-Rainbow Dash POV-

Me and the girls decided to take a break from all the research and take a walk in the park. Surprisingly, no one was there. 

“Does it seem a bit to quiet for all of you?” Sunset asked looking around.

I felt a dark presence and immediately knew who it was. I pushed my friends to the side right before tentacle like shadows come up from where they were standing seconds earlier.

We quickly stood up and I glared at the black and white form of Soarin. He chuckled, “Always one to protect those you create Eabah.” He said with an evil smirk. “Though even you know that they’ll die eventually. You’re just prolonging the inevitable.”

“What are you saying?” I said acting oblivious.

“Oh, Eabah. Did you honestly think you could hide from me?”

“What are you talking about?” I said hoping he wouldn’t reveal my secret. “And the name’s Rainbow Dash.”

“Is that what they call you here? I’m surprised they haven’t realized yet.”

“I don’t know what you’re saying, but you need to leave.”

He seemed really done so he pulled his wild card. “I’ll make sure you watch as I take away your precious Felix.”

That made me snap as my eyes let off an angry white glow. “You do so much as touch him and I’ll banish you to the NothingTerror!”

He smirked having accomplished his goal and I realized what I said and hoped by friends didn’t notice. “Rainbow?” Oh lightyears. “What is he talking about?” Fluttershy asked.

Before I could answer, Lucifer sent his shadows towards them. Thinking fast, I created a wall of vines that protected them from his touch.

Everyone let out a cry of shock at the sudden appearance of the plants while Sunset looked at me worried. 

Lucifer tried to get them again, but I turned the wall into a protective ball of vines so he won't be able to touch them. 

Battle ensued between us. Me with various plants and him with shadow. Let's just say, I'm glad the park was empty.

-Third person-
-In The Ball-

"What the hay is going on!" Applejack shouted once they were secured in the vines.

Sunset stayed silent as the others panicked. Rarity tried to cut the vines with her gems, but Sunset stopped her. "What do you think you're doing? Do you want to be out there with that thing?"

"Rainbow is out there darling! We can't just stand by and do nothing!"

"How are you so calm Sunset?" Twilight asked? "Do you know what's going on?"

Sunset hesitated then looked down. "I looked into her memories. What's going on isn't my place to tell."

-Rainbow Dash POV-

Lucifer fled so I opened the ball of vines to see a sight I hoped I'd never see. The girls were looking at me with mostly anger and hurt with a hint of fear and confusion. Sunset stood in the back with a look of sympathy and a touch of nervousness.

"Um, girls? Are you o…"

"Who are you?" Twilight interrupted me a fire in her eyes.

"What do you mean? I'm Rainbow Dash."

"Don't lie to us Sugarcube." Applejack said with a slight glare. "These new powers that you showed are something the girl we know would never earn with the magic we share. Who are you?"

I looked at each of their faces and confusion became the prominant emotion in their eyes. I had two choices. Either I could continue to lie like I have been doing a lot lately, or I could tell them the truth. Inevitably, I chose the last option.

I took a deep breath of my sister's surprisingly calming creation before looking at them again. "You win." I paused trying to force the words to come out of my mouth. "My name is Eabah." They began to freak out. "Girls, it's ok." I said coming towards them.

They all stepped back with my advances. "How do we know we can trust you?" Applejack asked scared.

I stopped walking speaking in a comforting tone. "I'm still the same person. I haven't changed. I just have more magic and with the wisdom of the universe. Rainbow Dash is Eabah. Eabah is Rainbow Dash. You haven't lost her. Not really." I then decided to sing the song AJ listened in on, but only the part I sang to her.

"Nothing's gone forever
Only, out of place

So when you need their touch
And loving gaze"

Sunset joined me.

"Gone but forgotten
Is the perfect phrase"

Then AJ joined.

"Smiling from a star
That she makes glow"

Me: "Trust we're always there

Sunset: "Watching as we grow"

AJ: "Find them in the place"

All three: "Where the lost things go."

Trust gained again, I gave them a hug as a select few cried. "Let's go home. We don't want to face Lucifer in his element."

So I lead them all home one by one till they all were safe inside. Once I reached my own, I began to mentally prepare myself and rest my mortal form. I knew that they would be to emotionally drained to mention anything, and I was glad. I also knew I would need to tell them soon, but people other than them would be better off not knowing for now.

I'll be doing more explaining than I have since I moved to earth and I am not looking forward to it.

I always try to keep things vague so my creations can find it out their own and feel that sense of accomplishment and grow, but I know that they wouldn't let me go without a full explanation. So I'll do my best.
