You, Chuck and Bryce were walking in the station, Bryce having a hold on Von Hayes.

"You know, I don't need Casey to tell me I'm a good spy. I mean I think I'm doing fine. The fact of the matter is I mean, it's really not as hard as it's cracked up to be anyway." Chuck said.

"Chuck you are doing great okay? And I'm not just saying that." you said as you turned your head to look at him.

"Thank you. And you are too. I'm not just saying that." he told you and gave you a wink and you smiled.

"Okay, let's try this one more time." A woman said, grabbing Chuck and pointing a gun to his head. It was the FULCRUM agent. "The microchip."

"Chuck!" you shouted in fear as you watched the woman threaten to kill the man you love.

Von was terrified and ended up running off. You all tried to stop him but he was gone.

" The microchip, now."

" Release the kid first. " Bryce demanded, gun pointed at her.

""Kid"? Honestly, we're born in the same year." Chuck said a little annoyed.

"Give me the chip and I'll let him go. Promise." She said.

"Bryce?" you said, looking at Bryce, panic clear on your face.

Bryce then sensed Sarah behind him, hiding with her gun ready, and could see her from the corner of his eye so he decided to drop his gun on the floor and shove it forward.

"There. Now release him." Bryce said.

"Sorry." the woman said as she slowly began to drag Chuck away.

"No..."you were about to stop the woman and Bryce stopped you. "Bryce! We can't let her take Chuck. She'll kill him!"

"It's okay." he then motioned his head and you looked over and saw Sarah there, ready to shoot and you smiled.

"Got it? " he shouted.

"Yeah, I got it." Sarah said, raising her gun now to shoot.

"Take it."

Sarah was about to shoot but then fear struck in. She was afraid of accidentally shooting you or Chuck since you were both so close. She couldn't do it.

"Take the shot, Sarah! Sarah, take the shot! Take it!" Bryce kept shouting at her as the woman was slowly dragging Chuck away more and more.

All of a sudden a gun shot went off and you and Chuck jumped. It was Casey. He shot down the woman, no problem.

"Well, you want something done right... you do it yourself." Casey said.

Soon as you realized Chuck was okay you ran to him, throwing your arms around his neck and burying your face in his neck and he wrapped his arms tight around your waist.

"It's okay. It's okay. I'm okay baby." Chuck said softly. He kissed your temple and then returned to squeezing you tight and he closed his eyes, relieved.

The next day, you were off but you went to go see Chuck at work along with Casey. You all heard commotion in the back and went to go see what was going on.

You all walked in to see Anna taking down this guy from another store. You were all quite impressed.

"Can I get a background clearance on a one Anna Wu? I have a candidate for possible field work." Casey said, talking into his phone.

You and Chuck both turned to look at him.

"No." Chuck told him.

You and Chuck were walking through the courtyard back at his place, arms around each other, when Bryce popped up, once again.

"Chuck. Y/N."

Both you and Chuck jumped.

" What did I say about the entrances?" Chuck asked.

"We need to talk about Sarah. She had a chance to take the shot back there and she didn't. She hesitated and almost cost us the microchip and your life. All because you two were there and in the way."

"We know." you said softly.

" What are you going to do about it?"

" We don't know, Bryce. You tell us. What are we supposed to do?" Chuck asked.

"You'll do the right thing. You always do Chuck. And I believe you do too Y/N." Bryce said with a smile and you both smiled softly back.

" Chuck, that is why I sent you the Intersect in the first place. And if someone had to be there when you opened it then I'm glad it was you Y/N."

"Thanks Bryce." you told him.

Bryce picked up his bag and began to leave when Chuck noticed two pairs of sunglasses left behind. Chuck went over to grab them.

"Hey, uh, Bryce... Forgot your glasses." Chuck said grabbing both of them.

" You two keep 'em. If you're going to be a real spies, you're gonna need them."

You and Chuck looked at each other then back at Bryce.

"We don't... we don't want to be real spies." you told him softly as Chuck handed him back the glasses.

"From what I've seen, it's a little too late for that, guys." Bryce then looked just at Chuck. " I'm sure you hate me right now. But someday you're gonna realize I was looking out for you. I had been all along."

Bryce then walked away leaving you and Chuck standing there.

Later at night, you and Chuck were sitting at the fountain, waiting for Sarah. You were resting your head on his shoulder when you both heard Sarah coming down and you both looked over at her.

"Hey guys." Sarah said, coming to sit down beside you.

" Hey. " you said.

"Everything okay?" she asked.

"Yeah, yeah. Just, there's, um... we just had a couple of things we wanted to tell you before dinner." Chuck said.

"Yeah. Me, too."

"Look, we both know how I feel about you, so I'm just gonna shoot straight." you started, looking at Sarah. "Sarah, you're amazing okay? You have become a very close friend to me. You're fun, you're easy to talk to, you laugh at all my lame jokes, besides Chuck here and...I-I don't know. It's just nice to have a real good girl friend I can talk to anything about. Besides Ellie of course."

Sarah smiled, looking at you.

"And I know Chuck has been feeling the same, with you becoming a close friend."

"Absolutely." Chuck said smiling.

"The truth is... you are one of my best friends now. You are. And all I can think about, is what else we may do in the future as friends you know? Once the intersect is out of our heads. I mean I would love to have girls nights, and talk and God, I even see you as a brides maid for whenever I get married one day. But then I realize that, that may never happen. Because you can't have a normal life."

Chuck looked at you sadly and put his arm around you, rubbing your arm softly.

"The thing is Sarah... We're normal people, who want a normal life." Chuck finished and you nodded your head, holding back tears.

"You know, someday, when the Intersect is out of your heads and you have the life that you two always wanted, you'll forget all about me." Sarah said, trying to hold back tears as well.

"I seriously doubt that." you said.

" Come on, we better get inside. They're waiting for us."

You all got up and headed inside, all trying to put on your best smiles.

Ellie was so happy to see you and Sarah and came running to hug you both and then dragged you both over to show you both some wedding stuff.

Chuck looked at you and smiled warmly.

"Who knows, maybe you're next, huh?" Devon said, as he came up to Chuck when he saw the way he was looking at you.

"One day." Chuck said as he continued to look at you and you looked back at him and smiled.

You were spending the night at his tonight and came back into his room, dressed in your pajamas. As you walked in though you saw Chuck with sunglasses in his hand.

"What's that?" you asked.

"Looks like Bryce snuck in and left us our sunglasses." Chuck replied as he handed you your pair.

"These are so for men though so why would he have a pair for me." you said laughing a little.

Chuck shrugged and then you both looked at each other and then decided to put them on.

"Not bad. Carmichael. Charles Carmichael." Chuck said as he tried to do a Sean Connery impression.

You laughed a little.

"I feel like I look ridiculous in these."

All of a sudden something came up on the lenses and you and Chuck saw a whole bunch of images. Bryce updated the Intersect and now more was put into your heads. Once it was done, you and Chuck fell back onto the floor.

" I hate Bryce Larkin." you and Chuck said at the same time.
