You know it's hard to believe that there are over 2 billion Christians in the world. That's 2,000,000,000 with 9 zeroes! I mean, the number seems big! If we look at ourselves though are we really Christians? Because we can say with our mouth that we are Christians but that doesn't make us Christians.

Are we Christians? Do we show the love to others that Jesus shows us? Do we spend everyday showing the love of Christ within us? Do we love others so much that they can see something within us and see that there is something unique about us? Can they see Jesus in us? I would like to believe that Christians as a whole have shown the message but so many of us have not. So many of us today say we are Christians, but we do not give our all to Jesus. So many of us today say we are Christians, yet we do not live our life for Jesus. So many of us today say we are Christians, yet we don't act like Jesus. I know we aren't perfect but can't we do better?

Because I honestly hate it when a "Christian" says to someone that he is going to hell because he does not go to church every Sunday. I honestly hate it when a "Christian" says to someone that he is going to hell because he is a homosexual or a transgender. I honestly hate it when a "Christian" says to someone that he has done so wrong so there is no forgiveness for him! Is that what we want Christianity to look like? Let me tell you if God has no forgiveness for you he has no forgiveness for me but the truth is he has forgiveness for me, you, and everyone who wants it! And for all the people that believe in God and accept him yet still fear that they are going to hell read John 3:16! ""For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever BELIEVES in him should not perish but have eternal life". You don't have to worry about whether or not you are going to hell because God paid the price for you and that is the beauty of it!

BUT SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE! Because imagine if all 2 billion people loved like Jesus loved and lived like Jesus lived. Wouldn't that make such a difference in the world? Even one person who loves in a room filled with people who hate can make a difference! We have the chance to use our lives and do something with them; to show that Jesus is real! To show the love of Jesus! We are the children of GOD! It does not matter what you do, do it to serve the lord and act in a way so that people notice something special and unique about you!

Are we sharing the gospel? Because right now the world is filled with people who have no hope. There are people who are hurting. There are people who are lost. There are people who are scared. There are people who feel guilty. There are people who don't have faith. There are people who doubt. THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO DON'T BELIEVE AND WE NEED TO TELL THEM THE GOOD NEWS IN SUCH A DARK PLACE!

So let me ask you this personally to each Christian reading: Are you a Christian? Are you shining your light to where people know you are a Christian, to where they can see Jesus in you? Are you showing the love to others that Jesus has shown you? Because, I have messed up on all of these. One thing I have learned is that I can do better. We can all do better. We may fall but we get right back up! WE ARE CHRISTIANS! I know it looks bad now to where it looks like Christianity is losing hope and people are turning against it but remember, When things get bad that is when Jesus shows up and he is there for every single one of you!

WE ARE CHRISTIANS! CHILDREN OF GOD!

I guess you could say this chapter was more motivational. This is sort of how I feel with Christianity today and I wanted to talk about it. I know this gave me something to think about and I hope it gave you something to think about too! I hope that this can get us motivated to get out there and spread the good news any way we can! God loves you!
