Horatio's P.O.V

I lead Y/n to one of the interrogation rooms to talk privately, on the way we pass by Kyle and Y/n asks
"Who's the amateur hour?"
"My son Kyle" I say
"Your son huh,I take it he takes after his mum?" Y/n says
"In some ways" I say as we arrive at the room
"I can tell,he lacks your...height and authority" Y/n says,it had seemed like she was going to say something different but thought better of it.

Upon entering the room we sit down on opposite sides of the table,I do hope that Y/n isn't just here to work and she is here for another reason.
"I take it you would like to know why I'm here" Y/n says first
"I'm guessing you are here for work?" I ask here
"Indeed,Judge Fletcher has put me on this case personally" Y/n says "The daughter of a wealthy businesswoman has gone missing some where here in Miami"
"What does this have to do with my team?" I ask.

Y/n's P.O.V

"The last person known to have seen Helen Masters before she disappeared was a man by the name of Karl Banks" I tell Horatio
"Karl Banks was a suspect in the murder of three bankers two months ago" Horatio tells me"I have no way of knowing if Banks is even still in Miami"
"Well that might be a problem" I admit.

"Is this the only reason you are here?" Horatio asks,I look into his blue eyes thinking back to a few months back when I had been wondering what H was doing. I have found my self think about what we had a lot recently, wondering to myself if he was the one that got away
"Besides being here for work,I'm also able to catch up with old friend's" I say.

"I think we can work something out that can help us both do our jobs" Horatio says
"And what would that be pretty boy?" I say using a old nickname I know annoyed him,H smiles slightly at that
"You known I never liked you calling me that"
"Why not, it suits you" I tell him
"Let's just get to work" Horatio says standing up.

"Okay where do we start" I ask also standing up
"I can give you the files we have on Karl Banks and you can see what info you can find out. There might be something there that could be useful" Horatio says as we head back out of the room,as we head down the corridor to get the files I decided to ask H
"Does your son know about us?"

"No he doesn't, and he has no need to" Horatio says
"That makes sense, I mean why does he need to know about your relationship's before his mother" I say"Are you still with his mother? "
"No and we weren't exactly together either" Horatio tells me
"Ah I see"  we arrived at the storage room where all the previous case files are kept and H looked for the ones needed.

"Is their anyone I should know about?" Horatio asks looking for a box
"No,not married not got no kids either. I've not even been on a date in five years" I admit, Horatio turns to face me,it looked like he was going to say something more but we are interrupted by the arrival of his son
"Dad have you got a minute, we need you to look at something?"
"Go ahead,I can deal with these files" I tell H,who then follows after his son"I wonder what he was going to say"I think to myself as I begin to look threw the boxes.
