"We'll go right," Logan said.

"T-Toward the spiders?!" Patton whispered fearfully, his eyes wide.

"We will be fine Patton," Logan started down the path, followed closely by Thomas.

"I'll protect you Padre!" Roman drew his sword.

Deceit and - surprisingly - Remus went without a word. Virgil was about to follow them, but paused.

"Pat?" Virgil started. "I, uh, you can walk with me if you want?"

"Can Roman walk with us too?" Patton asked with puppy-dog eyes.

Virgil and Roman glanced at each other, then nodded. Together, the three of them went to catch up with the others.

A short while later, Patton felt something crawl up his arm. When he looked there was a huge, fuzzy black spider with glowing red eyes.

"SPIDER!" Patton screeched.

Virgil immediately jumped into action, taking the spider off Patton and placing it in a nearby tree. Patton clung onto Roman, shaking like a leaf.

"Patton!" Thomas yelled, leading the others over, "Are you okay?"

Patton nodded. "C-Can we just get out of here?"
