said looking at everyone.

"Tu kya sabke naam yaad kar raha hai?" Aarav commented to which everyone laughed.

"Tumhein pata nahi hai Aniket sab kitna pareshan hue hain tumhare liye" Manvi said.

Aniket smiled and said " Aap bhi yahan aai mujhe bahot achha laga"

"Lo main kaise nahi aati, tumhara accident hua ho aur main na aaun" Manvi said with a smiling face.

"Chal ab jaldi se thik hokar ghar aaja, sab teri raay dekh rahe hain" Karan said.

"Aap log jaiye, Aniket ko ab hosh aa chuka hai, 1-2 din mein vo bilkul thik hokar ghar aa jaega" Dr. Kesvani who was there to check on Aniket said entering the room. Everyone agreed and left the room except for Nitya.

Dr. Kesvani left the room after examining him. He looked at Nitya and said " He is absolutely fine, aaj raat aur observation mein rakhte hain"

"Yes doctor" Nitya replied. As the doctor left Nitya glared at Aniket and he looked at her suspiciously.

"Pata hai kitni dar gai thi main, jaan nikaal di thi tumne meri" she said, and picked the blood pressure instrument to check his blood pressure.

Aarav and Manvi too came inside, the other members had left the place.

"Ro ro ke dark circles ho gaye hain mere aankhon ke neechey" she complained.

Aniket peered at her while she said this.

"Tum ruko, main khana bhejti hun tumhare liye" she said and left the place

"Baap re ye doctor toh kuch zyada hi commanding hai" he said and Aarav heard it and smiled.

"Ab bhai yahi doctor hai tere naseeb mein toh ham kya karein" Aarav said

Nitya returned with a nurse who had got fruits for him. Nitya started to cut the fruits and then served them to him.

"Chalo muh kholo" she said

"Main kha lunga, aap rehne deejiye" he replied.

"Chupchap muh kholte ho ya?" Nitya warned him by showing a knife to him.

"Khol le muh beta, warna khopdi khul jaegi" Aarav commented.

"Aise kaise, kuch bhi haan Dada, ye doctor hai don thodi na hai" Aniket said.

"Vo bhi banna aata hai mujhe banu?" Nitya asked and he nodded in a no.

"Very good, toh khao, aur pura khatam kar lena tab tak main Dr Kesvani se tumhara case discuss karke aati hun" she warned him and was about to leave the room when she heard something and stopped.

"Ye ladki kaun hai?" Aniket asked.

"Abey ooo mazak wazak karna band kar warna bachi hui haddiyan bhi toot jaengi" Aarav said.

"Dada main kyun mazak karne laga sach mein bataiye na ye ladki, mera matlab hai ye doctor aisi kyun hai, itna hukum kyun chala rahi hai mujhpe" he asked.

"Kya?Tu Isay nahin jaanta? Pitna hai Aniket?" Aarav asked.

Nitya turned when she heard all this and she peered at him angrily.

"Bhaiya aap isay keh deejiye seedhi tarah reh le warna main iska sar aankh naak kaan muh, sab phod dungi" she warned him.

"Arey ajeeb doctor ho tum, dimag ke ilaaj ki zarurat hai kya? Patient se aise baat karte hain kya?" He asked.

"Aarav bhaiya main isay nahin chodungi"Nitya said angrily.

"Ek minute...ek minute" Aarav came in between.

"Ani tu sach mein isay nahin jaanta?" Aarav asked.

"Arey baba nahin jaanta, kaun hai ye maine toh isay dekha bhi nahin kabhi, Manvi ji aapki friend hai kya?" He asked looking at Manvi.

"Manvi ji?" both Aarav and Manvi were shocked and they said in unison.

"Dekha Manvi tak ka naam yaad hai isay fir mera kaise nahin" Nitya commented angrily.

"Arey kamal karti hain aap, ye Manvi ji, inhone mere dada ke liye shirts select ki, aur us din Dada ki madad ki vo TK industries" he replied.

" Lekin vo toh kitni purani baat hai Ani, tujhe last kya yaad hai?" Aarav asked.

"Yahi ki gharwale aapke liye ladki dekhne jaane wale thay, main project ke liye IIT gaya hua tha jab laut raha tha shayad tabhi mera accident hua" Aniket replied.

Three of them were confused and they called Doctor Kesvani. Dr. Kesvani examined Aniket and they again took his x-ray.

Dr. Kesvani called Nitya and Aarav to his cabin.

"Ye Aniket aisi ajeeb baatein kyun kar raha hai Doctor?" Aarav asked.

"Maine Aniket ka dobara examination kiya hai, uske x ray mein hamein ek baat pata chali hai ki chot lagne ki wajah se uske dimag ke ek hisse mein swelling ho gai hai, jiske wajah se vo apne ateet ki pichle ek dedh saal ki baatein bhool chuka hai" the doctor informed him and Nitya was in tears.

"Lekin Ani ko sab yaad hain, vo meri patni Manvi ko pehchanta hai par sirf Nitya ko bhool chuka hai jis se vo itna pyaar karta tha" said Aarav.

"Kabhi kabhi aisa hota hai Mr. Aarav, Nitya tum ek doctor ho achhi tarah se jaanti ho ki aisa ho sakta hai ki Aniket ke dimag se tumhare naam ka chapter delete ho gaya ho? Haina?"Doctor said and Nitya nodded.

"Aur haan aap log ek vishesh baat ka dhyan rakhiye, koi bhi usay zor zabardasti se kuch yaad dilane ki koshish nahin karega, jaise jaise uske dimag ki soojan kam hogi usay yaad aane lagega" the doctor said.

