Chapter 20

"Youngjae, don't forget to eat three meals everyday."

"Okay."

"Your clothes, wash them thoroughly every week."

"Yes..."

"Son, are you even listening to everything I am saying?" Ina asks her son, slowly crossing her arms right after she adjusted his shirt.

"Of course eomma." Youngjae simutaniously taps around on his touchscreen phone, texting something as fast as he could.

"Finish that quickly, don't use your phone on your way. Don't even try listening to your rock music, you're traveling to a far university."

"Eomma, Seoul is not that far from here." Then he gets a hit on his hip from his mother as they walk up to the gates of their house.

"It's not that far unlike Busan, yet you still need to be responsible when it comes to traveling."

"Ow! Ow! Ow! Eomma!" He gets his ear twisted as he made loud banging noises of the metal material from trying to open the gate on their front as quickly as he could.

Few more ups and downs due to the deep stinging feeling because of his mother, he finally managed to open the gate's door.

"Eomma! Let go please!" He yells and finally his mother lets go. Youngjae whines for the stinging pain he feels in his ear.

But then, Ina smiles and gives his son a gentle embrace.

"Be careful okay? You know I care for you because you're the youngest and now I'm not gonna be there for you anymore." She said, almost busting herself into tears.

"Eomma, I can do this by myself okay? no need to worry—"

"Uh... Excuse us? Is this Yoo's house?" The person outside rudely interrupts intently, his arms are on his sides yet he looks innocent.

Still, it was rude.

Ina looks at the three of them for a second, confused, before putting her attention of sending her child away first. She faces her son and fixed his clothes and smiled, "Take care okay? I'll just accompany these people right away." She said.

Her son nods, concerned what might these stranger he've never seen before, wants from their family. And especially now that he's leaving for college, he won't know what will happen. Furthermore, he should trust his eomma more than being unsettled with the new situations.

Youngjae kisses her mother's cheek with his before passing through the new people in front of their house. He thought they're all kind looking people because of their tamed looking faces, except for Taehyung for the arrogant voice that he left as his first impression.

Looking back as he walks away from his house to hope that his mother will be fine after accompanying those strangers. Right now, he should focus on how he will deal to a new world that's waiting for him.

Settling him aside, Ina was left with Jimin, Hobi, and Taehyung, who just got a nudge from his best friend from his behavior just a while ago.

"Is there anything you need from us?" She asks the three of them, her eyes won't stop glancing to one of them for his familiar look.

"Mrs. Yoo, it's me Jimin." Jimin speaks up nervously but did his best to say it out loud.

"Jimin?" She asked.

Instead of getting a surprise and delight of having to see him again after a decade, she seemed to be frightened or maybe worried of seeing him. To which confused the younger because of her sudden impression towards him.

"Oh no, Jimin dear!" She unexpectedly hugged him tight, which he did not obviously expected. He hugged her back for the warm treatment Ina did for him this time, but it didn't last long when she lets go of her hug to him.

Before he could even say a complete sentence, "Mrs. Yoo I missed you a lot and it's been a deca—"

"Dear, let's go inside. Bring your friends with you too." She instructs him, pushing the three boys inside as gently but fast as she could get them into her house.

The old lady closes the door behind her and she removes her shoes. Being followed by Taehyung and Hobi, Jimin on the other hand felt nostalgia just when he got inside.

The house released a scent just when he was still here. An iconic scent from which he recalled of being like a part of a family, a real family. Even if it was just for a year, he felt so welcomed and appreciated.

"Was that Youngjae?" Jimin questioned her with a smile forming onto his lips as he kept remembering of being in this house before.

"It is him dearie, I'm sorry if I could not introduce him to you. He needed to go to Seoul for arrange his things for his college." Her tone became firm enough for Jimin to be comfortable of talking to her just when they got inside recently.

Busy on marveling through the old furniture and pictures in the wall, he didn't get to hear Ina from saying that she'll be back to get something up on the attic. Taehyung and Hobi looked back to distracted Jimin, before one of them could say anything, two guys who look identical came out of separated rooms.

"He've grown up so fast, what about the twins?" Jimin continues to ask but he almost bumped into the two people, leaving Hobi and Taehyung to be alerted but the guy that came out actually talked to their friend.

"Jimin?" The taller male questions the smaller by his looks and Jimin had an eye contact with him.

