Chuck vs. The Sensei Part 4

While Chuck was waiting for you to come and unlock him out of the cuffs, he managed to find some fruit to snack on while he was sitting on the floor patiently. Chuck was still looking around when he found a new way to get the cuffs off. Freeze them.

He grabbed the tool that blew freezing air over the cuffs and he was able to break them.

"Those seven years of MacGyver finally paid off." Chuck noted to himself.

"Chuck! I'm here!" you shouted, running into the store. "I'm here! Let me get..." you stopped when you noticed the cuffs were off. "And you're free."

"Yeah! Sorry...I was going to wait for you then I found a way so you know..."

"Of course. So.... Sarah told us to wait here."

"Yeah..."

"But you know we don't do that."

"Absolutely not. Let's go." Chuck said smiling, grabbing your hand and you both ran out.

You hopped into Chuck's Nerd Herder. You pulled up slowly to where Casey and Sarah would be.

"This is it?" you asked.

"This is it."

All of a sudden, someone came up to Chuck's side, knocking on the window with a gun.

"Um... computer emergency?" Chuck asked, nervously.

Sarah and Casey were able to get into the building, both of them had their guns ready. When they moved more inside, they then found you and Chuck, hands tied and guns pointed at you both.

"We were waiting in the car. I swear." Chuck said.

You all had your hands tied now as they lead you to the room where Ty Bennett was waiting. There were more men standing around, guns ready to fire and people sitting on the floor. Bennett's students.

"Hello, John. And friends." Bennett greeted. You and Chuck tried to wave while having your hands tied. "This is unfortunate."

"No matter where you run, where you hide, I'm going to be there, waiting." Casey warned.

"Please be careful." Sarah whispered to Casey.

"Always so proud, so righteous, John. But I have business to attend to." Bennett then grabbed a gun and pointed it at Casey. " I can't have you interfering. "

"I thought you were a man of honor. If I'm not good enough to make your team, surely you could defeat me without the gun. With honor."

" You're right. My students, this is a special lesson: How to kill a man with honor. It will happen very quickly."

You, Chuck and Sarah were dragged away to the side to sit and watch.

A man untied Casey's hands as him and Bennett began to circle each other.

"Eye of the tiger, buddy."

" Shut up, Chuck." Casey warned.

"Sorry."

Bennett's students began pounding on the floor as they prepared to fight and the three of you looked around nervously.

The fight started and it was not looking good for Casey at all. He was getting hit left and right.

"We're in trouble, aren't we?" Chuck asked Sarah.

Casey kept getting knocked around.

"Use the snake on him. Get around him." Chuck tried to tell him.

It was no use. Bennett was just too strong and too good of a fighter.

" Come on! Come on! Casey, hit him!" Chuck shouted.

"He's outmatched." Sarah said.

"I can't look." You said, looking down.

Bennett then hit Casey so hard, Casey got knocked down to the ground and landed right in front of you three, his nose all bloody.

"You lost your calm, John. Your center is filled with conflict." Bennett commented.

An idea then hit Chuck.

"That's it." you and Sarah looked over at Chuck, confused. "Casey... Casey! Casey, you gotta get up. You gotta get up."

"Run for it, Chuck. Go." Casey urged.

" It's too bad, really. I was hoping my men would see better skills from a former student of mine." Bennett said, still ready to beat up Casey.

"Look. Look, I get how you're feeling, man. I totally get how you're feeling. You're feeling betrayed by someone that you really care about." Chuck began.

"You're damaging my calm, Chuck."

"You've spent so much of your life- pushing people away. Lashing out with purple words and... and punches. But I know why you do it. You do it because you're scared."

"What?"

" Scared. Scared to be known. Scared that, if we see who you really are, we'd actually care about you."

"Uhhh...honey?" you said, trying to stop Chuck from getting killed by Casey.

" You shut up!" Casey shouted.

"Yeah. Shut up, Chuck. You're making him mad." Sarah said, jumping in.

Chuck looked at Sarah and gave her a thumb's up.

