Amamatu's POV

After what the nurse told doc Amina, all of us were silent. It's been 5 hrs since that incident occurred but there has been no response from the doc. Finally she came out of the ER.

"Mr Muhammad (baba) Nabila has regained consciousness but I'm not sure if you'll be able to see her know. She needs rest" doc Amina said feeling relieved. Amma stood up and muttered Alhamdulillah facing doc Amina.

I also released a breath I didn't know I was holding. At least, a part of me was relieved but I can't still get over the fact that I caused all this.

"You will all be able to see her one after the other in the next 2 to 3 hours" doc Amina said before she left is there

"Alhamdulillah" I kept chanting in my head. Finally, it seems like years . Just a few hours to come.

Nabila's POV

I opened my eyes to see a person moving in white clothes. I raised my eyes up , all I was seeing were white in color. I brought my eyes down, and I saw myself in white too
WHAT!!
Where am I ?
I'm I dead?
Oh yes, I'm dead
Only dead people are dressed in white
Then who are these people that are also dressed in white?
Are they the living dead?
Will I also be like them?
What about my Daada, Amma, Ammi, Abba, Ama,MD,MJ and Waleed.
I won't see them again, they too won't see me again
It hurts............!!!

These thoughts clouded my head while I clutched my eyes closed because my head hurts.

"Ouch" I managed to say. I tried to move my hand to my head but I couldn't. It was as if it was fixed there.

"Ta tashi( she's awake)" I heard a familiar voice but my mind can't register whose voice it was

"Beelaaaahh" I heard that voice again. Yes it belongs to Ama. My dear Amamah. Tears started streaming down my face

"My Nabila" i opened my eyes to meet Ammah's loving grey ones staring back at mine, tears filled. Different emotions were contained in those two eyes that words won't be able to explain

My eyes wandered around the room( yes I now realize I'm in a hospital) and my eyes landed on Ama. I motioned for her to come forward but she was reluctant.

"B-ee--la-aa-ahh I'm sss-so-ory" Ama stammered falling on her knees

"I'm really really sorry"she cried folding her two palms together.

"Ama stand up. You didn't do anything okay? And even if you didn't do that if God wanted it would have been a situation whereby I get stuck in the shower and no one knows about and I would have died. In fact you saved me. Had it been you didn't get me out of there or you didn't know that I was in there do you what might have happened? I have nothing to say to you Ama except for thank you. Thank you very much for saving my life." I ended hugging her and we all bursted into tears.

"Thank you" I said
"No thank you" Ama cut me off
"Thank you"
"No thank you"
"Not again"I rolled my eyes
"Again" Ama dared
"Amaaaa"
"Beelaaaahh"
"Ama bari(stop)"
"Beelah fara(start)"
"ARGHHHHHHHH"
"YAAAAAAAYYYY"

I kept quiet wondering if she was possessed.

"Okay I'm not possessed" what.... how did she hear

"Coz you were saying it out loud duh" I mentally face-palmed myself I really need to stop doing this... thinking out loud

"Yeah you surely need to" Ama said nonchalantly
"Ama are you spiritual?"I asked
"No I'm not but you think I am. It happens sometimes. You just woke up and you've been unconscious so you might think that you're saying something's in your mind but nahh you aren't" Ama stated being obvious while Amma stared at us adorably

"Where is Daada?" I enquired looking around the room for the second time my eyes landing on Amma

"He went home to check on MD and the rest. He should be back in a few minutes" Amma informed.

Minutes passed before we heard a knock on the door and a salaam followed.

"Daada....."I started before Daada pulled me into a hug and I broke into tears. Daada comforted me and wiped my tears. He told me that I'm brave a brave princess and that's why I fought for my life.

I smiled at him and he brought out a nylon. I was curious and I saw a Domino's Pizza box in it.

"Now hurry up and eat this up before something happens again" Daada said opening the box.

"Yaaay pepperoni my favorite" I squealed
"Yes princess" He took a slice and shoved it into my mouth.
"Ummm this is nice" I chuckled taking another bite. I took a slice and fed Daada too.

"Ama, Amma come and eat. I know you haven't eaten" I said waving for them to come forward

"No dear this is for you. I brought theirs for them" Daada said passing a box to Amma which she collected.

"But Daada I want to eat with Ama." I said and he nodded and motioned for Ama to come and eat with me

"So you want me to eat alone right?" Amma said feigning hurt

I laughed and said" Daada is here to eat with you"
"No dear I've eaten, besides I need to see the doctor for some formalities to be completed" Daada said hugging me then he left the room while me and Ama dug into the box

The pizza (pepperoni)

"So how are you doing" doctor Amina asked me
"I'm okay just a little headache"I replied. Doctor Amina nodded and told Daada to follow her to her office, she wanted to discuss something important with him and they both headed out.

Ama and Amma were telling me how terrified they were when they saw me unconscious. Ama did all the talking and Amma only nodded and added some things to what Ama said.

"Dama I took more time resting, it would have been more epic" I smiled evily rubbing my palms together. Ama smacked my shoulder and I fake - winced in pain and pretended to be hurt badly.

"Oh my dear sorry" Ama said looking Soo worried. I bursted into laughter and Ama smacked me again making me laugh harder

"Okay sorry" I said trying to control my laughter
"No" Ama said turning away
"Sorry"
"No"
"Sorry"
"No"
"I'm sorry"
"Nope"
"Sooorrrrryyyy"
"Noooooope"

"Okay you girls stop" Amma scolded
"Why are you behaving like kids huh? Now if you don't keep quiet I'll cancel the outing" Amma threatened knowing how well I love outings

"Outing?"
"Outing?"
Ama and I chorused.

"Yes. Outing. I planned it 3 hrs ago when doctor Amina said you'll be alright. I wanted it to be a surprise for you when you get well but then you already spoilt it. It's no more a surprise" Amma said making it look obvious that we spoilt her plan.

"There's no surprise but the outing is still valid right?" I asked Amma being curious.

Amma looked at me and shook her head. "Yes"

"YAAAAAAAYYYY" Ama AND I squealed
"Silence. You're in the hospital remember" Amma warned and we both kept mum placing our right index fingers on our pouted lips. Childish I know.

Amma looked at the both of us and she shook her head

I was discharged and we went home.

When we got home I removed all the hospital smell from my body and and applied humrah (Arabian scent) on my body and I wore a black and white kimono. Getting ready for the outing 😉