"Don't worry doctor, we'll take care" said Aarav. Both got up and left the room. Manvi came oytside, Aarav informed her everything. Nitya hugged her and cried.

"Sab kuch yaad hai usay, bas mujhe hi bhool gaya vo" said Nitya within tears.

Vivek called Nitya from the airport, she didn't have the courage to speak so she gave the phone to Manvi.

"Hello, haan bade Papa" Manvi said.

"Beta, Nitya kahan hai" he asked.

"Vo Bade Papa, Nitya andar Aniket ke paas hai " Manvi lied

"Ab Aniket kaisa hai?" He asked.

"Bade Papa vo..."before Manvi could say anything further Nitya took phone from her hand.

"Dad, Ani bilkul thik hai he is fine now" Nitya said

"Okay beta, uska dhyan rakhna aur apna bhi"

"Ji Dad" Nitya said and disconnected the call.

A couple of days later Aniket was back to home. Nitya hadn't spoken to Aniket in all this while, she had only visited him as a doctor. While Aarav had informed everyone everything about Smiley's situation.

Malhotra Niwas

"Mera beta gahr wapas aa gaya" Pooja exclaimed.

"Haan Maa aa gaya aapka shahjahan apne laal kile mein" Aarav commented.

"Chup kar tu bada bhai hai iska, satana band kar isay" said Pooja.

Nandini took a handful of red chilies and moved them round and round around him and burnt them in a burning hawan pot.

"Kya choti maa, ye sab "

"Chup kar" Nandini scolded him.

Nitya too came with them to home. Aniket was confused but he didn't question her.

The family members welcomed him warmly. Pooja had cooked everything of his favorite.

"Tu upar apne kamre mein jaa main wahin tera khana bhijwati hun" said Pooja and they took him to his room. When Aniket was moving to his room he looked behind and saw Nitya also approaching. He pulled Nandini aside.

"Choti maa doctor yahan kya kar rhai hai? Ye toh hospital mein thi na" He asked.

Aarav had heard this and he said " Tujhe is se kya, kuch kar rahi hai kya vo tujhe?"

"Nahi par ye yahan kyun aai hai, aapko pata hai kitni darawni lagti hai, jab dekho ghoomti rehti hai mujhe, dar lagta hai mujhe us se" Aniket explained.

"Arey abhi tu puri tarah se thik nahi hua na isliye vo yaha hai" Aarav explained.

"Arey par yahan kyun? Uska apna koi ghar nahin hai kya? Aapne kahaa Manvi ji bhagat uncle ki bhateeji hain, isliye yahan hamare sath rehne aai hain kuch time ke liye, par ye ladki" he peered at her.

"Tu saari baatein abhi karega kya, khana laa rahi hai Manvi, chupchap kha le " Aarav said and he settled in his bedroom.

In the evening Aniket was watching everyone from upstairs. He was happy seeing Manvi and Aarav, he always wanted this to happen. He could notice their closeness. He came downstairs and again saw Nitya staring at him with a smile.

He came near Aarav and pulled him aside.

"Dada ye doctor gai nahi abtak yahan se?" He asked

"Kya Aniket, tujhe kya problem hai bichari se kyun uske pichey pada hai" said Aarav.

"Haan aur vaise bhi Aniket vo meri friend hai, aur mujhe nahi pata tha ki tumhein meri friend itni khatakne lagegi, main keh deti hun usko jaane ke liye" Manvi said dramatically.

"Nahi Manvi ji aap bura mat maaniye, aapki friend hai na, jab tak chaahe yahan reh sakti hai, no issues" Aniket said pasting a smile, he didn't want Manvi to leave because of him.

Manvi smiled and said "Good"

"Vaise Manvi ji aapki is friend ka koi naam toh hoga na"

"Naam...naam hai na" Aarav said.

"Haan naam hai"

"Kya naam hai?"

"Vo...iska naam hai...vo..." Manvi pretended to memorize.

"Arey Manvi ji aapki friend ka naam nahi yaad aapko" said Aarav and pulled her aside

"Kya kar rahi ho seedhi tarah naam kyun nahi batati" Aarav murmured

"Arey asli naam nahi bata sakte na toh soch rahi hun kuch" she retorted.

"Manvi ji aap hi bata deejiye inka naam"said Aniket

"Haan vo inka naam hai, vo apna...aa Mrs Randhawa" she said.

"Arey ye toh surname hai,naam kya hai ye bataiye" Aniket said.

"Iska naam hai" they took Nitya aside

"Kya naam bataun tumhara tum hi bata do?" Aarav whispered.

"Got it, Madhumati kaisa rahega?" Manvi suggested.

"Nahi ye toh kisi purani film ka naam lagta hai" Nitya said.

"Toh, toh...Chandrabala?" Aarav suggested.

"Yuck kitna bekar naam hai " Nitya said

"Arey aap log naam bata rahe hain yaa naam bana rahe hain" Aniket asked.

"Vo naam...hai naa..Manvi batao apni saheli ka naam"

"Surname maine bataya, naam tum batao" she said.

"Vo naam hai inka Ch...Ch....Chandralekhaa " he said.

"Chandralekha?" Aniket peered at her.

"Haan mera naam Chandralekaha Randhawa" Nitya said with a smile and glared at ArMan.

Aniket pulled Aarav aside and said "Arey ye bhi koi naam hota hai, ye kis zamane ka naam hai iska? Tragedy queen jaisa naam"

"Kya bataun Aniket iski kahani mein tragedy hi tragedy hai, mere toh aansu aa jaate hai jab bhi iski kahani sunta hun"Aarav said dramatically.

Aniket turned up to Manvi and asked "Aisi kya tragedy hui hai inki life mein Manvi ji ?"
