Part 24 Out of Syllabus

AR

Arnav walked to his cabin after meeting a client. He got stuck, seeing Shyam in front of him. Shyam also stood looking at him. Shyam smiled at Arnav and he reciprocated. They crossed each other and headed to their respective cabins. Shyam turned towards Arnav's cabin before getting into his cabin and was annoyed seeing his sister entering in.

Arnav tightened his jaws, seeing Simran entering his room without getting his permission. Simran was keenly watching his facial expression. She believed after knowing Shyam and Anjali's interest in each other, Arnav won't be so tough towards her. But he was Arnav Singh Raizada after all.

"What are you doing here?" he sneered.

"I just..."

"Your father's cabin is next to the reception. Go..."

"I know... I came to meet you"

Arnav folded his hands.

"My brother and your sister are going to..."

Cutting her,

"My sister said no to the marriage. Didn't you hear correctly?"

"Yeah... why not WE make it possible?"

"I won't do anything if my sister is not interested"

"Don't you want her to be happy?"

"She is already happy with us"

"But... she deserves a good man like my Bhai. If you cooperate with me, I will definitely get her married to my Bhai"

"If my sister wants to get married, I can make it possible by hook or by crook. I don't need anyone's help. You can go"

"What I'm saying is..."

"I said get out..." he yelled.

"This is how will you treat a girl?" tears rolled down her cheeks.

"I have no time to give ear to your nonsense"

"I Love you so much Arnav"

Arnav rolled his eyes with irritation.

"If you don't understand the love in front of you, you can't get it when you want it, Arnav. You are spoiling your sister's life too. She is not ready to marry my Bhai only because of you. she is even ready to sacrifice her happiness for you but you are not ready to even think about her happiness. Your one YES will solve all our problems. You don't have to worry about my Dad. He won't interfere in to any of your matters and let you be free. Trust me... after our marriage, I will even make him stay away from AR"

They looked at the entrance as Shyam opened the door and looked at Simran angrily.

"What the hell are you doing here?"

"I'm trying to make Arnav understand me, Bhai"

"Come with me..."

"Bhai, please, you stay away from this. I'm trying to get you a good life with Anju"

"You just keep quiet. Don't make it complicated"

"Bhai, please let me talk to him..."

"Excuse us, Arnav"

Clutching her hand, Shyam dragged her with him.

"Arnav, you will get to know the depth of my love soon. You will repent for insulting my love... mark my words..."

When Shyam came with Simran, they saw Arvind and Rajeev standing. Simran rushed to Rajeev and cried hugging him.

"Dad, I love him a lot Dad... he is not even understanding me. What's my mistake Dad? Is loving him deeply wrong? I won't live without him Dad"

"Arvind, please save my daughter's life," Rajeev said emotionally.

Arvind stood helplessly.

"Dad, will you take her home?" Shyam asked.

"I want to talk to Arnav," Rajeev said.

"I will talk to him... you go home"

Rajeev shook his head whereas Simran looked at Shyam thankfully. They left the place. Shyam sighed.

"Make him understand, Shyam" Arvind walked to his cabin.

Shyam knocked on Arnav's cabin. Arnav opened the door tightening his jaws, instead of saying GET IN. He might have expected Simran. Seeing Shyam, Arnav turned opposite to him.

"If you are here to talk about your sister..."

Cutting him,

"I'm sorry, Arnav. I'm apologizing for her behavior." Shyam said.

"This is why Di is not ready to accept you," Arnav said wearily.

"I know... Anju doesn't like Simran"

"She created a lot of problems in RM when she stayed there. Then how would Di like her? Will you say Di is wrong?"

"I can never say Anju is wrong because I know who is wrong"

"Then how can I get Di married to you? Do you think your sister will let her live peacefully?"

"No... she won't but why are you guys bothering about my sister instead of considering me?" he asked calmly.

"Is not she a part of your lives?"

"Maybe... but who is going to be with her?"

"What do you mean? You are going to France. After that, Di will have to be with her, right?"

"What do you think, Arnav? Why would I want to take the French deal? To show my ability? No... I would like to take Anju with me... for away from my family."

Arnav raised his brows.

