Chuck vs. The DeLorean Part 2

"General, In the spirit of full disclosure, my father has conned Sheik Rajiv Amad out of nearly a million dollars. Hit the big time. Give the order, and I'll bring him in." Sarah told Beckman as you all gathered in Castle.

" What? ! You're gonna arrest your own father? Isn't that kind of a conflict of interest?" Chuck asked.

" If Agent Walker's uncomfortable, I'd be happy to make the arrest." Casey noted.

You and Chuck looked at him weird.

"No one is getting arrested. Yet. Amad's been on the CIA's terror watch list for years. He's suspected of funding terrorist regimes in Afghanistan and Kenya. We have no recent photos, and he goes by a number of different aliases. Any information your father could provide about the sheik's financial holdings would be valuable intel."

" General, my father is unaware of my CIA career. In fact, I'm not sure he would be all that proud."

"No one is asking you to compromise your cover, Agent Walker. Just talk to your father. Take the Intersects with you."

" General, my father... "

"Your father conned a very connected, very dangerous man. You better find out how deep he's in before the sheik does." Beckman finished before signing off, leaving an irritated Sarah.

You went with Chuck and Casey back to the Buy More. Casey was trying to do some work but you and Chuck just wanted to talk about this whole situation.

"Sarah was just bluffing with Beckman, right? I mean, she'd never arrest her own father." you asked Casey.

" Why not? Guy's a criminal. Been in and out of jail her whole life."

" But he... but he seems to care, though. You know, I mean, at least he's attempting to have a relationship. I don't even know where my own father is."

"And mine doesn't even really care about me."

"Oh, that's sad. You've confused me with someone that cares about your life before the Intersect." Casey finished, walking away.

"Good session, buddy. Really feel like we had a breakthrough there." Chuck said sarcastically.

"Yeah. Fantastic."

"So long, guys." Morgan started, appearing behind you both. "We had a good run, didn't we?"

"Stuff of legend. Where you headed?" Chuck asked.

" Adulthood. Anna and I are moving in together."

"Really? That's fantastic! " you said.

"Congratulations, buddy."

" Yeah. Yeah, I guess. How come you two don't have your own place yet? You practically live together anyways."

"Oh! Well we can't afford our own place right now but that's why we have keys to each other's houses so it's almost like living together in a way." you said.

"True. Well, enjoy your youth. Enjoy every damn minute of it." Morgan finished, walking away.

You and Chuck looked at each other and shrugged.

"Is it weird that we don't actually live together yet?" you asked.

"Maybe. But like you said, with us having a key to each other's place it is almost like we already live together but...one day. We will have our own place. One day." Chuck said, smiling at you.

You smiled back and leaned up to kiss him.

"I'm going to get back to work. See you after?"

"Of course." Chuck said, giving you a wink.

You smiled one last time at him and left.

"He's not a schnook! He's a wonderful caring, intelligent guy." Sarah defended Chuck as she was getting ready to go out with her dad, you and Chuck.

"Listen honey, your best friend seems like a sweetheart but her boyfriend? A class A schnook. Look, you don't want to cut me in, no problem. But don't play me for a fool. The guy has 2, 200 bucks to his name."

You and Chuck were walking up to his door, all dressed up for the night when you both heard Sarah and her dad talking.

"How do you know?" Sarah asked.

" I lifted his ATM card last night."

You looked at Chuck and he checked his wallet and realized it was gone.

Sarah snatched the ATM card out of her dad's hand.

"I wanted to check him out 'cause I was worried about you and your best friend who you seem to care about a lot."

" And now that you know he's broke?"

" Now, I'm really worried."

"Did you go checking on Y/N too now?"

"No...I'll do that after."

You looked at Chuck and tried to find someplace to hide your card. But you had no pockets since you were wearing a dress.

"I'm going to get a cab." you both heard her dad say, and you and Chuck backed away and then walked over again like you just got there.

"Y/N, Charlie, there you are." Sarah's dad greeted you both as he opened the door.

"Hi."

" Good to see you again, Mr. Burton." you told him.

"Oh, please, please, Jack. Looking very nice Y/N." he then turned to Chuck." Nice tie. Looking sharp, young man." he patted Chuck's shoulder and then walked away.

