Third person's POV

Hiro holds Lunamon tightly against his chest as they fall from the cliff to the water below and so did Daichi with Coronamon.

"Sora!" Piyomon yells.

"Koushiro!" Tentomon yells.

"Tk!" Patamon also yell.

The three flying digimon flew down to grab their partners, but since the digimon had just digivolved, they weren't used to their new bodies and abilities, so they couldn't hold them for long and they all finally hit the water.

"Fish Net!" Gomamon shouts as the twins and their Digimon sink into the water, they were suddenly lifted out of it by a large school of colorful fish.

Daichi looks at his partner "are you okay?" he asks Coronamon with concern.

Coronamon nods "I-I'll be okay Daichi" he assures the older twin who then sigh with relief.

Taichi and the others then lands on the fish "Wow, this is some ride." Tai says surprised and dumbfounded by the school of fish.

The large digimon's roar cuts through the air as the cliff begins to collapse.

"Hey, look out!" Yamato shouted. Lunamon hold Hiro tighter as the fish swam faster.

"say that to the fish" Daichi says.

However, the water became rough as the large cliff fell into the water. The nine children and Digimon hold onto the fish as tight as they could, until finally they get wash ashore.

Kazuhiro coughed up all the water he had in his mouth as he sat up and looked around at Daichi and the others. he sighs with relief, thankful that no one seemed injured.

"I knew we would be okay. I wasn't worried" Yamato says trying to make himself sound cool.

Daichi however raise an eyebrow "Yeah, well your screams of fear said otherwise" he says. 

Coronamon and Lunamon laughs as Yamato's face turns red in embarrassment and Hiro sweat drops at the scene.

"What was that, a floating fish market?" Joe asks as he wants on the ground.

"Lucky for us those fish were having a school reunion, ha-ha." Gomamon says jokingly as Joe looks up at the newly evolved Digimon in confusion "I'm kidding, those fish are good friends of mine, and I just asked them for a lift" Gomamon explains happily as his tail wags back and forth,

Daichi pets Gomamon "We owe you, Buddymon" Daichi says to Gomamon

"yeah, thanks Gomamon!" Coronamon agrees.

Gomamon blushes a bit "awe stop!"

Joe sees Daichi with awe 'He's smiling in a time like this...why?' he questions himself before he shakes his head and looks back at his Digimon partner "And all these I thought I was allergic to seafood, thank you... Uh... I guess it's not Pukamon?" Joe asks.

"Gomamon, now" Gomamon respond.

"Gomamon" Joe repeats. 

"And I guess you're not Tokomon anymore, are you?" Tk asks as he stares at his partner.

"Mhm, now I'm Patamon!" Patamon says.

"It's all because we digivolved" Agumon says, explaining what had happened to him and the other Digimon.

Hiro looks at Agumon amaze and looks down at Lunamon "so You go by another name, now"

Lunamon nods "I digivolved from Moonmon to Lunamon!" she explains Hiro nods.

"I'll remember that" he says.

"So digivolving is when a digimon advances to the next level and becomes more powerful." Koushiro concludes.

Tentomon nods at the computer kid "Right, all of us digivolved. I went from Motimon to Tentomon." Tentomon explains.

the pink bird Digimon places her wing on her chest while looking at Sora "I digivolved from Pyocomon to Piyomon." Piyomon explains to the ginger female who nod at her partner in understanding.

"First I was Tsunomon, then Gabumon" Gabumon says.

"And I digivolved from Tanemon to Palmon" Palmon tells Mimi who only blink in confusion which is new information for her.

Coronamon turns to Daichi "I went from Sunmon to Coronamon!" he states happily which Daichi pulls the Digimon close to him. 

"yeah you are!" Daichi says hugging Coronamon which the two laugh.

"And me, I was Koromon. I digivolved into Agumon" Agumon then explains.

"Mhm, when you digivolve you certainly got way bigger. Are something else now, or still digimon?" Tai asks, trying to change the subject.

"Digimon, but I needed your help, Tai" Agumon says, surprising the tanned-skin boy "You see, digivolving is a very difficult process. In order to be successful, I had to share your energy" Agumon explains.

"Really?" Taichi asks.

Sora bent down towards Piyomon "I guess you guys don't run on batteries" she states.