"Yeontae?" Without any warning, he gets another hug but from this guy Yeontae while the person with him just looks at him.

"Younve been gone for ages!" He told him with such a great joy.

He got startled by Yeontae's embrace and he slowly hugged back, "Y-you can um..."

"Oh yeah, sorry.." He says with a quick chuckle and lets go of Jimin, little did he know, Taehyung was shooting him a glare from his touchy movements against his best friend.

"Are you looking for your mom's belongings?" The man that looks like Yeontae before comes out from his back, his eyes were can't be read for his head is slanted, not making any eye contact.

"Seunghoon!" Yeontae greets his twin brother like he isn't with him and who didn't give him any look back either and got pushed instead. "You're so harsh to me."

This Seunghoon didn't mind anything about what his brother is saying and just talked to Jimin straight ahead.

"They're in the attic." He said with a bit of a harsh tone and mutters, "I'll get them so you can leave immediately." Before dragging himself with his silent footsteps on the waxed wooden floor away from them. Jimin's obviously confused of the cold interaction and was hurt a bit.

"Seunghoon, what the hell are you saying?! Aren't you glad that Jimin came back?" Yeontae defended against his brother.

"Huh?" Hobi is also confused and sees Taehyung urging to come to Jimin but he held him back, "Taehyung—!"

"Hobi, he's..." Tae sees Hobi shaking his head, telling him not to get involve with the situation yet. Him groaning, he nodded and made himself calm.

Seunghoon has a grumpy face stamped, but when he saw Jimin's friends, this guy's faces back to the two (Jimin and to his brother). His face serious changed as if he was ashamed or embarrassed or maybe scared and he started to pant.

"He's part of the Kim's... A relative of them.." He whispered.

"Yah, Seunghoon! I know that you're afraid of what might happen to our family again but at least be glad that Jimin's is here again, safe and sound!"

He didn't get any words from Seunghoon as his brother rushes in the room, after seeing Jimin's friends.

"Safe and sound?" Taehyung mumbled. "Why?" He thought.

Yeontae easily knew the reason why his brother rushed in the room and laughed uneasily to the ears of their visitors.

"He's got issues towards to people—well sometimes, I'm very sorry." He scratches the nape of his neck end the topic off when his mother Ina came out with the box. "Eomma."

"I heard someone running, was that Seunghoon?" Her oldest son nods and sighed as a response, Yeontae takes the box to help his eomma.

"I'll talk to him," he told her, but just before he does, Seunghoon came out of the room and shoved a bottle of old aged perfume to Jimin who almost fall off his own weak body's center of balance.

"S-Seunghoon?" Jimin got startled as well.

A mist of a sweet scent lingers on him accidentally, the perfume was sprayed onto his clothes. It stayed with a strong smell that Seunghoon became even more reluctant of talking to Jimin.

"It's your mom's." He told him before walking away, Jimin noticed that Seunghoon's hand is shaking as he walk away.

"So... He does have issues... But I want to thank him." Jimin uttered.

"Jimi—"

"Seunghoon hyung Wait!" He yells catching up on the older man but he got stopped by him at the same time.

"Don't... Think of thanking me Jimin.." He mumbled, still not looking at him.

"But—"

"Yah! Just let him thank you at least...!" Yeontae started to shout.

"Yeontae, stop it." Ina cuts in her hand held her son's, Yeontae looks at her, stopping himself to oblige his mother and remained quiet.

"S-Seunghoon, why is this with you?" On the seond thought, Jimin asked him that question than thanking him.

For few seconds, he became quiet that everyone surprisingly wait for him to asnwer as he coemched his hands that turned white.

"You... Don't want to know about it..." He said before walking away.

It remained silent when he left, leaving Jimin baffled from what that guy was just saying to him. A single question that can't be answered. Just why?

Why did he have his mother's perfume through all these years?

"Jimin, your stuff are here too." Ina points out to the confounded boy.

"My stuff?" Jimin was surprised from asking that while Ina nodded. Will his left stuff can finally help him know what happened before the accident?

"You weren't able to bring with you ten years ago."

"Thank you so much Mrs. Yoo!" He thanks in bit of hype within, expressing a delightful gratitude to the elderly woman.

"I'm very sorry for how Seunghoon talked to you." She said.

