Chapter 1: Pokémon

It's a nice day out in Kalos of the Pokémon universe. I had decided to drop by my special favorite someone to spend a little time while in my own universe, it was pouring rain...yeah, not fun.

I sat on the living room couch in a two story home, in the city of Lumiose, with my legs crossed, and my back firmly pressed against the green fabric of the couch's back. "Another day in my fantasy..." I whispered to myself happily. I already knew where he was, when he would show up, and even what his reaction was going to be. It was still priceless to watch for myself though, I must admit.

The thumping of footsteps sounded from the stairs, leading downward. "Alright, maybe I ca-nope..." A young adult, no older than 18, with orange hair, and bright blue eyes stood in the stairwell with his hands pressed against his face. "I can't go one day, can I?" he groaned.

Laughing to myself, I replied, "You just had two months off, what are you complaining about?" He tried to hide his laughter, but there wasn't really a lot he could sneak past me.

"Every time you come here, something crazy happens." Hey, he's not wrong....oh wait, now I feel bad for my characters again..."Well it's your lucky day. I got nothing planned this time. I just wanted to hang out since you've got a nice and sunny day out."

"I guess the weather's not so nice on your side?" He asked giving me a sort of half smile. Like one where you want to smile, but you only put about half the energy you normally would to produce one. If it were an anime (Oh wait, it kinda is), I would sweatdrop and respond by saying, "Yeah, and a few other universes too..." Char is one of the only characters I have jurisdiction over that's aware of the other universes. Him and a few of those closest that is.

"Oh yeah, by the way, how's Eve been doing?" I asked him, a hint of concern in my tone. He responded with a heavy sigh. "Well, without someone to actually fully be hers, she's still kinda out of it...." "Right, since people of your multiverse can't function right without one of us... I'm still trying my best, but without her original owne-um... you know what I mean, she'll still just act like a background character. My connection with her's fuzzy at best."

Char seemed to shrug it off. It was basically the same conversation every time I come here. Poor guy... He loves his sister to bits. I wish there were more I could do for him, but 'gods' like me, well like 'her', don't come around very often. Anyway, he came around and sat down on the couch with me and went to turn on the T.V. It was probably better that way anyway. We really don't need to continue that conversation.

It ended up being a solid ten minutes of just channel surfing before we realized nothing was on at the moment. "We could always call up Geo or Sasha to see what they're up to." Char just gave me a look that read, 'really?' "Heh, sorry. Figured you'd wanna do the honors. Geo's out in the training field, and Sasha's... I think shopping with her dad?" "You think?" "I'm sorry! I can't really think properly right now. Kinda a part of the reason I came here. Inspiration's hard to come by without stable connections."

A majority of this world runs under my jurisdiction, so I'm the one who has to keep everything going. Drawing from my inspiration helps me manage my control over the flow of time, and keep it moving as it should. There's a reason for my name.

I hop off the couch and stretch my arms up, pretty much ready to get moving around. Laying around all day wasn't on my agenda. "C'mon, let's at least take a walk around town. I hardly get to do this anymore." "Fine. I hope I get a battle out of this..." I couldn't help but laugh. The way Char had become, it just seemed funny to me. I've been watching over him for such a long time, and helped him throughout every step of his journey up till now. "Yeah, definitely. I'll see who I can arrange it with."

Heading out of the home, we just started heading down the sidewalk to see what we could find. Char seemed to be off in his own thoughts, much like I was in mine. I was trying to think of who'd want to fight him and, who'd be able to take him on without getting completely obliterated. Finding someone who matched both of those was always a bit tricky... Wait... Why is his battle ideas blurring up? I'm trying to picture possible opponents, but Every time he goes to attack, it fuzzes up like an old T.V. and I loose it. I end up looking at a past battle, or what he's currently doing, which is just walking with me. Come to think of it, I can't even see his opponents anymore... What is-"Chrono, watch it!" And just like that, I was ripped from my thoughts as I get pinned to the ground suddenly. Can I just say OW?!

Looking up, I see dark navy blue feathers and hair dangling in front of my face... Wait, "Sasha?!" Greeted by a bright and extremely cheerful smile, the girl, about 17 herself, with birdlike wings stared down at me. "Chrono! It's so good to see you again!" She squeezed tightly, not really that painful though. She wasn't the most physically strong. Once she released, she started talking a million miles an hour "I saw Char, and I thought, ooooh! Time to go greet him, but then I saw someone walking with him, and I was like, who's that-oh wait, it's Chronigma! And I just had to greet you fir-wait, come to think of it, how did you not step out of the way in time? Normally you're right on top of something like that."

I just gave her an awkward laugh and asked, "Um, mind getting off me first?" She happily obliged and got up, brushing herself off, and helping me to my feet. "I thought you were out shopping with your old man?" She tilted her head and gave me a weird, confused look. "What do you mean? I was on my way over to check on Char," who was currently standing off, feeling like he just got left out of the conversation.... Oh boy, this is gonna be a long day, I can already tell... and for once, it won't just be long for Char...