Piyomon looks back at Sora "sure don't" she replies.

"But how do you access my energy?" Koushiro asks.

Tentomon shrugs "even we don't have the answers" he responds.

Palmon spins around "Thanks for my magical powers" Palmon excitedly says.

Mimi tilts her head to a side "The whole thing makes my head spiny." Mimi sighs.

"So, I helped you change. That's so cool!" Tk says as he circles Patamon.

"My folks warned me about strangers." Joe say, turning away from Gomamon who frowned.

Daichi sighs and pats Gomamon's head "allow me" he tells Gomamon before he goes to the taller boy "hey Joe, don't get me wrong, is not bad to be cautious about certain things, but we mustn't forget that Gomamon save us, and he wants to be your friend, Joe; so, these guys are going to be our closest friends for the rest of our lives, and you'll learn to accept that fact" Daichi tells him.

"All right, come on, now what are we gonna do?" Yamato questions.

"If only there was payphone nearby. We could call the police, or the Fire Department, or my mother." Joe hastily suggests.

Hiro sweat drops "how are going to find a payphone in the middle of the woods?" he says.

"And we don't even know where we are" Tai adds.

Sora looks up at the mountain "But we do know that we came from up there." She speaks.

"I say we forget about going back and explore around here" Yamato suggested.

"That would be the best option" the twins agree.

"I'm not exploring anywhere." Joe refuses, "I'd say we stay right where we are" he says.

"Yeah, let's wait for the giant bug to come get us. We need to find a road leading someplace to get away from here" Yamato said.

Hiro glares at the blonde boy "Yamato, you could be a little nicer" he says as Yamato turned his head away from the younger twin which he rolls his eyes.

"Hmm, Yamato's right, but without a compass, we can't even tell which way is North" Koushiro says.

"Wait I know." Tentomon says.

Koushiro looks at Tentomon "Well which way is it?" he questions.

"It's the opposite of South." Tentomon says as Koushiro sigh, Hiro and Dai chuckle at the joke.

"I shouldn't have worn these pants; they ride up when I do a lot of walking." Joe complains.

"You know, if we could get back to where we were before, we might at least find some clues as to why we're here in this place" Sora says.

"Yes indeedy" Palmon answered. Mimi looks disgusted.

"Those monsters don't scare me" Yamato declares.

"no one cares" the twins says clearly unimpressed as their partners laugh.

"Are there any humans?" Tai asks Agumon.

"Humans? Others like you?" Agumon question in which Taichi nod, "You're the first ever. There's been no one besides digimon" he then says.

"So, okay you're all digimon. But what about these monsters, they're all digimon too?" Taichi then asks.

"It's creepy, and dangerous, and who knows what happens when it gets dark." Sora says.

"Who says it ever gets dark here?" Yamato asks.

"Such a phenomenon would be unnatural" Koushiro states.

"And you call this natural?" Joe asks.

"Well, we're not gonna find out anything by standing around here" Taichi says as he turns around and walk away.

"Where do you think you're going?" Yamato asks.

"Up on that cliff, that's where I saw the ocean" Taichi says.

Yamato tilts his head "the ocean?" he repeats.

"Yep! There might be a boat or something" With no better ideas, they all followed Tai down the river.

As the group walked down the path, everyone began to take a view at the beautiful landscape.

"The trees are beautiful" Sora comment.

"Yeah, they're really different and I just thought they were subtropical." Koushiro says.

"Well, whatever they are," Joe sniffed, "They're aggravating my hay fever."

"Hey Joe, is there anything you don't complain about?" Yamato question only to be elbowed in the side by Daichi, the blonde looks at him as he holds his ribs in pain.

"For not being nice" the older twin replies walking up to his twin.

After a little more walking, the digimon showing off their new skills, but in that category Coronamon took the win by showing off doing a handstand walking to Daichi who then decided to do the same which Hiro sigh and laugh nervously while having Lunamon falling asleep in his arms, Gabumon took a whiff of the air. Hiro then sniffs and smell the familiar salty air surrounding the ocean.

"Ahh, nothing like the ocean" Gabumon says.

"Yeah, everybody in the water!" Gomamon shouts happily.

"Hey, let's build a giant sandcastle" Tk suggests. the twins smile at his innocence.