Mentioning thay guy's name, a question left his mind. Seunghoon could have just let it sit there in the attic along Jimin and his mother's stuff?

Suddenly, his stomach growls causing a low sound of a hungry stomach. Then he got confused, he interrogated if did he actually eat even just a bite earlier when they took a break?

"Have you eaten?" Ina questions, she heard Jimin's tummy's small grumbling, smiling in such a cute situation he had. Maybe it was a no.

The pretty wrinkled lady remembered how she use to feed that little Jimin just a decade ago.

Such a thin unique child that had chubby enough cheeks, when he was still living with them he became quiet chubby and normal than he ever thought.

She never thought he would grow up fine, hence he's just so slenderly slim and fit. It worried her a but that he might be not treated at the Jeon's residence especially that Jimin's a maid there.

Let's just hope that he isn't really in danger at any cost or so so... Ina doesn't want this poor lone boy to have himself in the hands of the death just like how his mother disappeared, knowing that she's already dead.

Although she didn't get to see her burial since at that time there was a storm roaming that time, even Jimin didn't get to see his own mother. And not even the grave because she never knew where it was since she's too busy taking care of her kids with his husband who's taking care of their fast food chain.

"Mrs. Yoo? Are you alright?" Jimin asked him as he sees her deep stare to him and she change her expression with a smile.

"Nothing dearie, I just... I made a mushroom soup and some dishes, you should eat along with these boys you're with." She said and looks at the box that her son just gave Jimin the box of his remaining memories.

Not only about his mom's memories but his unfolded childhood too.

"Thanks Yeontae." Jimin smiled and the hyung nodded.

"You should go look for those things first, they are very inportant to you right? Dearie?" She asks him with an almost tear smile, the young boy looks down before looking back up to Ina.

"Thank you Mrs. Yoo, for keeping these through a decade." He thanked her and he's almost crying, "I've been missing my mom so much. Thank you..." He can't say enough but to thank the old lady.

To be honest, Jimin's sense of his memories doesn't seem to go along of how he should really feel. He would sometimes forget about his mom's absence that hurts him a lot, the traumatic and anxious feeling when being on a vehicle (sometimes), or even the thing about getting his other self involved with Jungkook.

It's not abnormal, there really times what he should feel for a situation just like it's his mood. Yeah, it's all based on his mood in short, don't judge him so his sake.

Taking the box from Yeontae, Jimin looks at the box he have in his hands. Dusts are barely removed, probably Ina blew them off before she moves it down so she's sniffing a bit right now. They we're offered to sit in the living room where a small coffee table is positioned in the middle with several magazines and newspapers.

Not to mention the box was quiet big, it made him wonder how did Ina managed to bring it down from the attic. Does this box includes all of his mom's clothes?

Inquisitive Jimin opens the box to confirm it, he've come to see a another box but a smaller one, when he opened it, there's a pair of dusty white and tiny yet delicate shoes. He can say that it's also a girl's shoes for it's unique curvy line designs.

Only who owns this aged shoes? Is it his? It would be impossible for his mom to bring her own shoes when she was a kid.

If it is his shoes, who gave them?

Shrugging, he though that maybe his mom gave it to him as a gift. Maybe it was on Christmas, or in the new year's, or... on his last birthday since it looks like it was only used once.

They day when the accident happened.

Jimin frowns from looking at these shoes, confused still doesn't quiet remember anything from those shoes.

"Hey Chim, is everything alright?" Taehyung bothers as he sees Jimin's unhappy mood. "Did you remember somthing from that shoes?" He asked.

The shorter shook his head as a no, "This shoes doesn't remind me of anything... But I remembered my birthday ten years ago, it was the same time where that mishap crashed my mom to death and sent me in sleep to months."

Hobi on the other side, who's sitting besides Taehyung, is observing those shoes well. He have gone to Jungkook's house before, but as a kid, with Hoseok.

Somewhere and when, it appears that he have seen it before. But where was it? When was it?

"Hobi... Hobi! Are you alright hyung?" Taehyung is troubled by his toned as he looks at these two.

This was his disadvantage, since he didn't study at the same school as Jungkook and Namjoon during elementary days, he didn't got to play with them or go to their house back then. Now he regrets not being able to see Jimin in the mansion even just a kid, maybe everything will be even more clear today.

