Belle POV

A month's time had passed since the Dark One had relieved me of my service as his servant. I had tried to go home, however I wasn't given the warmest welcome. My father thought the only reason I was back was because I was gathering inside information for the Dark One or I was getting something he desired. Though I tried to tell him that it was not the case, he didn't listen to a word I said. Soon enough, I was on the streets; I worked at a bar when I could to earn as much money as I could. But that was before. Before the Dark Curse, and before I realized I was pregnant with the Dark One's child.

It was the day of the Dark Curse. Little did I know what was  about to happen once the curse was enacted and what already happened. I tried to run for cover, trying to find somewhere, anywhere, in the Enchanted Forest the place I once called home, I now looked for sanctuary against the dreadful curse. But  none could be found. So, I embraced my reality and let the curse take me in. After all what could be worse than this? I already lost the man I loved.

Regina   POV

I smiled wickedly as I left Rumple's estate. True, he should get a new maid now that he cast his last one out, but that's the least of my problems. I knew his latest maid,Belle, was it, was pregnant with his child and I  knew to carry out my desired plans I had to keep it secret. That's exactly what I did. Well, in a sense that is. In Belle's  ninth month, mere days before I was set to cast this curse that had everyone in a panic.

Why? It's beyond me. Anyway, while Belle was sleeping, I quietly snuck into the room at the inn she was staying at and ripped the baby from her womb. I was actually quite proud of myself  for doing that. I mean come on the Dark One's kid, you think Belle would've screamed or summoned Rumplestilskin or something but nope, she slept right through it. So, I left with the baby in my arms and as I moved ever so swiftly in the shadows and silence, I brought the baby to what would be known as a land without magic.
