December 18th | Evening

Chan knew he was behaving like an ass. Which he didn't really wanted at all, but he was tired and annoyed. Annoyed that his mother had forced him to take care of her best friend's son.

Apart from that, he didn't have the best relationship with his parents. Which could be because his mother in particular was a terribly uppish person who was way too focused on material wealth. And Chan knew from her best friend that she was exactly the same. Which was why he feared that her son was similarly shitty.

He had really tried not to be guided by prejudices and false assumptions, but when he had seen the younger with his two huge suitcases, his mood was instantly tipped.

In addition, he had to drive to the airport to pick him up and now had to drive all the way back, while the others were having fun.

He looked furtively to the side and saw that Felix had leaned against the window with a rather sad face and closed eyes.

Sighing softly, he shook his head. Normally he was polite and accommodating, but today he had shown his worst side and apparently hurt the younger one with it.

But he didn't really know how to make up for it, so he concentrated on the road and on being back with the others as soon as possible. Maybe Jisung or Changbin had advice for him.

When they were quite a bit away from Seoul, it started to snow pretty hard again, which meant that they could only drive slowly.

Chan was tempted to wake up the younger one, who must have never seen snow in his life, but he decided not to.

Felix certainly already had a completely wrong image of him and that was certainly not the right way to change that.

Despite the throttled pace, they arrived at their destination about 90 minutes later, with Felix sleeping the entire ride. Maybe he just pretended, Chan didn't knew.

After he had parked, he put a hand on Felix's shoulder and shook him gently, which caused the younger one to startle from sleep.

"We're here."

Yawning, Felix nodded and got out of the car without saying a word.

Sighing, Chan followed him.

His guilt disappeared instantly when he lifted Felix's suitcase out of the trunk and wondered again why the blond had brought so much stuff with him.

Although he was also annoyed with himself at the same time. Actually, he wasn't an angry person and didn't simply condemn others from the start.

Maybe it just wasn't a good day for him. He also didn't understood why Felix, without really doing anything, triggered him so much.

With some difficulty, Felix followed him with his two suitcases across the snowy ground.

"There are two free bedrooms up there, choose one. The others are in the living room. If you like, you can join when you've unpacked."

With that he disappeared further back into the house and left a somewhat perplexed Felix standing in the hall.

Tired, irritated and also somewhat frustrated, Felix looked after the black-haired.

If his friends were similarly unfriendly, it would be a terrible vacation for him. It wasn't as if he had imposed himself to stay with them. He had been forced by his parents to come here.

Angrily, he clenched his teeth and tried not to burst into tears.

He heard laughter, from further back from the hut, which to be honest looked more like a large luxury hostel. Since there was no reception, he simply assumed that the cabin was only inhabited by Christopher and his friends.

Just after he had taken off his shoes and the way too thin jacket and wanted to go up the stairs with the first suitcase, he heard footsteps approaching.

For a moment he froze, like an animal in the spotlight, without knowing exactly why. Annoyed at himself, he shook his head and turned around.

In front of him stood a tall, slim, damn handsome man with blond hair tied into a loose ponytail and watched him curiously.

"Hi..." Felix said softly, fearing that he would be snapped at by the next person.

"Hey. Do you want me to help you?"

Felix nodded in surprise and a narrow smile appeared on his lips.

Without hesitation, the blonde grabbed Felix's second suitcases and climbed up the stairs behind him.

"The two rooms in the back are still free. Oh and by the way, I'm Hyunjin."

Now a real smile appeared on Felix's lips and he bowed slightly. "Nice to meet you. I'm Felix."

Hyunjin returned the bow with a wide smile on his lips and then disappeared behind one of the doors.

Felix shook his head thoughtfully and just stood there for a moment. But finally he decides to choose a room and made his way to the free rooms with the first suitcase.

The first door he opened revealed a bathroom. Surprised, he shook his head and opened the door opposite.

Because he was tired and no longer really motivated, he decided to simply take the room and not look any further.

Curious, he went inside and turned on the light. And although he had already seen downstairs that the hut was luxurious, he still didn't expect such a beautiful, large room.

