The sides walked and walked and walked. The path didn't seem to have an end.
"I feel like we're going in circles!" Virgil yelled after a half hour.
"I'm sure it's just your imagination," Logan sighed.
"No, I'm pretty sure we've passed that twisty tree before," Thomas said.
"It's a forest, there are many twisty trees," Logan tried to rationalize.
"Are we lost Logan?" Patton asked quietly.
"No, we're not lost," Logan said, getting slightly frustrated. "We just need to keep walking."
"We're definitely going in circles," Roman sighed.
"And how would you know?" Logan snapped.
Roman pulled his sword out of the trunk of a tree. "I left this here five minutes ago."
"It was then the sides realized that they were trapped in this place," The Narrator said. "Forever."
"What!?" Patton and Virgil yelled at the same time.
"This is bad," Thomas whimpered.
"We'll be fine," Deceit said.
The sides and Thomas felt a pull to follow the path. Patton held on to Virgil as they struggled not to take steps forward. Roman had dug his sword into the ground to try and keep himself from moving, Remus tried the same with his mace next to him.
The Narrator started to speak again. "The sides knew it was fruitless to try and resist."
"I'm sorry," Logan said, a tear trailing down his cheek.
"They were doomed to forever walk in the forest," The Narrator finished. "The End."
