Virgil growled slightly. "Fine. Logan wins."

"Perfect," Logan said.

Virgil rolled his eyes, huddling into his hoodie. The six of them made their way down the path. Patton huddled close to Virgil as they walked. They kept seeing things out of the corner of their eyes.

And Remus wasn't helping much either.

"Say, what if the trees could eat us?" Remus smirked. "Which one of us will die first and will we eat him? I wonder who's going to snap first?"

"Me!" Roman snipped, glaring at his brother. "I already have to listen to you in the Mindscape!"

Remus laughed loudly, startling the others.

"Ssshut up!" Deceit growled, his hiss slipping through.

Patton leaned a little closer to Virgil. "Is this what it was like with the others?"

Virgil rubbed his temple.  "Yes but with more creepy arms and deodorant eating."

"Oh," Patton nodded, eyeing the dark trees surrounding them.

Virgil rolled his eyes. "And that's not even including - "

"Before Virgil could spoil anything," The Narrator said. "The sides saw a figure dart out of the trees."

As the Narrator spoke, a figure ran into the road in front of them, something in their hand glinting in the moonlight.
