Darkness

Darkness was all I could see

Smoke

The smell of smoke overwhelmed my lunges,causing me to cough

Air

I was in desperate need for fresh air

Drowning

It felt as though I was drowning,defenceless to the creatures that lurked just out of sight

"Help me" god I sounded pitiful

"Please help me,someone,anyone " you're not a child Doll,you don't need help

"SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME" no ones going to come,you deserve to die here,in the rubble and smoke of your fathers home.

"Are you In need of help,tell me what your darkest desires is,I can make it happen,who do you wish dead,hurt,forgotten " a soft smooth voice asked,as if the smoke wasn't affecting it.

"N-no one,I can't wish someone dead,it's horrible "I responded,opening my eye,before me stood a figure,covered in black,the faint outline of a female body stood there,looking down at me.

The figure giggled into her outlined hand.

"That's not possible,you must wish wrong on someone,The Phantomhive boy as one,your brother Peter as another,must I name More" the Figure asked,tilting her head in a child like manor.

"But I don't want them dead " was all I could muster.

"Do you not my sweet,then what do you wish" the finger questioned.

"I wish to be back with my siblings,back at the circus,safe from others" I whispered.

"Then dear,all you need to do is make a deal" the figure said,sticking out the outline of her arm,I lifted my arm up to meet hers before shaking her hand.

A waterfall of colour washed over my vision,causing me to shut my eye to block out the light,wind rushing over me,forcing the hair which was stuck to my forehead and cheeks to come free.

"We're here M'Lady"

I opened my eyes,looking around the home like area.

"How the hell-"

"Don't question it,I'll explain in time,as for now,I do believe you have some other troupe members to find"

I put my head down,looking at my hands,both of which had slight burn marks on them.

"Can you get rid of them" I asked the figure,who nodded.

"I can do practically anything,young one" the figure responded,taking my hand.

And with that the burns were gone,I looked at my delicate,pale skin,noticing a mark on my wrist.

"What's this" I asked the figure.

"It's a seal of approval to say,a way to show we've made a contact " the figure explained.

"If you don't mind me asking,what do I call you,a name to say" I asked.

"What do you wish to call me,you may choose " the figure responded.

"Mira"

"Mira?"

"It sounds like mirror,a example of the way you found me,broken and shattered,along with that I think it's a very pretty name" I stated.

"I like it,it has a nice tone to it"

And with that,Mira's appearance and changed,from a dark outline to pale skin,Coal black hair falling down her back,velvet red eyes having a soft glint in them,body adorned in a pitch black dress,shadow like stilettos improving her height.

"It's a pleasure to meet you My lady,I'm your lawful maid Mira" she smiled and bowed.

"It's a pleasure to meet you as well Mira"

"Now my lady,I do recommend you go see your siblings,they are who you wished to see" Mira recommend,smiling at her new Mistress.

"Is it safe?are they here" I questioned.

"Yes,I can come with you if you wish"

"Can you,I don't feel like I can face them alone yet" I asked,Mira nodded and we made our way around the tents to the higher tear area.

"Are you really, Young Mistress?" Mira asked me,I smiled and looked ahead.

"Ready as I'll ever be"

My footsteps felt light,as though I couldn't control my body, I took a slow step,getting back the sensation of walking on the dewey grass,droplets of water appeared on my shoes, I was grateful for the cardigan I always wore as I fell future into the warmth that still clung to it.

"Are you worried,I'm here my lady" Mira said,looking down at me.

"A bit,I'm not sure what to expect when I see them,what do I tell them,will they hate me for not saving him,what if I'm shunned from them because I'm the soul survivor " I asked,pulling at my sleeves.

"They're your family are they not,are you sure they would do that,believe it or not,they adore you,you're their prized possession,in my opinion I don't think they would shun you" Mira explained,taking my hands from my sleeves.

"Alright" I smiled slightly and continued walking,Mira Following shortly behind.

"DOLL,ARE YOU HERE,I NEED YOU TO ANSWER US" I turned the corner and saw the worried faces of my older siblings.

"I'm here" I whispered,taking a step forward.

The others turned,i smiled slightly and continued walking.

"WHERE WERE YOU,WHY ARE WE BACK HERE" Peter asked,I winced slightly at the yelling.

"I was at fathers house,as for why we're all back here,I'm not sure how" I said,looking over each member.

"Where's Joker?" Beast asked,I avoided eye contact with eldest female.

I stayed quiet,avoiding the looks from my siblings.

"Doll,where's joker" Beast asked,I bit my lip,causing it to bleed slightly,I heard footsteps come up behind me,I turned and looked at Mira,who looked down at me.

"Are you alright My lady" Mira asked,I shock my head 'no' and bit my lip harder,causing my lip to bleed worse.

"I'm here My lady"

"Doll,who's this" Dagger asked,looking at Mira.

"My name is Mira Arianis,I was orphaned at a young age and was passing by when I saw this young lady in the rubble of a house,Kelvin Manor,in which I assume belonged to a family member or some such ,I do hope you don't mind" Mira spoke,smiling at the other troupe members.

"Did you find anyone else" Beast asked,voice tinted with hope,a light glimmer in her eyes.

That glimmer disappeared when Mira shook her head.

"I'm sorry " I whispered,keeping my head down to avoid the depressed looks from the others.

"My lady tried everything she could" Mira lied,I didn't try anything,all I did was plead like a child.

"You called her 'your lady ' why?" Wendy asked Mira.

"She offered me a job,I do hope you don't mind" Mira answered,looking down at me again,am I really that short?.

"O-of course not,I'm just wondering if it's a good idea since the last people we hired ran away after 2 days" Dagger explained,Awkwardly smiling.

"I'm very aware of that,my lady told me that already " Mira spoke.

"Alright,should we start getting back to work" I asked,finally meeting the eyes of my older siblings.

"Let's do it"
