Kim's POV

"Babe! You need to relax" Cheryl said with authority in her voice

"I can't!!" I yelled putting my face into my hands letting out a scream

"They are going to know the second they come in! what if they ask to go see my work? what if they call Justin!? OH MY GOD!" I screamed making her jump and put her hand over her heart

"What!!?" She yelled

"You're fcking Cheryl Cole!!"

"Yeah babe is it just now you have realized who I was?" She laughed

"No no no no" I paced back and forth in the front room as chez watched me like I was crazy

"How am I supposed to explain that my friend is Cheryl Cole? and I live with her!?" I groaned loudly

"Baby come here a second before I strap you down to the sofa" she grabbed my hand forcing me down on the sofa straddling my thighs as she put her hands on either side of my face forcing me to look at her

"You need to calm down" she said slowly

"Say it" she demanded

"I need to calm down" I said robotically repeating the words

"You're going to be fine, and they're not going to suspect anything" she said leaning into me blowing a raspberry into my mouth making me laugh at her randomness

"We're going to be fine" I said trying to convince myself, I wrapped my arms around her waist tightly flipping her over onto the sofa

"But you know what that means" I whispered into her ear

"What?"

"I have to keep my hands off you while they're around" I squeezed her chest roughly making her moan

"Kimba don't, I will force you into a closet and shag you while they're here as your punishment if you start on us now" she removed my hand off her chest raising her eyebrow

"Are you rejecting me Tweedy?" I gasped pretending to be offended

"That is exactly what I am doing" she got up smoothing down her dress

"You'll see" I said getting up and fixing my flared skirt and top making sure I was ready to get interrogated by my family. There was a knock on the door and I didn't have to think twice to know who would be on the other side

"Okay you need to calm down!" I said to Cheryl, she was just standing there with a smirk obviously I was the one that needed to calm down

"Erm... go upstairs and come down in like 10 minutes yeah?" I pleaded

"Agh okay fine only because I love you" she huffed walking out of the front room. I quickly grabbed her by her waist spinning her around and pecking her lips repeatedly as I said

"I love you, I love you, I love you" making her laughing against my mouth

"I owe you forever"

"You don't owe us anything, now go answer them before they have a fit" she said walking out and going upstairs. I took a deep breath before answering the front door

"Hey guys!" I greeted them with a nervous smile

"Kimberley" they said inSync giving me a group hug. My brother Adam, and Sisters Amy, and Sally were here along with my parents Diane and John.. Great the whole lot is here

"Come in" I moved to the side allowing them to walk into the mansion that I call home

"Wow you've upgraded Kim" Dad said approvingly

"Yeah.. just me and my friend decided to get something nice together" I lied convincingly

"Why didn't you just buy a place on your own?" dad asked as he took a seat on the sofa

"Didn't want to live on my own in a big place" I shrugged taking a seat on the opposite sofa. everyone began their chatter mainly questions being shot towards me about work. I didn't realize what a good liar I was until now.. it's ridiculous, why should I be lying to them is this what my life has come to?

"I'm just going to get my friend and introduce her to you guys" I said quickly getting up and heading up to the bedroom

"So how's it going?" Cheryl whispered as soon as I shut the bedroom door coming over to me quickly

"So far so good.. you ready to meet them?" I asked suddenly my heart rate pace picked up

"Yeah" she said biting her lip, I knew she was nervous

"Here let me kiss you" I said grabbing the back of her neck quickly crashing our lips together kissing each other passionately as long as we could before air became a problem and we had to pull apart

"Come on let's go" I said taking her hand and leading her down the stairs, I let go of her contact just before my family came into view

"As if Cheryl Cole is your friend!?" My brother shot up from his seat and yelled

"Adam!" I hissed warning him

"Aye hello I'm Cheryl" I could hear how nervous she was. This was Cheryl's first time meeting my family, but she was just a friend although I felt she still wanted to give a good impression to them in the long run.. we weren't going to be a secret forever, well at least I hoped not.

"Nice to meet you I'm Diane" my family came up one by one with their posh self and shook her hand before retreating back to their seats

"How did you manage to befriend Cheryl?" My sister Amy asked nosily

"We.. Erm.. We ju-" Cheryl cut me off

"I met her at a meeting I was attending, she had come in for a conference right after and we just got to talking, we clicked right away" she must be a good liar too.. convinced me.

"Ooh look at you going to the big meetings" My mum commended me I just smiled not knowing what to say really. I sat on the arm chair while Cheryl sat on the arm rest hanging off it a little resting her arm on my back

"So.. you guys hungry?" I asked trying to change the subject

"Yeah we could eat" Adam answered rudely

"Well we decided on barbecue, so if the men want to go outside and get the grill ready that would be great" I said standing up almost knocking Cheryl over, I looked at her with a worried and apologetical look but she just laughed shaking her head at me. The boys went out back while the rest of the women went into the kitchen to prep the food. Although I had everything already plated and put into the fridge there really wasn't anything to do but take them out

"We're doing good so far yeah?" Chez asked nervously as my sisters and mum went outside with plates filled with raw meats and veggies to be grilled

"Yeah.. I love you Chez thank you for being so understanding" I said pulling her into a much needed hug. I sighed into her as she tightened her hold on me

"I love you too Kimba, it's going to be okay" she said rubbing my back calming my nerves down

"Come on we better get out there" I said giving her neck a few pecks before pulling apart

"Here I'll get these you just bring out the drinks" she instructed me as she held the plates filled with food and headed out to the back garden with me close behind

"Kim the back garden is phenomenal, looks like the business is doing great things for you" My dad said while flipping the steaks on the grill

"Erm.. Yeah thanks dad" I felt the sudden need to throw up, I sat beside Cheryl on the patio set table waiting for the food to be cooked. She took my hand and laced our fingers together under the table, I needed her to do that and it's as if she read my mind. The contact from her made me relax a little in my seat

"Still so weird that we're having dinner with Cheryl Cole" Adam said as he shoveled a mouthful of steak into his mouth

"Will you stop that" I rolled my eyes as I dug into my plate as well. Cheryl and I were sitting so close I'm surprised no one has said anything yet, her leg was practically on my thigh. Our laced fingers were abandoned due to the fact we needed both hands to hold the cutlery in

"Foods delicious Kim... So have you been in contact with Justin" I was just waiting for it, there was no way she wasn't going to bring up his name

"No Mum" I sighed getting annoyed of her constant pushing of the subject. Chez leg moved out of contact and I knew she was uncomfortable with the subject as well, she always seemed off about it when his name was brought up unless I was speaking about my past

"He was a good man Kimberley I don't know how you could let someone like that slip through your fingers" she said shaking her head

"Mum not now" I moaned looking down at my plate

"I'm just saying you need to reevaluate your bad choices"

"I think we should leave Kimberley alone" Cheryl said standing up for me. I looked at Her and smiled thankfully to her

"You wouldn't be saying that if you seen him, he was such a gentlemen treated her like a right princess if you ask me" There was a pang in my heart, feeling the need to cry with all the unwashed memories flooding my brain

"Well no one is asking you Mum so just drop it" I snapped getting off my seat and heading up to the bedroom
