-Day one: Hunted-
TW: blood, dead people, gun shots, falling down stairs, and unhappy ending.
His vision swirled, black dots poking at the sides of his sight.
He needed to run.
He needed to get out.
He had to.
Alarms blared, red flashing as shouts echoed through the halls.
"OVER THERE!"
He will get out.
He ran, hopping and stepping over corpses and other failed experiments.
'They didn't deserve this.'
He didn't have time to mourn the deaths of friends and innocent childrenpeople. He only had time for himself.
The ceiling fell, crushing someone. He heard the screams.
'526-E: The portal to new beginning'
The human ran towards the door to the staircase straight ahead of him.
'Almost there-!'
He hissed, immediately kicking the stomach of whatever decided on having him for dinner.
It yelped and striked right next to his head. The creature screeched and jumped off him. It decided that the guards would be a better meal, jumping on top of them.
He took this as his chance, dashing to the door and opening it. He got to the stairs!
'FUCK-!'
-and he tripped on the tail he forgot he had, tumbling down the stairs.
Oh well, he'll survive.
He passed out.
Tell me again how he will save the steves?
-Anyway, time skip to when he wakes up-
--------------------------------------
He woke up after who know how long.
Dizzy with exhaustion and fear, he sat their a moment. After recollecting what little sanity and strength he had and start to run again.
He knew he was being hunted, and who knows when it will end.
'526-E.'
He reminded himself, his tail wagging and making him trip immediately and fall down another flight of stairs.
Oh hey, he didn't pass out this time.
He got up, blood dripping down his face. Quickly, he went through the door to the basement floor.
The ground was covered in water, and the pristine, faultless, and refined white walls faded into beautiful and imperfect obsidian walls.
Growls echoed from behind him.
'Oh Ao3 gods, what have I done for you to bestowed this upon me?'
He turned around.
It was the thing from earlier. He got a closer look at it and-
'Its friend shaped...'
He foolishly stepped toward the thing. It was some cat-like creature with fur that looked like shadows. Its eyes were plain white and so where it's tusks.
It hissed and cowered away.
"..Pl-please don't go...."
The human practically begged, tears welling up in his eyes.
"..Let me help y-you...."
The creature hissed and stumbled. He took this as his chance to heal the creature. He stroked its head, whispering to it with pure insanity and desperation. The creature wailed as the weird sensation of healing magic washed over it. It jumped up at the burst of energy that swelled in its chest, purring with gleam.
He smiled.
"..Come on, Wisp..."
He walked forward, the creature following him hesitantly.
Both of them will escape.
He ran with a renewed spirit, his tail wagging and causing him to trip again as they ran towards where he and Wisp would hopefully start a new life.
.
.
.
THE PAST WILL COME TO HUNT YOU.
--------------------------------------
He woke up with Wisp passed out on his chest. He quickly picked up Wisp and walked around the room he woke up in.
--------------------------------------
He met a red steve! And got locked in a temple, and-
--------------------------------------
Wow, time is moving quick, it's almost like the author is losing motivation!
Anyway, Rainbow Kingdom Arc now!
He was called to a meeting with the leaders and Light. His tail wagged happily, and Wisp trotted next to him.
Both couldn't help but feel worry nipping at the crevices of their minds.
It felt as if they were walking into a trap, as if a hunt was about to come to an end at last.
He and Wisp walked up the stairs.
"...Something isn't r-right......"
His tail held one of Wisp's tusk. Wisp huffed in agreement.
They entered the meeting room, all the leaders looking concerned or paranoid.
"Sabre. I'm glad you're here"
The meeting begins.
--------------------------------------
So, the leaders wanted him to go out with some scouts and investigate the forest. He was fine with it, no biggie, or well-
"...Th-that's......"
He thought he would never see it again. That symbol, that horrid symbol.
"Sabre?"
"SABRE!"
...
"..BRE..."
The hunt never ended.
--------------------------------------
Steves were disappearing left and right. The leaders and Light especially were stressed out of their minds.
After the first body was found, they sent him out with a group of scouts.
What a terrible mistake.
--------------------------------------
He and Wisp ran.
Bullets were fired.
Yells were heard.
And they all felt like deers in hunting season.
Mutilated bodies could be found behind every tree
Blood stained the grass.
Suddenly. Sabre's world turned black.
They hunted and got what they wanted.