'He and our cousin would be good friends' they thought

Suddenly the softest sounds of ringing telephones reach their ears.

"Wait a minute, listen, what's that?" Yamato questions, hearing the ringing.

"Sound like a phone ring" Daichi says.

"A phone" Tai gasps. they all run down towards the beach and to their surprise they see five phonebooths lines in a row.

"See what did I tell ya, all we needed was a phone! We're safe!" Joe exclaims happily.

They all ran to the phone, but as soon as they open one of the doors, the ringing stopped.

"Why'd it stop ringing, Tai?" Agumon ask his partner.

"Wrong number?" Tai replies.

Sora tilts her head "well that's bizarre" she then says.

"My theory is aliens, they set these phonebooths out as a trap." Koushiro states as the twins looks at the shorter boy with a sweat drop.

"If we can call up a place that delivers, lets order pizza" Yamato says.

"Whatever you get, no anchovies for me" Mimi says.

"The question is, what are these things doing out here at the beach?" Sora asks as the twins nod agreeing with the ginger female.

"So, kids can call their parents for a ride home" Joe says.

Hiro looks at the phone hesitantly "hm..." he hums "I don't think these phones can reach to anyone" he says to himself

"What do you mean Hiro?" Lunamon ask her partner.

"I'm just assuming, Lunamon, I can be wrong about this as well" Hiro replies.

"Parents? What exactly is a parent?" Gomamon asks.

Joe looks down at the Digimon and sighs, "That's it, I'm out of here" he says.

Daichi laughs nervously and pat's Joe's shoulder before going towards the Digimon and kneels down in the sand next to Gomamon "To answer your question, Gomamon, a parent is usually a human male and female who gives birth and raise children of their own." he explained without going too far into detail.

"Does anybody have any loose change?" Tai asks as everyone turns their attention to him.

"Why?" Koushiro asks.

"Obviously I'm gonna make a phone call and get some help" Taichi explains.

"Oh, use my phone card, the aliens can bill me" Koushiro says as he hands Tai his card.

"Maybe there's quoter slots in one of those booths" Takeru says before running towards the booth.

"I'm calling Daddy" Mimi says as she goes to another booth.

Dai and Hiro look at each other "you make the call Dai; I'll stay and check out the bags" Hiro tells his older twin who nods.

"Alright, don't get too far" Daichi says before running to the booth and tries to call.

Hiro nods before walking away from the group and sitting in the warm sand; Hiro sighs taking in the relief of resting his legs. A small squeaking sound from his arms made him look down and smile.

"Are you awake now, Lunamon?" He then asks.

Lunamon yawns and smiles at the boy, rubbing the sleep from her eyes "Yeah, I'm awake; seeing and fighting a Kuwagamon really tires you out" she says, jumping out of his arms and landing on his lap.

Kazuhiro went on and check on the stuff that he has on both his and Daichi's backpacks before hum, think "That should last us about five to six days if we ration evenly with the others and whatever food they have. How about parts and medical supplies?" he questions himself before checking on the bags once again. 

"You've got plenty of each" Lunamon says looking at her partner who holds a tiny white bag with a green cross.

Hiro nods "That's good, in this place, we'll need all the parts and medicines we can get in case something goes wrong" he says.

After a few minutes of repacking the food and supplies, everyone, except Joe, came over to sit with him.

"Very curious, does Joe always behave like this?" Koushiro asked as they watch Joe type numbers into the phonebooth.

"Every single day." Tai answers.

"No matter what number or how many times he dials, those phones aren't gonna work." Yamato says.

"Well, I'm gonna keep searching for a boat or something." Tai says as he stands up but was stopped by Yamato.

"Hey, wait a minute! Even though we can't call out of here, there might always be a chance that someone could call in to us." Yamato tells Tai.

"It's a waste of time just sitting here and doing nothing." Taichi says.

Kazuhiro gets in between the two of them "you two made valuable points here, but I don't think that's simple for both ways, think about it we're stuck in God knows where we are, this situation is a gambling game because who know whether there's a possibility that they will call us back or a possibility that the other line didn't got the call nor is it ringing from their line" he explains, Both Yamato and Taichi look down knowing that Kazuhiro's right "for now let's take a break, if you haven't notice the others are exhausted" Hiro adds as he points at the exhausted Mimi and Tk.