He left the suitcase at the door and walked over to the window. He couldn't really see much outside, but the snow glittered on the surrounding trees and somehow that filled him with some happiness.

"You forgot the second suitcase," he heard at that moment from the direction of the door, which was why he turned away from the beautiful view and turned around.

"I wasn't that quick," he said apologetically and shrugging his shoulders.

Grinning, Hyunjin pushed the suitcase into the room and let himself fall on the double bed without asking.

Undecided, Felix stood in the room and didn't knew what to do. He didn't feel uncomfortable in Hyunjin's vicinity, but after Christopher's unfriendly reception, he was somehow insecure.

Hyunjin seemed to have less thought about the presence of the younger and had to laugh when he saw the helpless expression on Felix's face.

"Oh dear, was Chan such an ass to you? Actually, he's quite sweet, sometimes he just comes across a little grumpy," he chuckled and patted on the bed next to him so that Felix would sit down next to him.

Uncertain, Felix sat down. "Chan?"

"The guy who picked you up from the airport."

"I thought his name was Christopher..."

"Mhm his name is Christopher Chan Bang," Hyunjin replied and raised his eyebrows with a grin.

"Oh... how are the others?" Felix asked quietly, not knowing exactly why he trusted Hyunjin. But although he still felt a little insecure, he still had the feeling that he could ask the question.

"Oh, they are actually all very sweet. All a bit special in their own way, but actually quite peaceful. Mostly."

Giggling, Hyunjin jumped out of bed, grabbed Felix's hand and pulled him up. "It's best if you just get to know them and get a picture of them yourself. Makes more sense as if I tell you everything."

The uncertainty appeared again in Felix's stomach, but Hyunjin simply dragged him with him.

Laughter and loud screams could be heard from the living room, which actually sounded nice, but the uncertainty in Felix just didn't want to disappear.

"Come on. They're all really sweet. You just have to get to know them first."

Felix nodded hesitantly and let the older blonde pull him into the living room. For a moment, everyone fell silent when Hyunjin entered the room with Felix, but it didn't really last long.

Felix stood as if rooted next to the older, who smiled encouraging at him. "Go ahead, you bums! Behave for once and introduce yourself" Hyunjin shouted playfully at them.

"Hi, I'm Jeongin, but most people call me Innie."

"Changbin. Nice that you're here."

"Hi. I am Seungmin"

"The clown of the group," chuckled the one who had introduced himself as Changbin, for which the other punched him on the shoulder.

"I am Minho."

"Hello. My name is Jisung. Or Han."

Felix nodded and had to hide a smile. They had all introduced themselves in English, which had really just sounded cute. Maybe the boys were nicer than he thought.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Felix," he said in broken Korean.

Astonished, he noticed that the others were staring at him, which made him feel insecure again.

"Did I say something wrong?" he asked Hyunjin in English.

He just shook his head with a grin. "No, it's because of your ass deep, hot voice."

"Oh," with crimson red cheeks, Felix lowered his gaze, as he didn't know where to look.

"Okay, anyway, we were actually discussing whether we wanted to play cards now or watch a movie before you came," Changbin explained, while Hyunjin let himself fall on the sofa and pulled Felix with him.

"Let's go with the movie. We all just arrived here today and are tired. It'll be better from tomorrow on," suggested Hyunjin and since no one had anything against it, the blonde chose a film without further ado and snuggled up on the sofa.

The others followed his example and soon sat there all snuggled up, focusing on the events on the screen.

Felix, on the other hand, found it difficult to follow the movie. He spoke Korean reasonably well and understood it, but somehow he was just too tired for that.

More and more often his eyes closed and finally he sank against Hyunjin's shoulder. Who just looked at him for a moment and finally pulled his blanket over the younger.

Only when the movie was over he woke him up again.

Sleepy, Felix straightened up and apologized ashamed. But Hyunjin just shook his head. "You don't have to apologize. I'm sure the day was exhausting for you."

Yawning, Felix nodded and was pulled upstairs to the bedrooms by Hyunjin shortly afterwards.

For a moment he was annoyed that he hadn't unpacked his clothes, but then decided to just sleep in a loose shirt that he found quickly and boxer shorts and fell into bed deadly tired.
