~Chapter 13~

"I like the name Emmerlyn."

"Well your opinion is biased and I do not care for it," I say.

"You guys are ridiculous you haven't even been awake for even a hour and your already arguing with each other. Just use both of them, Emmerlyn can be the first and Zahara the middle," Jordan's dad buds in shaking his head but I can see the amusement in his eyes.

"I agree," we say at the same time and I glare at him.

Mrs.Heather walks in and everyone steps back she goes to reach for Emmerlyn and a unwanted growl escapes my mouth. Her eyes widen for a second but she takes a step back and smiles.

"I now know that your wolf is awake. Do you mind telling her to calm down so I can check on you and the pup and have you fill out the rest of the paperwork," she asks still smiling and I nod my head.

"Hey Nadia," I whisper softly.

"I do not want to talk to you."

"I just need you to stop growling at people so they can check the baby she's not going to hurt her."

"Why should I listen to you, you stupid human almost killed us all who says you won't do something stupid again."

"Can't you just listen and trust me."

"I did and I almost died not you but me and my pup."

"Says the dog that only claimed her a few months ago," I spat at her.

Growling at me she bares her teeth and I grow right back, I refuse to have her treat me like some baby mess up. I feel a hand on my shoulder and look up. Jordan standing there with a confused look and his face and I silently thank him for stopping the mess going in my head.

"I'll give her the baby you and your wolf look like you guys are having trouble."

I kiss Emmerlyn's forehead and pass her to Jordan. He walks over to the nurse that I didn't even know walked in and I have to fight my wolf for control. I look towards Mrs.Heather and she starts checking all the machines. Once she's done she writes something on her clip board and leaves coming back not long after with a stack of papers.

At the top of the stack a paper with Emmerlyn's name written in neat fancy handwriting on it. Her name looks fresher than everything else already written down. Before I can actually read what else was written Mrs.Heather explained how they did everything on computers and written just in case something happens to all the records. When everyone leaves the room and it's just me and Jordan I start reading and filling out the paper.

Even after filling out all my information half of the birth certificate was still blank and I honestly didn't know what to do. I looked up at Jordan then back at the paper and then did it again. He didn't seem to notice my dilemma and was smiling at a sleeping Emmerlyn.

"Hey Jordan can I ask you some questions?"

"Yeah sure what you need?"

"When's your birthday?"

"The 16th of April."

"What year?"

"1994."

"Weren't you born in Tampa?"

"Yeah."

"That's it thanks."

I quickly fill in his information before I change my mind. I stare at her name for a couple of seconds not sure if I should change her last name to. My hand moves to the top of the page but before I cross it out I shake my head and turn the page. Time to fill out these discharge papers.

After my shower it's time to go Maki and the boys already start bring all the gifts and stuff to the car while Jordan and July fight over who gets to take the baby to the car. I honestly don't know what makes either of them think that they can take my baby to the car.

"I've known Jamie longer," July whisper shouts.

"Well she's my mate," he says quietly.

"I don't care Emmerlyn's my niece and god daughter so."

"But she's my daughter," he says pointing at himself.

I think I need to handle this before they get louder and wake her up.

"It doesn't mater who you are to her because I'm taking her to the car," I say walking out the bathroom.

I quickly grab her car seat and laugh as I pass the pouting duo. Just like the kids they are they pout and stomp all the way to the parking garage. I get in the back and strap her in then everyone starts fighting over who gets to sit next to her. Maki and July are playing rock paper scissor shot, Maxwell and Jacob are pushing each other out the seat, meanwhile Clark and Jordan are squaring up in the middle of the parking lot.

Luna Amber quickly slides into the empty seat by Emmerlyn and giggles before telling everyone to stop. They all look at where Luna is sitting and begin to shout how that's not fair. Soon the rest of them pile into the other car and we all leave.

The car is quite except for the music playing lowly in the background. July's asleep in the front seat and Luna is on her phone. Jordan's laying on my lap but I'm not a hundred percent sure if he's asleep. I run my fingers through his hair for the first half of the ride but soon enough my eyes start to close and I fall asleep.

I wake to crying and I'm confused but only for a second before getting up and walking over to Emmerlyn's crib. Her little face is scrunched up and red and her hands are in a fist. I pick her only to have the reason she's crying slap me in the face. Her diaper needs changing. I change her quickly and find a Walmart bag to place the use diaper in. Once I'm positive she's back asleep I call on someone to throw the bag away. I cut the lamp on so the room wouldn't be so bright and looked at the time. A quarter pass three I only slept for two hours.