"I'm fine Taehyung, I'm just observing this shoes, they're...interesting." The older says with a gentle smile which made Taehyung felt somewhat antsy.

But he would like to make Jimin to look for the other stuff inside, it's not like it's the only thing that can remind him of that past right?

Looking beyond the stuff inside, he abrupt hold onto a folded pair of outfit and lift it up. The other two left looked at it, it was a uniform of an army soldier, it has few holes in it. When he looked at the name tag on the top of the buttoned chest pocket, it says Sergeant Park.

"That's Jisoo hyung's uniform." Yeontae joins them on the living room, sitting on the soft carpet with his legs crossed. "He wanted that uniform to be kept by Miyeo noona after he left for their mission. You were only three years-old when he leaves the both of you here and unfortunately, he didn't make it back."

"My father.....died?" Jimin asked in disbelief, his brows furrowed and sadness overpower on him.

"Yes." Seunghoon answers behind everyone of them that almost had heart attack. "And he sent this uniform as his declaration that he's not coming back."

"No," Yeontae defends his own answer from his brother.

"Yeontae shut up—"

"His body wasn't found in the battled field because there was an ambush event and bombs that exploded. But they told us he's already dead because one of his comrades says that he was also shot for a couple of times before the bomb exploded to the designated area, Miyeo didn't believe he was dead since there was no body and she kept waiting for your father even after she moved back to Busan with you." He says, glaring after to at Seunghoon.

"B-but why is this uniform here?" Jimin asked.

"It's your father's first uniform, he's only 24 that when he got in the army after he proposed to your mother. He came back with bandages where he got his first set of gunshots during the mission. He got his bandages hit by Miyeo that time but she was so happy he got back safe but wounded." Yeontae continued.

"Was my dad a great man?" He asked once again, taking the uniform from his best friend. Yeontae smiled and nodded at him while Seunghoon groaned, looking away.

"If he is... Why did he left his family for such really dangerous mission when they are also in much more dangerous situation?" He whispered and Hobi actually heard it as his eyebrows furrowed but he's not giving him a look.

"Your father was a really dedicated man, he's like his job. A really dedicated person that loves his family and will do anything just to protect them. He also help people even if he doesn't have parents anymore but eomma treated her as if he's her own child. Although he just left for the army to be a great soldier." Yeontae says with such a gentle voice.

"Can you tell me more?" The younger is just really intimidated of knowing more about his father. "How does he treat mom? Did I get to see him?"

Yeontae nods simultaneously to his questions, "He was, after you were born to Busan, your family moved here since he wants you and Miyeo to have a comfy home."

"Really?"

"Yeah, he also chose to become a night guard just to spend his time with the both of you during day time even if he is tired." Jimin tears up as he grips a bit tightly onto the uniform, stopping himself from crying then he wipes them away.

Even just for his first three years of living, Jimin doesn't really remember how he was cherished by his father. He could feel nostalgia of seeing him in this uniform on his hands.

"I wonder if he's really alive..." He thought the same thing like his mother. "Thank you, Yeontae..."

"No problem, I'll just help eomma in the kitchen. Be right back." Jimin nodded to his hyung.

Before he moves on, he takes a last look to the dusty piece of army uniform. It would be a really more enjoyable years if his parents are still alive. Well not like it's not delightful to have friends to accompany throughout the years of being a person living.

No family or relatives he ever knew about.

"Oo there's a pinwheel!" Taehyung points a child's object inside, a colorful toy was revealed when he pick it up.

Satisfied with what he sees, he've come to look at his best friend who just stares at it. "Jimin?"

Hobi on the other side looked worried ever since Jimin started to explore what's in the box. "Is something wrong my friend?" He asks.

