History/Quick backstory: Priyanka is a poor Indian girl. She lived in a village with her brother Pavitr. Their parents died a long time ago. Eventually the siblings move to Mumbai/Mumhattan India to live with their aunt Maya and uncle Bhim. The siblings managed to get scholarships that allowed them to attend school. Pavitr met an ancient yogi who gave him the spider powers needed to fight the evil that threatens their world. Priyanka discovered that her brother had the powers when she discovered him sneaking in late one night. And now she helps her brother with whatever he needs, usually getting into trouble with him. Their uncle died trying to help save a woman in a mugging. The death motivated the siblings to be more active in saving the world. And now Priyanka has been sucked into the chaos that is the spider-verse, helping out the other spider-people (her friends).
