.:Five:.
The inky blackness that was Lillian's unconsciousness slowly dissolved, giving way to a throbbing pain at the base of her skull. A small groan left the throat of disoriented Lillian, as she slowly blinked her eyes open. Staring at the blurry ceiling, her mind swam as she tried to recall everything that had happened. She vaguely remembered running and laying in the snow. Gasping she grabbed the sides of her head as the image of brilliant emerald eyes seared into her consciousness.
"Good you're awake."
Whipping her head up, Lillian swiftly looked to the person who spoke. His voice was soothing and deep; like melted chocolate, dripping from his tongue. Lillian looked him over as he casually sat next to her bed. Her eyes drank in everything about the man before her; until she studied his eyes, she knew those eyes. Lillian made a mental note to ask him why he was there in that alleyway, but she decided to wait and see what the man before her would willingly tell her. Lillian moved passed observing his eyes, to take the time to study his other features.
With his tousled dirty blonde hair and striking green eyes, it was easy to see that he was very handsome. With a straight nose and a strong squared jaw, with just the slightest peppering of dark blonde stubble. His lips looked perfect; not overly thin, but with a perfect cupid bow. His pale but clear of blemishes ivory skin gave him an air of being something inhuman. High cheek bones were the feature that gave him that boyish charm look. The longer that she looked upon his person the more something familiar called to her about him.
"Who are you?" The question left her lips without much thought from her. Maybe he was just a good Samaritan that was helping a young woman out.
"Lillian, you gave us a good right scare you know."
The sweet high pitch statement came from across the room. Snapping her head in the direction of the voice, Lillian saw the woman that she could only assume the voice belonged too. Lillian was stunned as the woman before her had to one of the most beautiful women that she had ever seen in her short life. The woman's bright red hair hung pass her shoulders to her waist like a curtain framing her small lithe body. Big brilliant blue eyes twinkled brightly knowingly like she knew something that Lillian didn't. Freckles dusted her body like a second skin, covering every inch that could be seen, while her full pink lips curled into the biggest smile.
"Well aren't you going to say anything? I know we didn't scare you too bad. I know Roman can be a bit intimidating. But trust me, my brother is harmless!" Her light teasing was full of mirth. With her face covered in her obvious confusion, Lillian glanced to the only person that could be Roman, eyes closed as he shook his head.
"Mia, subtly isn't your forte, is it?" He asked his question as he stared at his sister.