"And I'm getting pretty hungry too" Koushiro says.

Daichi crosses his arms "You know why, because we haven't eaten yet. Okay, break time everybody" Dai said.

Sora sighs with relief, "Does anyone else have any food? I think the only thing I have is..." She says before gasp and pulls out the small device they all received, "Is that gadget that fell out of the sky" she then said.

"I forgot all about those weird gizmos." Tai gasps as he pulls out his own device.

Mimi looks over at her device that's attached on her bag strap "If anybody's got a pink one, I'll trade." Mimi says.

"What are they anyway?" Takeru questions.

"We wouldn't have them if they weren't important" Matt said.

Daichi pulls out the device that he has attached to his belt 'I might sound crazy, but I have a feeling that, these might be the cause our help with our Digimon's Digivolution' Daichi thought

"If I could take mine apart..." Koushiro was interrupted by his grumbling stomach, "That is after I have something to eat, I'm really famished" he says.

"Well, the only thing that I have is my emergency supplies. It's got a first aid kit, some bandages and some medicine, but that's about all I've got." Sora says as she pulls out her supplies.

"I have my trusty laptop computer, and a digital camera, of and I've got a small cellphone, too." Koushiro says "Of course none of them has worked since we got here" he adds.

Taichi laughs "I can't believe you dragged all that computer stuff to summer camp" he then says.

Koushiro looks up at Taichi "And what do you have?" he asks.

"Oh, well, there's my mini telescope" Tai says as he shows what he only has.

"Sorry, but I don't have anything to eat, either." Yamato says.

Takeru gasps "Hey look at what I brought!" Tk says happily as he opens his bag to show off all the goodies he had packed.

"Wow, look at all those goodies" Mimi state "Why don't you be a good little boy and share those treats with dear sweet Mimi" she says looking at the goodies like a predator looking at its prey.

"Aw, you don't have to be so nice, Mimi. I'm happy to share, you're the best, isn't she cute?" He asks his older brother, but Yamato turned away.

"Forget it!" he says.

"What about you, two? You got anything to eat?" Tai asks the twins.

Dai and Hiro look at each other and nod and proceed to dump out all the food and supplies they both had in their backpacks.

"We've packed plenty of food and medical supplies." Hiro says.

"Say, Mimi, what's in that big bag of yours, some hairbrushes and makeup?" Sora jokingly asks.

"Um, well let's take a look," Mimi says as she pulls out whatever was in her bag, "Here's a compass, cooking fuel, flashlight, one of those knives with all the things, and some other stuff." she explains.

They all gasp at her supplies. It was kind of strange to see a girl like her with such supplies in her bag.

"Why didn't you say you had a compass back when we needed one?" Yamato ask the pink hat female.

Mimi smile "I just thought it would be kind of fun to see how far we could get without one, besides it's broken" she explains.

Hiro sighs "At least she has some other useful items" he hears his brother saying.

"Yeah, we could use the cooking fuel to start a signal fire." Matt suggests.

"That's true, or we could barbeque some telephones." Sora jokingly suggests.

"Oh, boy, check out the genius." Tai says looking back at Joe who still attempted to call for help, "See, he's trying to call the telephone repairman because the telephones won't work, problem is... look! Joe got the emergency food!" he then realizes.

They all gasp and stare at the large bag Joe was carrying this whole time.

"Joe, hey Joe, look! You've got all the food!" Tai shouts.

Joe turns around, "Hey, don't you know it's rude to interrupt someone when they're on the telephone?" He shouts back.

"But that bag..." Koushiro says.

"This? I just brought it to give to Mimi, today was her day to carry the bag!" Joe explains.

Palmon looks at Mimi "I think he likes you" she says.

Mimi tilts her head "hm... I don't think is like that" Mimi says unsure about what Palmon mean.

Daichi on the other hand frown a little but shakes his head as he sees Joe running up to them.

Joe runs up to Mimi and held out the bag, "Mimi you have got to stop thinking of yourself and do something to help somebody else for once. Take a little responsibility!" he tells her.

"But, that bag's too heavy for me" Mimi complains.

"But Mimi" Joe whine before Daichi gets in between the two.

