Manik and Nandini have been best friends since they were children. Nandini couldn't live without Manik and Manik can't live without Nandini. They did everything together.

Manik left their country home and settled in the city because Manik's dad got a better job. Yet they still stayed in contact with each other. Every week they exchanged messages with each other.

Manik soon fell in love with Nandini. Her messages made him feel loved and wanted. Her cuteness and her child like personality made him want to spend the rest of his life with her. He was sure she would make a good wife and a companion. His love for her grew but he didn't know whether to tell her. He was scared that their friendship will break.

Nandini however, started to get butterflies in her stomach whenever she gets to see a notification of Manik's message popped up in her phone. Her face began to glow of happiness. She didn't understand why she felt like this. Everything that she looked at reminded her of Manik.

Manik send a message to Nandini telling her he is coming to see her. Nandini was over the moon to see Manik after so many years... She couldn't wait to see him. Manik was nervous but delighted to go and see his friend.

The day arrived. Manik and Nandini met each other at the lake where they used to play. Their eyes met but they turned away quickly as sudden shyness took over. They both didn't know what to say.

After 3 hours of silence, Manik said good bye to Nandini and left. Nandini wanted to stop him but words would not come out. So she began to cry. As she was about to leave she saw a card and bunch of red roses. She slowly opened the card. Manik left a card saying how he felt about her. Nandini began to cry again but of happiness. She turned around to go home and there he was standing with a smile that melted her heart.

After this Manik and Nandini have promised to remain faithful to one another for as long as they both shall live. Theirs is a match made in heaven. Their parents have been friends for a long time, and they have accepted the fact that, someday, their children will get married and start a family of their own.

Anyone who sees them would think that they are two people very much in love with each other. Their friends can only hope they will one day find a love that was as true and lasting as theirs.

Little did anyone suspect that their relationship will go through something very painful and tragic. You see, Nandini recently sought the help of their family doctor because her headaches have become frequent, and she can hardly get up from bed every time she had one of her headaches.

She didn't tell anyone that she went to see the doctor, not even Manik knew. This morning, she found out that her headaches were caused by a tumor they found inside her head. Until they open her up, they will never know her chances of survival.

"Why now? Why is this happening to me?" She cried out. "Please don't let me die!" She pleaded.

How will she tell her parents what was going on? How can she break her lover's heart with this very sad news? As these questions run through her mind, she knew that she had to face the truth sooner or later. She knew she had to tell them. She had to prepare them for what could happen after the operation.

She prepared a sumptuous feast one evening, and she invited both her family and Manik's family for dinner. She wanted to tell them together. They deserved to know. After dinner that night, she broke the bad news. Everyone was in shock. Her parents were inconsolable, as was Manik and his family.

"We will fight this!" Her parents determinedly said.

Manik, on the other hand, simply took her in his arms and cried.

"I won't let anything happen to you Nandu....Don't worry..I am there for you!" He whispered as he was hugging her.

Nandini chuckled : "Manik! Try to understand....I have very less chance of survival....Will you please move on...?"

Manik interrupted her talks by keeping his fingers on her lips..

Manik shook his head in No...

Manik with little anger : "No....I won't....Get it clear in your mind Miss.Nandini Murthy....You cannot just like that escape from me.....You have to live your life with me...You have to be my Wife.. ..You have to be the mother of our child....We have to grow old together....Don't ever forget this!"

But Manik anger reduced within a second and his eyes welled up with tears...

Manik hugged Nandini as if no air can pass between them.

Hearing what Manik told, Nandini
who kept worrying about her fate till this second, now wanted to live with him, be his wife, be the mother of his child.....and grow old with him...

Nandini in mind prayed to God : "Please God! I want to live with him....Help me to survive please"

Saying this she too crushed herself more and more in Manik's chest...as if this is gonna be their last hug...

That had been six months ago.

Malhotra Mansion.....

Now we can see a couple in their birth suit covered by the duvet......It's morning 8.00 am, but it seems they are very much tired to get up after their long makeout session that they had .....

The man woke up first due to the sunrays and looked at his beautiful wife sleeping next to him..

He kissed the woman's forehead...

Since they are getting late for the doctor checkup...he wanted to wake up his wife now immediately.

The Man : "Nandu? Nandu dear...Wake up please..."

Saying this the person kissed Nandini's nose...

Nandini angrily : "Manik! Don't wake me up now...You made me very tired ....Leave from here"

Manik sternly : "Nandu! Its you started all this...I was firm in my stand they we should not do all these things when you are pregnant....But you and your pregnancy hormones!"

Saying this Manik hitted his forehead and made faces

Nandini chuckled looking at Manik's expressions!

Flashback -- before 6 months

Nandini was taken inside the Operation theatre for removing the tumor....

The operation was successful and Nandini survived....Ofcourse it was the one and only wish of TWO CHILDHOOD SWEETHEARTS!

Present

Nandini with fake anger : "Manik! You are getting angry on me....You don't love me at all nowadays"

Manik panicked : "No...No my Nandu dear....I love you very much...I love you more than anything in this world.." ❤️❤️❤️

Saying this he hugged Nandini.

Manik is very much afraid since it is getting very very difficult to handle Nandini's moodswings....

Since Nandini and Manik are still under duvet, Manik's hands are freely roaming inside the duvet on her body...

Nandini praised herself in mind for making her plan work...

Manik : "Nandu?"

Nandini : "Hmmm?"

Manik sheepishly : "It seems we have two more hours for our appointment with doctor.....Can we go for another round?"

Nandini smiled : "With pleasure"

Saying this Nandini pulled Manik over her and the rest is history.....🙈
