When I got to the music room, all my answers were right in front of me.

I didn't want to believe what I saw because visions can be deceptive, but I was pretty sure my eyes weren't deceiving me.

Zoey and Ryan were making out....!

How could she?!

Does she really hate me to that extent?!

We could have settled our differences calmly, but now she ruined it all!

When Zoey and Ryan noticed I was standing there the whole time, they both froze!

Ryan came to me and started acting innocent.
"Chloe, she's responsible for this! I didn't want to do this, but she forced me".

I just stared at the both of them suspiciously.
I was practically boiling because if Ryan wanted Zoey, then why did he ask me to the dance?

Zoey tried to chime in to make me believe her, "Chloe, don't listen to him! He's a liar! I was tricked into coming here, and he started forcing himself on me!! You have to believe me Chloe!"

" You're such a liar!" Ryan yelled at Zoey.

"You're the one who's lying! You are conspiring against Chloe, so you joined hands with Mackenzie and Jessica!"

"Wow Zoey, bravo!" a tiny voice chimed in, Mackenzie!
She stared at us with her beady little eyes, "I've never seen anyone lie like you do! Just admit it! You have been crushing on Ryan, so when he asked Chloe to the dance, you just had to do something!! "

" That's NOT true Mackenzie! " Zoey yelled in defense.

" It is too! That's why you're trying to turn the tables and twist it all! Chloe, you should know a phony when you see them! " Mackenzie said.

I smelled a rat, namely MACKENZIE!

But I was stuck in a dilemma!

I didn't know who to trust, so I just walked away from the scene and headed for my LSA duties.
I was heartbroken!
I cried a little and got over it!
I guess the good things ain't meant to last.

Zoey also arrived at the library, because she's also an LSA.
"Chloe, you have to believe me!" Zoey said, trying to make me sympathize with HER!

"Just leave it Zoey! Let's just wait for the intern and focus on our work" I said.

She sighed, and nodded her head.

Mrs. Peach came in, and introduced our new LSA partner.
"Alright Chloe and Zoey, the new intern has arrived, so I want you two to make her feel at home, and show her her duties, okay?"

We both nodded in affirmation.

" Come in" Mrs Peach ordered the intern.

NIKKI!!

I was so happy, I gave her a hug!

" Why didn't you tell me you applied for LSA duties?" I asked.

"To be honest, I kinda applied for this by accident. I didn't even know what it was. I was looking for an extracurricular activity, and then I got distracted by SOMEONE, so I applied as an LSA as an extracurricular activity! But I'm so glad you're here!!" Nikki beamed with joy.

"Me too!"

Zoey also greeted Nikki and was acting all nice, pffft!

Just a matter of time, I bet she'll also start treating Nikki unfairly.

Zoey and I showed Nikki around and in no time, she settled in.

We also played around while shelving books

To be honest, Nikki is a really fun person to hangout with.
She's jolly, and funny!
And because of her presence, Zoey and I started getting along!
But of course I haven't forgotten what she DID!

The final bell rang, and school was over.
I was pretty sad about school being over, because I wanted to spend more time with Nikki. But I was also glad it was over, I needed to cool off!

Nikki then invited Zoey and I over, to her house, and we agreed.
I didn't want ZOEY to join us 😒, but it's Nikki's decision.

I still can't get the image of Zoey and Ryan making out, off my mind!!!
