He glanced over at you.

"You know.. I love you, right?"

Ouni hugged you as an answer. You knew he didn't talk much, and cared for all his friends very dearly.

That's why you loved moments like these, where he held you close. "I love you, too," Ouni mumbled quietly into your ear, which made you snuggle closer.

Nibi watched in the corner of his eye, in jealousy. He didn't comment on it though, and stuck with watching the never ending sea of sand. Maybe in another world he'll get to hold you like Ouni does.
