Beeep Beep

I wake to the annoying bleeping sound in my ears. My body hurts, so much pain. There's something in my arm and over my face. Opening my eyes I find that I have a needle in my arm.

For some reason.....and a oxygen mask over my mouth for another. Sitting next to me is a worried Mabel while our parents are no where to be seen.

"Hey....are you okay?" She asks in a whisper.

Does she think I'm fragile? That I'll break at an moment!? Ugh! I'm not....how did I get here? What happened and why do I feel like something's missing.

"Oh he's awake good." A female doctor exclaims when coming in.

"Can you remember anything Mason?" She asks.

Frowning I try to remember the thing I'm missing but it's just a blur in my mind.

"I think so.... something's missing."

After more questions and four days at the hospital I got to go home. Something was always missing and I can't put my finger on it. But whatever it is, mom and dad are happy that it's gone.

I hate them. They should help me find it or tell me what it is. But I guess I'll never know.