Someone knocks on the door but doesn't wait for me to allow them in. Jordan comes and jumps on my bed making me go in the air before crashing down. He laughs at me and I glare at him.

"Luna and Alpha have called a meeting and they want you there."

"I can't go, I can't leave Emmerlyn here by herself."

"I thought you'd say that so July is on her way up here and I already have a baby monitor in the conference room."

I smiled and nodded already going towards the door. When I opened it July had her hand going towards the door nob. I give her a quick hug before stepping out of her way.

Jordan leads the way to the conference room where all the high status people and their kids wait. He leads me to the seat next to his mom then goes and sits across from me. Once he's sitting down his dad stands up.

"I'm calling this meeting because Jamie is finally awake from her coma and needs to join the pack but my son has also told us some disturbing news that will get to later."

"As you know every pack has a different way for you to join it. In our pack you have to show us that your valuable it doesn't matter in what. It could be cooking, cleaning, fighting, or teaching but it has to be able to help the pack. Then we do the blood ritual to seal the deal." Luna says taking over.

"July and I were warriors in our last pack and July even went to warrior camp this summer."

"Then for the next week you and your friend will be learning different skills form our pack and in return you will teach us some from your old pack then that Sunday you will verse one of our warriors. If our pack doesn't think you are worthy then you and or your friend will be banned from this pack with the markings of a rouge." This time it was the gamma that spoke.

I took in a deep breath that's not a lot of pressure to put on someone at all. Note the sarcasm. I nod my head taking my time to look each of them in the eye me and July can do this.

"Now that you know that I believe you have something you need to tell us all." This time Jordan's voice fills the room.

"I'm not a hundred percent sure this is true but I believe someone is planing on attacking this pack and Luperca pack because of me or more of the fact that if me and my pup are gone it effects both packs. I only know that the person in charge of everything has two spies and I think he has one in both packs. I don't have much information but I'll try to get as much as I can."

"Thank you Jamie for right now all kids are dismissed will talk later."

Not even hours later I hear the sound of feet coming towards my door. When they stop I go and check outside and find four guards standing in front of my door. I close the door and growl lowly to myself I don't need four people watching everywhere I go. I call July back up here and we talk about joining the pack before Emmerlyn wakes up. I feed her and change her diaper before putting on Sofia the First and watch it with her as she falls asleep.

Soon I drift off to sleep happy that she only woke two more times through the night.

Today was Monday and that meant we started training with the pack today. I was tired so very tired. I think that in the few days I've been home with the baby I've only gotten ten hours of sleep, my head is currently pounding, and the guards outside my door have probably had it to the moon and back with me. I absolutely love Emmerlyn with all my heart but I swear if I hear her cry or smell her shit one more time I'm going to go off on somebody and since that person will most likely be Jordan he volunteered to watch her while I practice this week. Isn't he just the bestest mate ever.

"We're here!" Jordan and July shout barging into my room.

"And your late fifteen minutes late to be exact. We're going to be late on our first day of training."

"You act like your not late for everything I remember in fifth grade when you were two hours late to your own birthday party," July says and Jordan laughs.

"Why must you bring up irrelevant things of the past," I say grabbing her arm and pulling her out the room.

We got the training grounds quickly even through July stopped every time she seen a good looking boy.

"Pipe, Herbert you almost twenty minutes late fifty laps now."

As soon as he said that my feet took off July not to far behind. By the 40th lap my chest was burning and my legs where starting to get sore. July finished a whole lap before me and that was when I realized that I'm rusty as fudge no shade for July through. When the gamma seen us both finish he called us to the center with the rest of the group.

"Our pack focuses mostly on fighting in wolf form and senses we do work on human combat but not as often as wolf, what was the main thing your pack worked with Jamie."

"We worked on human combat and weapons. Depending on when you shift you learn you sense training for two years me and July both shifted young. Our old pack didn't have many she-wolf Warriors because not many of us can shape shift but my father taught me when I first shifted and I taught July."

Everyone looked impressed shape shifting is a hard thing to do. It takes most wolves at least a minute to shift and that's why most packs have some warriors in human form and others in wolf form. Shape shifters can shift between human and wolf form in less then a second. Not many packs have shape shifters and no one knew that the Luperca pack had any and that's why we where number one. Luperca was at peace with the stronger packs and the packs that we defeated didn't live to tell the tale.

"Well Miss.Pipe and Miss.Herbert looks like we're going to have to teach you how to fight in wolf form so you can put those shape shifting skills to test. YOU HEARD ME EVERYONE I SAID SHIFT!"

That's when the fun began.