"Okay, let's talk about the bag responsibilities some other time, but listen, the most important thing is that we've got some food to eat, so let's sit down and have some lunch, alright?" Daichi says while putting a hand on Joe's chest and Mimi's shoulders.

the two then nod and Daichi smile before it fades quickly just as he noticed the hand in another male's body which Daichi move his hand away and walks away and helps Hiro and the others pour out whatever food they have and divide it up.

"Okay, let's figure this out, there's nine people in this group times three days, times three meals, that comes to..." Joe says as he tries to figure out the math.

"Eighty-one meals" Koushiro quickly did the math surprising the taller boy.

"All right, so split evenly between us that makes it..." Joe says as he tries to figure out the math again.

"Enough food for three days, at the very least." Koushiro quickly answers.

"But guys, but when you added the digimon and you really have enough food for a little more than half an hour." Sora pointed out.

"Not a problem at all, we digimon hunt and forage for ourselves." Gabumon said.

"No need to include us in your calculations." Tentomon added.

Sora looks at Piyomon "you guys sure?" she asks unsurely.

The pink bird Digimon nods "absolutely" she responds.

"Okay, now that that's been taken care of, let's go ahead and divide this by the nine people here." Joe said, but the heavy munching of Agumon and Tai said that they already had their share.

Kazuhiro and Daichi I gave Lunamon and Coronamon some chocolate they have, which they ate happily. Suddenly, a low grumble reaches the twins' ears.

Piyomon and the twins stands up, "What's the matter you three?" Sora asks.

"trouble" Piyomon says. 

All of a sudden, a pillar of water shoots out of the ocean and destroys the phonebooths completely.

"What was that?" Tai asks as a large pile of sand rise from the ground.

"Shellmon!" Tentomon state.

"What's a Shellmon?" Koushiro asks.

"Something that gets mad for no reason" Tentomon explains.

It was large and had a gray spiked shell, a pink body came out of the she'll with green tentacles on its head and large arms, hands and fingers.

"Attacked by two digital monsters in the same day. And doesn't Shellmon know I'm allergic to shellfish?" Joe said, running to the cliff, "Everyone, up here!" He shouted, climbing the Cliffside.

Shellmon lowered his head and sprayed a high-pressure pillar of water at the cliff, and at Joe the water then knocked the boy with glasses off the cliffside only for Daichi to catch him.

"I got you" he tells the taller male.

Joe blushes a bit "t-thanks" he says.

Daichi nods before putting the boy with glasses down.

All the digimon attacked their best ability, but for some reason, only Agumon was able to attack at full force. The other digimon were barely able to manifest their powers.

"What's happening to them?" Koushiro asks.

"It looks like they've lost their power" Yamato states.

Shellmon shot water at all the digimon, but before he could get to Lunamon and Coronamon, the twins raced towards them, picked their Digimon up and duck the attack on time.

"Agumon!" Tai shouts at his partner Digimon who got up and runs back to battle.

"Lunamon are you okay?" Hiro ask his Digimon partner.

Lunamon looks back at Hiro "I'm the one who should be asking you that question" she respond.

"I am now, sorry if I worried you" Hiro apologize.

Daichi looks back at the other Digimon trying to fight Shellmon more specifically Agumon "if you can't battle at least, we can assist the other Digimon from landing hard" he suggests.

Hiro, Lunamon, and Coronamon nod in agreement before they run off.

"Oi! what are you doing!" Yamato calls the twins

the group minus Tai all see Daichi catching Patamon "you did everything you could, don't blame yourself for lack of power" he says to Tk's partner who nodded in respond and Daichi nods back.

Hiro Catches Palmon who was about to fall in the water, and they landed "you're safe, now" he tells the plant Digimon

"Thanks Hiro" Palmon says.

Coronamon and Lunamon jumps on Shellmon

"Corona Flame!" Coronamon shout as he fires a flaming shot at the Shellmon which hits.

"Tear Shot!" Lunamon shouts as she fires a beautiful water orb at Shellmon which also hit.

"Why is it only Agumon, Lunamon, and Coronamon who are able to fight?" Izzy asked.

"We're just too hungry" Tentomon says weakly.

Yamato helps his Digimon partner to sit up "Gabumon" he calls his Digimon.