But the small guy just really stares at it, a flashback plays onto his mind. And that flashback was on his 6th birthday, the same day of the accident.

~~~~
"Mom, what's that?" Little Jimin questions with an uneasy look, scared that his mom is holding a weapon with four sharp blade as if it's an electric fan without electricity.
"It's a pinwheel Jimjim." She said with a chuckle, "You don't have to be scared my flower, it's not a dangerous object. Mom has made this for you."
"For me?" He squeals as she nods.
"Yes, here you go." She handed it over to him.
But as he grabs it on hand, he got startled when it startled to turn in circles when the wind suddenly blow onto the little fan.
"M-mom...!" Miyeo leans down and hold the pinwheel with him with a smile. Satisfied that Jimin's wanting to discover new things siding it with cuteness in addition because he's practically new to it.
"This means that the wind is happy Jimin,"
"Happy?"
"They want to play with you with this toy." She says as the pinwheel continues to twirl itself with the wind. "When you hold onto this and it turns, you won't ever feel alone. Because the wind is with you to comfort you even if I'm not here."
"Alone..." Baby Jimin thought of someone, "Like ****?" He muttered, looking somewhere.
"Is anything wrong baby?"
"Can I also play with you mom?" Little Jimin asks with a bit of worry, "I don't want to play with it alone since he's not home yet. He is still in school with his friends."
It fun to hear that her only child's got a friend, Miyeo couldn't send her to school since she cannot let her brother knew about her son.
"He'll be back, of course I'll play with you baby~ but I'll need to go back to work after it okay?" Jimin nods, jumping in excitement.
"Yay!" He exclaimed, raising his new toy."Can I show this to **** when he comes home?"
"Would you like him to play with it too?" He nodded from her question.
"He never get to play the other kids.... Mom I would like to give...." Miyeo looks at him as Jimin looks down, mumbling words she could barely hear.
He wants his friend to have the same toy so he would also not feel alone at school, that's what Miyeo thought.
"You really care for him, are you my flower?" She asked with a satisfied expression for how generous her son is.
"I love him mommy! Especially tomorrow, we'll be playing again and it's my birthday!"
~~~~

It was the first and last present his mom gave her before the day of his birthday arrived. The same day he was given another one to give it to the boy he used to play with. And the same day when he played with his mom.

And after that day, everything vanished just like a really delicate bubble that popped.

His only childhood best friend, his beloved beautiful mother Miyeo, his joyful whole life.

"She gave me this to remind me that I'll never be alone even if she's not here." He stated, not knowing that tears have come to slide down to his cheeks, a frazzling feeling is forced up in his throat as soft sobs escapes to his lips.

"Jimin..."

"But I completely forgot about it." He totally cried as he said that.

"It's not your fault, you had an amnesia right?" Tae rubs his back in circles with his soothing voice.

Minutes passed as he entirely cried, he tried himself to stop himself from crying so much as he looks at the pinwheel, bliss and noxious emotions pouring down to his heart.

Jimin is calming from how the small sobs he currently have, sniffing for the last second even if he wants to burst out even more. Just imagine of being alone without any parents supporting you? It's really tough for the kid.

"Are you okay now?" Hobi asks him and he looks at him, giving him a few bobs.

"Yeah," he inhales and exhales, spotting a book onto an album that seemed to be unfamiliar to him.

It has its own titled called 'The Apple of Love' with the addition of a family photo.

The photo shows of Miyeo and her husband Jisoo smiling so happily with the small infant Jimin on their arms. It's their first picture they had when he was born, his date of birth's wrotten neatly above the photo.

Jimin began to observe it and smiled, letting himself to cry no more because he'd like to be calmer so that he can at least enjoy this moment at the same time. Although he never much remembers, he misses them so much.

"Minie, I have to go to the bathroom for a sec. Do you mind?" Taehyung asks him, of course Jimin immediately replies a no.

"Oh I'll go with you, I also needed to pee." Hobi says whispering the last word then looking behind to Ina, standing up with Taehyung, "Mrs. Yoo, can you tell us where it is?"

While two of his friends leaves to go to the bathroom, he focused on observing the first picture he'd seen.

"I have charming parents..." He commented, grinning for how cute they look. They both have baby faces

"You got her eyes." Someone suddenly talks behind to where he is sitting, saying such a thing he wouldn't expect from someone when he looked back.

"Seunghoon..." He called him but there's only a flat expression on the older's face.

"I cannot even look at you properly." He said, "Those dark brown orbs with mono lids fazes me every time like when she was looking after you." He began to sit beside him and flip the page.

The younger began to examine his statement from how he describe his mother and his statements to him earlier as well, Seunghoon doesn't want to tell Jimin why did he kept his mom's perfume and he doesn't want him to thank the older.

"Were you in love with my mom?" Jimin asked without any hesitation.

Resulting for the older to grit his teeth, those jaws tightened and noticeably visible to Jimin. But since it was just the two of them, Seunghoon takes the chance at last.

