Gulf blink his eyes slowly as he felt his whole body is numb.
His vision was foggy and he blink more and slowly his vision became clear.

He saw his right arm has an IV fliud running to it. He tried to move but he saw Mew was holding his hand as he is asleep on the side of his bed.

Gulf smiled a little because he know he will receive a hard scolding later for what he did.

He didn't planned it though, but he act in instinct to protect his love.

He slowly played with Mew's soft brown locks.

He caress it for a long time, he vaguely hear Mew's voice in his deep slumber, he was calling him, begging him to wake up.

Mew felt someone was touching his hair, He slowly opened his eyes and look around, and the feeling of relief and happiness poured into him as he saw Gulf was finally awake.

"Baby, thank God! Are you okay? Are you in pain? I'll call the doctor to let them know that you are awake." He gives Gulf a quick peck on his lips before he rush through the door.

Gulf's eyes darted on the close door, he didn't know what time he was asleep. His body cant feel anything yet, maybe the anesthesia is still working on him.

Doctor Sing come inside and he check everything on me.

"You can feel pain after the effect of anesthesia is gone, but all in all, you are okay now, I am Hoping for your fast recovery Director."

Gulf just nodded and smile at him. His voice was raspy and hoarse so he rather remain silent.

After Dr. Singto left, Mild remain.

"We are all worried of you Gulf, I want to talk to you but duty calls and I know Phi Mew here wants to talk to you too, I'll call our friends to let them know that you are awake." Mild said holding his chart on his chest.

"Please let our Mommies know, nong Mild." Mew said as he settled himself beside Gulf.

Mild just nodded and he get out.

Mew look at Gulf with a sharp glare.

"Why did you do it?"

"Love, calm down, first things first. I want to freshen up, I feel sticky and I want to brush my teeth." Gulf said, he really cant stand feeling sticky all over.

Mew helped him in the bathroom, then he wipe Gulf's body with a wet cloth and he brushes Gulf's teeth.

Then after that he change Gulf with his own shirt and sweat pants, careful not to remove the IV.

Then he settled Gulf back on his bed.
"Now, you dont have excuses. You are clean and fresh. Answer me. Why did you do it? What do you think I would feel?"

"Remember before that happened, we had a fight? You didn't accept my help, and that moment that I saw Art will shoot you, without hesitation I am willing to help you.. Loving you means dying for you, love, and I never regretted that I do that because if you were shot, and I saw you bathe with your own blood, I will be crazy."

Mew felt his heart tighten.
"Please... Whatever will happen in the future God forbid, dont harm yourself for me.. I'm not worth your life."

"You are worth it love, everything on you are worth it for me, Im sorry if I scared you, If ever it will happen again, I wont hesitate to do the same action."

"Scared word was underrated baby. I am more than terrified, I cant even move you. Agent Run helped me all along. And your Mom even slapped me, but its okay, I deserved it."

Gulf reach for Mew's hand and he saw his engagement ring in his finger.

He raise his hand and look at the ring.

"You put it back."

"It belongs to your hand baby."

"Let's get married soon love."

"How soon baby? Hmm?" Mew kisses Gulf's hand and the ring on it.

"After I recover, we will find a wedding planner to be easy..."

"I will let Nong Stu do that, he has connections." Mew stand up and lean down to capture Gulf's lips, who gladly parted and accepted his kisses.

They are both enjoying the kiss when a number of throat clearing echoed the room.

Both of them look at the door and everyone was awkwardly standing there.

Bright and Win has a basket of fruits. While Mild and Boat holds a get well soon balloons, and their parents is holding a bag of food from a famous restaurant.

Mew scratch his head in embarrassment. "Come in people." But he manage to smile at them.

"I know My son is okay now but I didn't expect you eating each other's faces in the hospital bed." Dr. Traipippatanapong tease them.

"Mom, I'm so embarrassed, please stop it." Mew pouted.

Gulf felt happy that Mew and his mother now was doing okay.

Everyone was enjoying talking and eating on Gulf's private room when he decided to ask a sensitive question.

"Can anyone here tell me, what happened to Art?"

Gulf's mother answered him because no one dares to talk about it.
"He's been transfered to a mental institution in the US."

"Really? Is it really that bad?" Gulf felt somewhat guilty.

"Cousin, he almost killed you. That was bad." Win rolled his eyes.

"I am partly to be blamed though. Before he warned me once to stay away from Mew but I even provoke him even though I noticed that something was wrong with him. I still trust him when he ask me if we can talk. I give him a chance to do that bad thing. I feel sorry for him." Gulf stares on his lap as he played with his ring.

"He threatened you?" Gulf's Dad ask eyes darted on Mew.

"Yes, he said he just dont designed a building, he can throw someone off of a building, if my memory serves me right."

Everyone in the room gasped.

"Baby why you didn't tell me about it?" Now, Mew's guilt feeling doubled.

"It happened a year ago, we are no together again yet then after that, he acts civil to me so I didn't take it seriously, and Dad, one of the reasons he is angry with me because you buy their shares in Suankularb Wittayalai School, Why?"Gulf look at his father intently.

"Mr. Juanchainat personally offered it to me, I saw it is doing good and he needs money so I bought it. I am an investor, business is business."

"And how is he?"

"He is under home arrest now because he got stroke and now a paralyzed man, karma is really a bitch." Mild smirk.

"And your company's status?"

"Everything is alright baby, dont stress your self, I'll go outside, I'll call nong Stu."

Mew get out leaving Gulf happily talking to everyone. Thank God he is okay.

He stand beside the door and called nong stu.

"Sawadee nong stu,"

"Hi boss, is director Kana okay?"

"Yes, He's fine now. Can you do something for me?" He nervously look at the door. This will be a secret.

Nong Stu went silent and he listen.

"I want you to find a wedding organizer or planner, and i want to throw a small get well soon party to Gulf and that will be an announcement on our wedding day."

"Sure, perfect I know someone who can do that." Nong Stu's voice turn to a soft one.

Mew laugh. Looks like his assistant is inlove.

"I want everything to be ready the day after tomorrow okay?"

"Copy, boss."
Nong stu chuckle, and he drop the call.

Mew look at his phone as he stares at his assistant's name.

Who was this someone? He laugh to himself as he realized that he was into hot gossips these days.

He get back on the room, and sit beside Gulf who immediately intertwined their hands.

"I love you..."Mew whispered to him.

"Don't say it often love, it will lost its meaning..." Gulf closes their distance as he give Mew a quick peck on his lips.

Gulf silently thank God for this second life.