"I don't have any strength" The blue digimon state looking at Yamato weakly.

"That's it!" Sora realizes as she stands up with an injured Piyomon in her arms, "Agumon's the only one who had anything to eat. and I guess Lunamon and Coronamon as well" she adds.

"Agumon, Coronamon, Lunamon, looks like is up to you three now" Tai says as the three mentioned Digimon nod.

they watch as Tai runs around Shellmon, grabbed a metal pole and stabbed him with it while Agumon fires his Pepper Breath attack along with Lunamon and Coronamon's attacks.

Kazuhiro and Daichi nod at each other and run as and grab some part of the sand and throws it at Shellmon's eye before they ended up being trapped by Shellmon's tentacles along with Taichi

"Hang on guys!" Agumon says as Shellmon traps Agumon with one of his hands.

"Agumon" the Digimon sibling calls the orange Digimon before launching their attacks "Holy Shot/Tear Shot!" they shout as their attack hit Shellmon but only for them to be trapped by Shellmon's other hand which they struggle to try to break free.

"Agumon!" Tai calls his Digimon.

"Lunamon/Coronamon!" the Twins call theirs.

Shellmon launches his water attack and hits the others and their Digimon pushing them away.

"Everyone!" Tai shouts as he struggles to break free from Shellmon's tentacles.

"Oh no!" the Twins also shout.

the three of them start to groan in pain from Shellmon's tight grip. 

Kazuhiro touches the device attached to his belt and looks at it and sees that it starts to glow along with Tai's and Daichi's that made the youngest twin's eyes widen with shock.

"Digivolve!" Kazuhiro hears Agumon Lunamon and Coronamon yell with shock.

Just then, a high-pitched squeal rings through the air, and Agumon, Lunamon and Coronamon gets covered in a bright light.

everyone begins to stare in amazement as the three Digimon changes.

"Agumon Shinka... Greymon!"

"Coronamon Shinka... Firamon!"

"Lunamon Shinka... Lekismon!"

The light faded and the three Digimon gets replaced with a huge dinosaur wearing a brown horned helmet and covered in blue stripes, Red Lion with yellow mane wearing some metal armor and bigger rabbit with blue and yellow lining on its body wearing a blueberry-ish lavender color Protrustion on her back and a silver helmet which it's beautiful yet fierce.

the three Digimon throw Shellmon to the ground resulting in Tai, Hiro, and Dai's release. Greymon chuckled as he stared at the Shellmon.

"Hey, we'd Digivolved!" Lekismon says looking at herself with shock.

"Yeah, we became champion level, We're Firamon, Lekismon, and Greymon!" Firamon state standing next to the rabbit Digimon.

Shellmon charges at Greymon and shoots water at the large orange dinosaur, but Greymon's stronger; he breathes flames and used his new horns to flip Shellmon into the air.

"Lekismon, Firamon now!" Greymon yells at the other Digimon who nod and fire their attacks.

Firamon concentrates all of its energy into his forehead "Fira Bomb!" he yells as he fires a Flaming bomb.

"Tear Arrow!" Lekismon yells as she pulls beautiful arrows of ice from the protrusions on its back and fires them at Shellmon.

Both attacks merch into one white color blast and hits straight at Shellmon sending far away in the ocean later then the three Bigger Digimon turns back into Agumon, Lunamon and Firamon.

Hiro smiles, holding Lunamon close to his chest and so did Daichi with Coronamon.

"You both did it" Dai says to Coronamon and Lunamon.

the two digimon giggle before yawning and the two of them fall asleep in their chest.

Hiro giggle "looks like these two had a long well-deserved rest, don't you think Dai" he asks his older twin.

Daichi nod "they sure do" he respond.

"So, there's no reason to stay here now" Tai then says.

Yamato looks at Joe who seems to be trying to call and see if the phone still works "so who's gonna break the bad news to Joe" he asks.

Daichi sigh and hands Coronamon to his twin "I'll do it" he says as he walks towards the taller boy "hey, Joe we're heading off" he says Joe looks up at Daichi who warmly smiles at Joe as if the sunlight bounces on that smile "come on, we still have a long way to go"

"O-Okay" Joe then says as he and Daichi catches up with the others and they all walk into a new adventure.