He was hiding his feelings ever since he saw Jimin.

"I do," he acknowledged, "I was in love with your mom and I'm never embarrassed of admitting it in front of you even if it's shameful."

"Shameful? Why? That's his true feelings so, why would he announce it to me as shameful?" Jimin thought.

It's not like he needed to feel unpleasant of what this guy is saying, as if he was in love before. Jimin doesn't understand what does it feel yet, this called romantic love.

(You might be thinking that he's in love with either Namjoon—or Jungkook eheh, but he only looks up to them. Remember: Like is different to Love.)

"You, her only son, were the only memory that was left. Despite knowing it, I hated the fact that she is truly gone." He said.

The smaller just pursed his lips, reluctantly agreeing to what he said. Jimin doesn't want to lose hope that his dad is not yet dead and is still out there, waiting for him and his mom that he will never be able to meet again.

"I kept that perfume because she gave it to me before moving back to Busan with you. She never said I should give it to you when time passed by. When eomma adopted you after the accident, you don't feel sad or anything because you barely knew anything about your mom yet I still took care of you."

Tucking him to bed when fell asleep, or leaving toys and giant bubble swords he could buy on a random store when the child Jimin was alone at home.

Taking care of him when he once got sick, ans scolding him whenever this boy did something not right. It was how Seunghoon cared for him.

"I know..." Jimin mumbled.

"I was so angry seeing you move back to Busan to work for the Jeon's with a big smile as if you didn't lose your mom."

"With a smile? That's not true!" Jimin denies it mentally, frowning in action.

"I just want to hide it from all of you and I can't even ask about it to anyone.."

"But you came back here, curious and eager." He added with a light tone, "I was glad."

Astonished, Seunghoon heed to Jimin's expression, he've seen to much of his cries and he can't take it. He thinks that he had made him confused and sad too.

"I'm....very sorry... You must be disgusted—"

"Hyung, I'm not." Jimin looks at him with relaxed eyes, sending a small smile to his hyung.

Not quiet comfortable with Miyeo's son, Seunghoon rubs his arm with other hand to lessen the tension ahead his firm forearm.

"Furthermore, can I...thank you now?" Jimin pleaded, still smiling as he asked.

Seunghoon laughs for his dongsaeng's requests, small thing to consider but he's just so cute just like his mom after all. He've forgiven the Jimin he thought that never cared for the person he loved.

The person he never chose to confess ever.

So, she fell in love with another man. And that man was his best friend, Park Jisoo.

Her death made him become anxious and he took himself as the blame. Not anyone, not even Miyeo's son.

If he had confessed to her, she would have married her instead. Perhaps he could have took all the circumstances of marriage life with her with a child like Jimin. He would be able to protect them better than Jisoo.

But, it's done. All he happiness and wishes he could've had disappeared because he became a coward, he chose to hide all those feelings.

She wouldn't be dead today...

Suddenly, Jimin sees the upset expression on Seunghoon place. Not like before, it was even blunter when he met him again, but there was no sign of regret and anger.

He's in deep distress.

"Seung—"

"Jimin." The older cuts him off with furrowed eyebrows of sorrow.

"Y-yes?" Jimin stutters.

"If you ever fall in love with someone please," he puts his hand on the other's should. "Never hesitate to confess to them."

"Hyung, why are you telling me t-that?" He asks innocently.

Seems like he've tried to influence someone with his words that learned a lot from the past so he shook his head, "It's nothing, just remember that."

"I think I'm too y-young to fall in love..." He says shyly, looking onto his side.

Though he's few years near to be 20 years old, Seunghoon never thought that this boy doesn't experience it even at once. He continued to chuckle for a bit.

"You mom thought that I was gay." He changes the topic.

"Excuse me?" In result, Jimin misheard at what he just said. "What did you just say hyung?"

"I said your mom thought I was gay." He repeated.

Finally Jimin snorted as he understand what Seunghoon just told him twice. "Is that why you have her perfume?!"

In surprised, the older smile without noticing it himself. He felt good when this youth asks him in unbelieving excitement of hearing a story from him as if he was an uncle to him.

(A/N: They were more of like sibling when Jimin's living with them 10 years ago.)

"I was a really close person towards her because she always clings onto me for my uneasy attitude." He story told him.

