I.B's POV
Ziri was put in my car as Avery and I quickly packed our things and jumped into the car. Everywhere was soaked with blood; Avery was the most affected as she held the material tied to his head to reduce the rate at which blood was pouring out. Her face was filled with fear and worry; she had lots of bruises but didn't even notice them.

We drove to the nearest hospital and he was admitted immediately. I quickly put on my shirt for decency as I took care of the expenses.

"Don't worry about it I've already taken care of everything you can go get dressed in my car. The windows are tinted and its better". I offered.

"Thank you" she said quietly

"You're welcome" I replied

Avery's POV
What just happened? What did I just do? I can't believe I caused a scene and now Ziri is suffering for it. I was angry, sad, scared at the same time confused on what to do next.

I.B allowed me to change in his car despite it current condition and all these could have been avoided if I didn't react violently. I just hope Ziri would be alright. I suddenly heard someone's phone ring and I noticed it was Ziri's and it showed LOML👑💝💘; I picked it up and heard Mia's voice.

"Hey Babe"

"Its Avery"

"Okay? Where is Ziri?" she asked

"Ziri had an accident and he is currently in the hospital"

"What?" She screamed

"Where is he? Send the address immediately" she demanded

"Okay"

"I'm on my way" she hung up

I texted the address and dressed up immediately.

I packed a pair of black sweatpants, a navy blue T-shirt and a pair of Nike slides so I quickly put them on. I packed up my blood stained trunks and brought out my towel to clean myself up.

When I was done I grabbed my phone and left my things in the car. I quickly ran to the reception and asked I.B if there was any update on Ziri's case.

"How much are the expenses?" I asked the receptionist

"Its 90,000 naira in total ma'am but don't worry about it the gentleman over there already covered the expenses" she said

"Thank you" I said as I walked to I.B

"Thank you so much for covering the expenses. What's your account number let me transfer the money" I asked

He looked at me in shock then quickly recovered as he cleared his throat

"There's no need to pay back besides I was the main reason the fight broke out" he said

Of course he was; I almost gpt killed because of that lunatic over there.

"That doesn't mean I shouldn't pay you back" I said with a sense of irritation in my voice

"Take it as a favor" he said

"I dont take favors" I raised my voice

"Okay, just take it as a way of apologizing for the incident that took place" he argued

"You already apologized by driving us to the hospital and allowing me change in your car" I snapped back

He became dumbfound and gave up.

"So what bank do you use?" I asked

"Zenith bank" he said quietly

I transferred the money into his account and went into the waiting room.

As the doctor stepped out of Ziri's room I quickly rushed to him and I.B followed.

"How is he?"

"He is okay and lucky. He didn't have an internal bleeding or any internal injury"

"Thank you doctor" I said happily

"You're welcome now let's take a look at those bruises on your body" he suggested

"Okay sir" I agreed as I walked into the observation room.

I noticed I.B followed me into the room and took a seat.

The doctor told the nurse to take care of my injuries and when she was done she checked me up.

"For someone so young and curvy you sure are light for your age" she teased

I heard I.B laugh behind me

"Maybe she's just cautious of her shape" he said

"Well I'm not surprised. That's what attracts guys like you" she clapped back.

I suddenly burst into laughter and he was quiet.

"Young man let me take a look at this bruise right here" she said to I.B was she was done with me.

I sat down close to him as she dressed his wounds she then left the room to get some supplies.

He looked at my right hand and noticed my star shaped birth mark.

"A rare birthmark for a unique lady" he said

"You don't learn your lesson do you?" I said

"No I dont and i thought you were used to me because I've been like this since secondary school" he laughed then became silent. (Awkward)

"I need to check on Ziri" I said as I quickly left the room.

I checked the time and realized it was 5:50p.n and I had a meeting at the hotel by 7:00pm.

As I went to the reception to find his room I saw a worried Mia running towards my direction.

'Avery!' she shouted as we both embaraced

"What happened to you and where is Ziri" she asked

"Don't worry about me I'll tell you everything later let's just go and meet Ziri" I said as we both went into his room.

"Arghhh" I heard as we entered the room.

Ziri was sitting upright but was in pain as Mia rushed to his side to help him out.

"Mia its okay and what are you doing here?" He asked

"So you're not happy to see me?" She asked

"No I didn't mean that way I just-" he was running short of words and it was funny

"Do you havw a side chick here or what?" She asked

Ziri was as shocked as I was as I burst into laughter. I knew Mia ans Ziri's relationship was a crazy one but his facial expression at his girlfriend's expression was out of this world.

"No now, how cpuld you think that I knew you could think outside but-"

"I'm so sorry you almost gave me a heart attack" she said

"Its okay besides I didn't want you to see me in this condition" he said calmly

"Its okay" she said as he leaned to kiss her before I rudely interrupted like a child who didn't want to feel weird and grossed out.

"What happened to you?" She asked

"Nothing serious, I just- "I had a fight" I interrupted Ziri

"What? How-"
"Mia I would explain everything after we leave the hospital. I want to go home and Avery has an appointment for 7:00p.m right? he winked at me.

I'm surprised he remembered my meeting after all that happened.

"Yes I do" I replied

I'll go ask the doctors to discharge him" I said as I left the room.

I.B's POV

I'm such an idiot; why did I bring up memories from secondary school when half of her secondary school life was runied because of me. I owe her and apology and I needed to see how Ziri was doing (more of an excuse to sew her) what is wrong with me

I ignored my stupid thoughts and went to the reception to ask for Ziri's room number. On my way I saw Ziri, Avery and an unfamiliar woman walking out of Ziri's room; I quickly walked up to them.

"Mia I'm fine I just hit my head that's all" Ziri grumbled

"No you're not and stop making excuses because nothing is stopping me from watching you this night" she said

"I'm not arguing" he smiled mischievously

"You're very lucky you have that bump on your head otherwise I would have smacked you" Mia said

"I know how lucky I am" he teased

I made a sound to let them know they weren't alone and looked at Avery. She didn't mind what they were doing and found it funny.

"I'll go call a cab-"

"No don't worry I'll drive besides we can save costs" I interrupted Avery.

She was about to start a useless argument but Mia beat her to it and in a different way.

"Thank you" she said as I received a glare from Ziri, saw Avery roll her eyes before we all walked to my Car.