"Well, I think he's warming up to us." Chuck pointed out.

"This accidentally fell into my father's pocket." Sarah said, giving Chuck back his card.

" It's okay. He's just being protective of you."

"And after the way we behaved last night, I can't say that I blame him." you said.

"Guys, you're attributing good intentions to him because you're good people."

"Well, he must have done something right." Chuck noted.

"Yeah! You turned out pretty good." you told her, smiling.

Sarah smiled warmly at you both.

"Let's go." She told you both as she linked arms with you, walking out of her place, Chuck right behind you.

You were all now sitting outside on the patio of a real nice and fancy restaurant, enjoying your dinner.

"The trick was it had to be an actual accident. Angel here was the best. She could make a real doc believe that she had a broken arm." Sarah's father told you all.

" Uh, that's because I did."

" One time- that's only because the armored truck hit a patch of ice."

" Unforeseeable act of God, Sarah." Chuck said.

" Absolutely. At least your childhood was filled with excitement." you told her, nudging her a bit.

" No kid had as much fun as you did." her dad told her.

" Um, so this latest, uh, score? Sarah said you were just in Dubai?" you asked her dad.

"Sure it's okay?" Sarah's dad asked her for confirmation.

" Oh, they're fine. Trust me."

" Always, darling. Never forget that."

"Something about, uh, a rich sheik?" Chuck asked.

" I'm not a boastful man, Charlie, but this was my Mona Lisa. These oil guys were just dying to buy anything American."

" Oh, no. You didn't." Sarah said, with a small smile on her face.

"Oh, yeah. Of course I did."

"I think we're missing a step here." you said.

"He pulled a Lichtenstein." Sarah replied, looking at you both.

" A Lichten what?" Chuck asked.

" Lichtenstein is a crazy invention of my father's. A German billionaire who has fallen on hard times, and needs to sell something fast. So, like, a piece of art, or jewelry?"

" Bigger."

" A boat? A plane?" Chuck asked.

" Closer, Charlie. But I brought you to my hotel for a reason. I sold them that." he said pointing at the huge building behind them.

"You..." you started, pointing at the building, shocked.

" What? ! You sold them Nagamichi Plaza? That's incredible." Chuck said, a little excited.

" That's dangerous. They're going to find you." Sarah warned.

" Oh, relax. The 700 grand is a finder's fee for putting them in touch with Lichtenstein. By the time they know it's gone, I'll be on an island. Remember you two, the bigger the lie, the easier..."

" The easier it is to believe." you and Chuck said.

"Very good."

" You think your dad bought us as best friends? He's a pretty sharp guy." you asked Sarah as you and her walked in the hotel, arm in arm as you held Chuck's hand with your free one.

"He has his moments."

" Maybe we should amp up the friendship. Try and sell it a little better."

"And do what? Braid each other's hair at the table? Very funny. " Just make sure you have your wallets."

Chuck began to check his pockets since he had yours and his in them. All of a sudden, a man walked by you both and you both flashed.

"Oh! We just flashed. That's him." You said.

"That's Sheik Rajiv Amad." Chuck added.

" Stay here."

" What do you think he wants?" you asked.

" What do you think? Lichtenstein. Too bad he doesn't exist." Sarah then ran off, leaving you and Chuck standing there.

As you and Chuck stood there, watching Sarah and her father try to work it out with Amad and his men, you figured you had to help them out somehow.

You both then came up with a brilliant idea.

"Mr. Lichtenstein? ! Is there a Mr. Lichtenstein here?" a woman who worked at the hotel called out.

Sarah and her dad looked at her weird.

" Ja." they could hear Chuck call out in a German accent.

" Uh, Mr. Lichtenstein, you have a message."

Sarah and her dad walked over to Chuck and you with Amad and his men.

"Uh, Sheik Rajiv Amad, may I present Hans Lichtenstein. And his lovely wife, Hilda."

You and Chuck stood up, about to say something when Sarah cut in.

" Unfortunately, Mr. and Mrs. Lichtenstein only speak German. But he'll be happy to meet you tomorrow at his office. 2:00?"

" Okay. But if I don't get my building, he's a dead man. And she will be too. Translate that." Amad told them before walking away.

" Okay. I knew you three were on the grift." Sarah's dad said, all excited.
