Will you sink, or swim, Light?  Angst.

Is this steve world a Rainbow Quest one? Who knows! It only focuses on Violent Steves and our Protagonist soo... have fun?
i do have a general idea on what this steve world contains, so if u wanna know more about it, feel free to ask! i might put it in my AU book anyways, who knows.

Oh yeah, and the first AU that hasn't been written down at all yet! this one is the Bad Creators AU btw, u might've heard it before briefly in my AU book. take this ig lmao.

The sound of rushing water felt harsh to his ears, and so are the sound of rustling leaves. There's people talking in the distant, and something smells sickingly sweet. There's just... so much going on here. But he can't focus on that, no, he has a job to do.

He breathes in. "Okay, come on Light. Focus."

Spinning the sword in his grasp before letting it hang by his side, he made his way towards the thousands of voices. The grass and trees slowly turning into a violet shade, spreading like rot, like the sunset over the horizon.

Many allium flowers— at least, that's what they're called in the books given to him— were growing around and over the plants, with other pink and violet flowers he doesn't recognize all over as well. He couches over one of the unrecognized flowers and pulled them from its roots, curiously looking them over.

"What are these...?"

Putting it in his inventory, he looks up from the plant and spots structures within the distant fog. He gets up and takes out his shield.

"Well, whatever it is, it means I'm in the right place."

Everything is covered in violet. Like, everything. The Village that once was are covered in dark purple vines with pink puffy flowers littered all over them. Bits of small particles floats around the entirety of the Village, seeming to come from the vines.

"That's... a lot of spores."

Oh, so that's how this is spreading. But it's... covering the entirety of the Village. All of it.

There's not a single one that isn't covered, and the Creators told him that the Violets completely believes that they couldn't live without it. Which is... concerning. They're chattering like nothing's wrong, it's disturbing.

He'll try anyways, maybe he could still save the ones that hasn't reached that far yet. It only seems to affect Violets for some reason so he should be fine, probably.

"Alright, let's just.. go in, get as many out as possible, and burn everything else." The steve whispered under his breathe, before peeking out from beside a house, into the Village.

They're all covered in vines. All of them. Not a single one of them was safe. None of them. And yet they talked to one another like they're just going on with their lives. Like they're not being taken over. It's.

One of them spots him and smiles, their teeth showing and he ducked away as soon as he could. He thinks he heard them calling out to him. Crap, crap crap— he needs. He needs to do this, he needs to do it now. Most of the Village is made out of wood, it would be easy.

So, so easy. The Creators said it would be easy. He didn't believe them. Why didn't he believe them?

Footsteps are nearing his location as he reaches into his inventory, his hand that once held a sword is now holding out a flint n' steel. The hand that used to hold his shield came up to grab the flint.

He breaths in.

"Come on, come on."

He held the two items against eachother, and scraped. A spark of fire.

He held them against the wooden house he's hiding behind and scraped. The fire ignites and spreads.

It's warm.

He doesn't remember when he's near the rushing waters again. The trees are silent and there's screaming in the distant. The smell of smoke filled the air as in the far away in the fog, he sees flickers of orange and red.

The Village is gone. He did it. It was easy.

It felt wrong. It didn't feel okay.

Shaky breathing out, he drags himself towards the waterfall. They said to set the firework off here and fall into the water, and he'll appear back at the Creation Hub. Just like that.

He held the firework into the air. He can do this. He can do this.

"Alright. Come on, let's do this."

He set off the firework, sucked in a long breath, and jumped.

Cold. Cold, cold, cold—  he breaths out and in and chokes on water that's entering his lungs. Hands reaching for the surface as he waved his arms, kicking as much as he could to get back up. He couldn't breath, he couldn't

He gasps as he found himself in someone's arms, breathing heavily as he slowly realizes that he's not drowning anymore. He greedily sucks in another breath and breaths.

Dinnerbone: Why did you try to swim?

"Ah—!" Light snapped his attention back to the Creator, blinking as he noticed he's the one holding him. "I uh.. I panicked."

Dinnerbone: We told you we would get you.

Dinnerbone: Do you not trust us?

The steve shrinks into himself at the Creator's narrowed stare. "Nonono— I do, I just panicked! That's all!"

His stare didn't let up, and he wishes he could crawl into himself. Looking down, he tightly held his arms with both of his hands. He curled into himself even further.

With a shaky voice, he whispers. "I'm sorry..."

Dinnerbone: Don't do that again.

Dinnerbone: Got it?

He nods. "Understood."

The smell of burning is comforting, in a way, fading away as he heads for the nearest large body of water. The snow beneath his feet crunches and turns into rustling of the grass as he passes by.

He doesn't know how long he has been walking, but he doesn't care. It wouldn't matter either way, he got it done. The Creators would be pleased.

A lake could be spotted nearby and he rushes over to it. Stumbling slightly as he slows near the edge of it. His hand already moving before he could even think of it, a firework in hand.

He lit the firework off, and as the colours erupts into the sky, he looks down at his reflection. He looks roughened up, but he'll be okay. He knows that.

Shutting his eyes, he stepped forward and let himself fall into the water.

He sinks.