" Underneath that extremely terrifying exterior lies a man who deeply, deeply feels. You care. You care about us. You care about me. You care about Y/N. Admit it. You feel all warm and mushy about us. Go ahead. Say it. You love us, John Casey. "

"I'm going to kill you!" Casey yelled, getting up and grabbing Chuck by his collar.

"Wait, wait, wait! Hold on. No. Not me. Him." Chuck said, pointing at Bennett. Casey turned to look at him, growling and glaring.

Casey got up and now, was finally kicking Bennett's ass.

"Nice work, sensei." Sarah commented.

" Yeah. Well, the thing is, Casey doesn't really have a calm center." Chuck noted.

"Yeah... It's more of an angry center." you added.

Casey finally was able to take down Bennett, knocking him to the ground.

"There he is. There's your sensei. Take a good look at him. Who's next?" Casey asked.

Chuck cheered.

The FBI then came running in to grab the weapon and arresting people.

"You called Beckman." Casey stated, glaring at Chuck.

" What? It's not my fault. They guessed."

"Well, thanks for saving my life today, Chuck." Chuck said, imitating Casey as you, Chuck and Casey arrived back at their place, all of you walking through the courtyard. " Anytime, Casey. Yeah. You know what? You're my friend. Yeah. You know what? You're my friend, too. Well, that's really kind of you, Casey. Have a good night."

You and Chuck were at the front of his door and Casey inside his place.

"Thank you." Casey said quietly, looking at you both.

"Did he just?" you asked, looking at Chuck.

" You said something, didn't you? You said something. You said something!" Chuck called out, running over to Casey. Casey just ended up closing the door in Chuck's face. "I heard that. I heard that. You heard that right Y/N?"

"Oh I heard it."

When you entered Chuck's house, you both found Ellie lying on the couch.

"Hey. Sorry I missed tonight. I got stuck at work." Chuck said as he went to sat down on the edge of the couch she was lying on and you stood beside Chuck.

" It's okay. Y/N told me. I'm so glad you were there."

"Of course I would be." you told her, smiling.

"Uh... Where are Awesome's parents?" Chuck asked, looking around the house.

" He's, um... he's taking them to the airport."

" I really am sorry about missing the dinner, Ell. I mean, I know it's important for you to let your future in-laws meet your family and..."

"You know, I, um... I've never been one of those girls that dreamed about what their wedding day would be like. What I would wear. Even the person that I would marry. It was all kind of, uh... kind of hazy. Except... except one thing was clear- That Dad would walk me down the aisle." Ellie said, trying not to cry.

" Hey, Ellie..."

" I know it's not going to happen. It's just... it's just really hard to let go of that."

You and Chuck went up to his room to relax, but Chuck went into his closet and pulled out a box.

"What's that babe?"

"Stuff my dad sent me."

Chuck pulled out a card, and inside was a phone number his dad left him.

"Are you actually going to try to do this? For Ellie?"

"It's her only wish for her wedding. The Only thing she dreamed about. Would you try to do this if you knew a way to get ahold of him?"

You smiled warmly at Chuck.

"Yeah...I would." you said softly.

Chuck came over and sat beside you as he pulled out his phone, starting to punch in the number. Chuck took a deep breath.

"Hey... I'm with you on this." you said, putting your hand on his arm and rubbing it. Chuck smiled and dialed the number.

When he called it though it said the number was out of service.

"I'm sorry Chuck."

"Come on." Chuck said grabbing your hand and walking back downstairs so he could find Ellie.

Ellie was in the kitchen, washing some dishes and you both approached her.

"What is it?" Ellie asked.

" Dad's going to walk you down the aisle." Chuck said, determined.

"You can't say that, Chuck. I know that you want that for me, but we haven't heard from him in a really long time."

"Yeah. Well, I'm going to find him. I'm a smart guy. I can do that. And, when he hears about the wedding, he'll be here for you."

"I'm going to help." you said stepping in and Chuck smiled big at you.

" Come on. You really think he's going to make it?"

"I guarantee it."

Ellie just smiled warmly at the both of you.