"I totally forgot about that, you always have that attitude!" Jimin exclaims, laughing.

"So that's why you're acting like that earlier!" Seunghoon complains jokingly.

"Yah, you're the one being so cold in the first place. Don't blame it on me!" Jimin backfire.

He puts an arm around his neck while his other arm's hand turns into first, planting it to Jimin's above the wig.

"You brat! You should not answer an elderly like that!"

Seunghoon continues to yell but Jimin just laughs with big smiles on their faces. On the other hand, Yeontae and Ina (who's almost crying) were just grinning at them from afar.

"I've never seen him become so loud again like that." She said, wiping her eye by a finger.

Yeontae just nods, concurrency is flooding through.

"Guess he's starting to change." He enunciated.

Moments later, Taehyung started running off the bathroom and huffs, sweating slightly across the back of the sofa that Jimin and Seunghoon is sitting on.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HIM?!" He shouts furiously.

Everyone looks at him in shock, except Jimin who's totally into laughing, carelessly ignored his best friend. Taehyung saw him laughing while Seunghoon constantly removes his arm around Jimin slowly, bit scared of him.

"Is he usually that terrifying?" Seunghoon whispered as he watches the twitching eyes of his dongsaeng's best friend ranging in anger.

The younger calms downs and waved his hand as an answer, "He's overprotective hyung. Give him a chance."

Moments later, Ina offers them to eat for a meantime, the mushroom soup releases slim savory smoke that signifies it's hot along with the other variations of viands she just cooked.

It's time for lunch.

~~~~
Everyone were stuffed and pleased from the meal they just had. All of them are helping each other on cleaning up the dining area.
Ina went out to deliver her husband's lunch on their restaurant. They own a chicken restaurant, it's usually crowded there every lunch and she would go there to make him eat.
"Your mother is a really great cook." Hobi complimented as he talk to Seunghoon, felicitated.
They were washing the dishes, Taehyung and Yeontae were a managing the table together. Meanwheile, Jimin's sitting in the sofa again alone.
Taehyung didn't let him help since he knows that he's been doing that for ages and he should go look at pictures. He also told him that pictures are the most exciting ones to look at.
"She was a maid too at the Jeon's so that explains her godlike cooking we always love." Seunghoon responded as he rinses the plates.
"It must be really hard for Jimin to be in a private society inside their mansion for years. Especially that he's a guy." Yeontae plunges to their conversation.
"No judgement acquired?" Taehyung asks looking at the older. But of course— Yeontae just laughs it off with a nod.
"None." He says. "I'm more amazed of how tough he is."
"You better be." Taehyung bluntly said.
"Don't be harsh on him Tae." Hobi scolds softly with his back facing.
"Says the one who chose to go back home." He call out with rolling eyes.
Hobi sighs in irritatedly, "Can we talk about it later? I told you we have to help out Jimin first today like you side this morning. Right?"
Taehyung also sighs yet it's sarcastic, "Pathetic, don't bring Jimin on this just because you think his childhood friend could be—"
"Taehyung." Jimin suddenly calls with his eyes opening in shock and terror.
"Something wrong?" Taehyung looks back but Jimin is just focused on what he is seeing on the pictures.
He literally can't speak out to say it out loud from what he is seeing, his small hands are shaking from the visible person with him on the picture.
A pair of pinwheels are separated by the very tiny Jimin and the kid he's with in front of the bush. They were smiling dearly, holding hands and daring on the picture that's captured by an old polaroid camera.
Jimin can't believe of what he is seeing.
"T-The heir is my childhood friend." He mumbled.
A/N: my word count made me lost my mind.
Like, I am reviewing this story from the very start and I just realize how short (for like 1000+ to 3000+ words in max) and amazing those chapters were.
I think this is the longest chapter I could have made so far in this story. (Maybe— I dunno)
A secret was revealed once again! JIMIN AND JUNGKOOK ARE CHILDHOOD FRIENDs OMGASDFGHJKL— don't wanna over react or Jimin will hit me again.
Did ya'll got it right?
Have you seen Jikook's performance of "Black Or White"? it was lit on fireeee🔥
That's all for today lovelies, it was hassle but worth it chapter because I have loyal readers waiting for an update. You still there right?
I love you all and have a wonderful day!
Xx, Yeni.