"Neither I leave her here with my father and sister nor with your parents. She will be with me if she marries me. I believe she will marry me"

"What about your father? What if he doesn't agree to send Di with you?"

"Who is waiting for his permission? I don't have to get anyone's permission to be with my wife."

Arnav smiled slightly.

"I promise... Anju will be happy with me"

Arnav became thoughtfully.

"Don't think I will force you to marry my sister after our marriage. I know forcing you to marry Simran might be possible but we can't force you to make her happy." Shyam chuckled.

"I wish your father and sister understand that" Arnav smiled.

"They will understand one day"

"I don't believe it..." Arnav said wearily.

Shyam sighed and walked to the door. He stopped, clutching the doorknob, and looked at Arnav, turning his face.

"I so want to be close to not only my wife but also to my Sale Sahib," Shyam said lovingly which made Arnav stuck for a while. He raised his brows getting amazed.

"Love makes people live in DREAMLAND... is not it?"

Arnav could not answer. What did he answer if the question was OUT OF SYLLABUS? How could he answer when he didn't know anything about the weird feeling called LOVE?

"I will not hurt you in any way Arnav because I know what you mean to Anju"

"I don't know what to say. But you should understand one thing. Di wants you to prove yourself trustworthy. Until then, she won't accept you"

Shyam smiled.

"Thank you for hinting me at something that will be helpful for me to reach my DESTINY"

Shyam left his cabin. Arnav sat on his seat thinking about Shyam. He was so relieved. It seems he was genuinely in love with Anjali. That's why he had been dreaming about his life with not only Anjal but also with his Sale Sahib. And he liked the assurance given by Shyam. Arnav smiled. He almost forgot about Simran.

Damn... how different this brother and sister were...! Both were in love...! One was TRULY in love and another one THOUGHT she was in love. One was calm like a deep sea, and another was noisy like the shore. Don't know what their destiny was.

Evening / RM

Khushi was talking with Ratna and Anjali in the living room. Anjali thought something.

"Khushi, your father owned a sweet shop. What about you? Did you learn to make sweets from him?" Anjali asked.

Khushi nodded yes.

"Really?"

"I always was with my Babuji. I didn't learn anything purposely but I have enough experience in making sweets and I will make sweets without effort"

"That's nice..."

"May I prepare something for you?"

"Do you know to prepare Badam Halwa?"

Khushi nodded yes excitedly.

"Could you prepare it?"

"Do you like it?"

"Chotte likes it. I eat everything" Anjali chuckled.

Khushi stood smilingly.

"You go. I will just come" Anjali said.

Khushi again nodded ok and went to the kitchen. Ratna was about to get up from the couch, and Anjali gestured for her to wait.

"What?"

"I need to talk to you" Anjali whispered.

"Tell me"

"What do you think about Chotte?"

Ratna frowned.

"What do I think?"

"Why did his face change when I talk about Khushi's husband?"

"Why?" Ratna smiled.

"Don't you know?"

"I don't know whether I'm right or wrong"

"About what?"

"Do you think, Chotte likes Khushi?"

Anjali nodded yes.

"But, he has not realized it yet I suppose"

"I too think the same" Ratna said.

"What will you do if he likes her?"

"What's there to think? I will readily agree"

"Really?"

"Then what? From where will we get such a Bahu who wants us to be happy with Chotte?"

"I too have doubt about Chotte's feelings. He is not just concerned about Khushi. Something is beyond that and that duffer doesn't realize it" Anjali laughed.

"But, Khushi has no such ideas in her mind. She only has huge respect for Chotte"

"Mmm... nice girl she is...that's why she is not thinking beyond that"

"Why not we make your duffer brother realize it?" Ratna asked.

"Are you really ready to do that?" Anjali asked excitedly.

"I'm ready to do that because the girl is Khushi. After all, she made him talk to me" Ratna said thankfully.

"I'm in... it is going to be fun"

"Fun?"

"Then what? your son is a HERO to bag the deals but he is ZERO when it comes to emotions and feelings"

"You are right..."

"I have a plan and it will surely work"

"Go ahead..."

"Let him come..." Anjali chuckled.

"Chotte... you are gone," Ratna said laughingly.
