Let's go on a date! (not edited)

Chakuro had a day off, so he decided to ask (Name) on a.. very special date. He told her that he had work halfway through the day, and prepared for the date during that time.

The flower shop was the second stop, after getting a card to go along with the flowers.

"Hey Sami, how do I say 'you're perfect and I love you' in flower?" Chakuro walked up the girl behind the front counter. She giggled quietly, before handing him ten red roses.

"Here you go, Chakuro."

The next thing to do on his list is to actually ask (Name) out to pop the question. They had been dating for a year and a few months. Today was the big day.

"Hey (Name)—"

"Hm?"

"Let's go on a—"

Suddenly, the ice cream truck drove by. "Let's go get icecream, Chakuro!"

The first attempt conclusion: failure.

And so, Chakuro kept failing at asking (Name) on a date. Until..

"(Name), please focus on me."

(Name) turned her attention on her boyfriend in surprise. Chakuro never really said anything like that. "O-Okay.."

"I- uh- let's go on a date!"

The fifth attempt conclusion: success.

"Chakuro, why are we here?"

The two got out of the car, and Chakuro led his girlfriend to a cliff overlooking the sea.

"Woah.." (Name) suddenly noticed the beautiful view, much to Chakuro's frustration. He just sighed, and fumbled with the small box behind his back with a nervous, uneasy expression. "Chakuro, look at this view!"

(Name) turned to Chakuro with an apologetic expression. "Sorry, what were you saying?"

Chakuro took a deep breath. This was the moment. He's got this.

"(Name), the moment I saw you, it was love at first sight. I thought you were out of my league a-and I know you still are. I love the way you talk, I love the way you cheer people up.." He continued to list the things he loved about his girlfriend. "And most importantly.. I love you! Please marry me!"

Chakuro got on a knee and opened up the box, embarrassed. He closed his eyes, afraid of rejection. (Name) started to sob, and covered her mouth. Taking that as rejection, Chakuro started to get up and put the box away. "I-I'm sorry—"

(Name) suddenly hugged Chakuro. "I love you so much! Of course I'll marry you!"

And so, the engaged couple hugged as the sun set. They would be happy the rest of their lives because they had each other.
