Being a basically a human with wings that has magic (a fae), you saw magical things all the time. In fact, you saw them so much that they became boring and normal. Until now.

A few days ago, you met an elf named Suou. He had saved you from a human's deadly trap. It was love at first sight and you couldn't stop thinking about him and vice versa. The two of you talked in secret in the afternoon.

Unfortunately, the fae and elves living in the same forest was bound to cause trouble. Fights for territory had begun to break out, and being one of the (captain) warrior fae, you had to fight.

"Clear!" You made the motion to go forward. Your squad and you flew forward a little bit before almost immediately ducking for cover behind tree trunks.

In front of you was a beautiful garden. Tending to it in the middle was your love, Suou. He hummed peacefully, not knowing what was to come. You made a few motions for them to avoid him and continue forward without you.

After they left, you approached Suou. "Hey Suou," you start to speak, unsure. He looked up with a bright smile. Oh, Suou...

"Hello, (Name)! How are you today?" Suou noticed your hesitation to respond. "Are you alright? What's wrong?"

You hugged him. "I'm so sorry," you whispered, starting to sob. "I'm so sorry, Suou!"

He hugged back, whispering soothing things back. Then, you heard a stranger's voice. You weren't listening until you had an arrow in your back. You let go of Suou to see who shot the arrow. An elf!

You fell over on your side as another arrow hit your shoulder. The instant the arrow hit, you were out like a light. Later, you heard from another fae who also died that the fae had lost terribly to the elves, mainly because of the poisoned arrows.

"I died by poison? Well, shit," you muttered to yourself. You felt someone tap your nonexistent shoulder. You looked over. "Suou? How'd you die, buddy?"

"I poisoned myself by accident on one of the flowers I was growing.."

"How the FUCK do you do that?" You almost shout. "How the actual fuck? You're lying, aren't you?"

"Maybe," Suou replied bashfully, not meeting your gaze. "I kinda just wanted to see you again."

A blond elf approached the two of you. "Woah, Suou has a girlfriend? Hey, I'm Nibi."

You just facepalmed, mildly annoyed. I died for this bullshit? God must really hate me.
