After a lot of explaining, Penny finally comes to terms with what happened and decides to help, because what better things does she have to do.

She leans against the wall of an abandoned warehouse as Freddy throws their textbooks into the air. Billy shoots them down with his lightning, a huge grin on his face.

"Isn't this cool, Penny?" Billy asks her, a smile on his face.

A small smile shows on her face as she realizes how excited Billy was with his new powers. She gives him a thumbs up before he continues destroying the school books.

After they ran out of books to destroy, Penny pushes off the wall and turns to Freddy, "Okay, I'm getting hungry, how about you go get us some food and I'll continue testing our Billy's stuff."

The teenage boy starts to whine, "But Pennyyyyyy."

She raises an eyebrow, "Yes Freddy."

It dawns on Freddy on how angry she could still be about keeping this whole thing a secret and quickly nods.

"Uh. Never mind. Of course. Yeah. Um. Taco Bell sound good? Of course it does. Um yeah. Have fun," he quickly says, hurrying away as fast as his crutch allows him to.

Penny smiles and turns to Billy, "Okay, now this is the important part. Using these powers for good. Can you turn back to your normal self so I can actually talk to you without being intimidated?"

The grown man lets out a laugh before saying, "Shazam" and turning back into the teenager.

"That's better, now follow me," she says, taking his hand and leading him up the stairs to the top of the building, "Do you know the difference between a villain and a hero?"

Billy shakes his head, a bit confused on where the conversation was going. He follows the small girl to the edge of the roof, overlooking the city. She looks at him, examining his face before continuing.

"Intention. Your intention makes the difference between you being a hero and you being a villain, or just a crappy superhero."

Penny sits down, patting the spot next to her so he can sit down also.

"So you think I'll become a crappy superhero?" Billy asks, a smirk on his face.

She lets out a small laugh before looking over the city again, "I don't know. So far your intentions aren't technically the best, are they?"

The superhero doesn't respond, leading her to say a word that confuses him even more, "Greed."

"Woah. Are you saying I'm greedy? I thought this was supposed to be a pep talk or something, not talking down on me."

Penny quickly reaches out and grabs his hand, "Everyone's greedy, Billy. It's just a small difference to where you let it take over you and be your fall, or if you rise above it."

He stays quiet for a few minutes before looking at her, "You know, you're pretty wise for your age. You're kinda like the old mentor in every superhero movie."

A laugh escapes her lips as she takes her hand away from his, "I guess. I'm just done with people around me succumbing to things that can so easily be avoided."

Billy looks at the green haired girl and puts his hand back in hers, "Well, I won't be one of those people."

"You're not as bad as I thought you were going to be Billy Batson."

"I guess I'll take that as a compliment, Penny Wilson."

The two smile at each other.

"Oh. Okay. I see how it is. Wow!" a voice interrupts behind them, "You send me away to go get food while you guys get some one on one couple shit. Just cast me aside. Oh, Freddy's fine, just get him to get some food. Who cares about him."

Penny quickly whips her head around to see an annoyed Freddy with his hand full of Taco Bell. She smiles and stands up, helping Billy up.

"Just be glad you didn't catch us making out," she snaps back, grabbing the food from him.

"Um. We weren't doing anything. We're not a couple—"

"Take a joke Billy."
