"Y/n? Whatdaya need?" Hosuku said through my phone.
"Nothing, I'm just bored." I said to Hosuku, not wanting to admit I missed him being right next to me.
"Uh-huh, so it's not that you miss me or anything? 'Cuz you looked really sad when you dropped me back at my place~" Hosuku teased.
"Haha, sure chicken wing. Believe what you want. Anyway~ whatcha doin'?" I asked.
"I'm talking to you of course." He said, knowing that's not what I ment.
"Oh, ha ha. You know what I mean." I sarcastically laughed, maybe a bit to sarcastically.
"I was actually about to call you but you beat me to the chase." He said with a laugh at the end.
"Really? Wereyou going to check in on me?" I asked and he replied with a short yep and popped the 'p'.
I bit my lip. My headache was killing me but I took some painkillers and in not to long that should start to kick in. No point in boring him.
"Well I'm perfectly fine!" I smiled, even though Hosuku couldn't see me, in case mum walked in my room and saw my distraught face that I sometimes make when I lie. Even if it's not a big lie.
"Ok. I got to go now anyways. See ya tomorrow?" Hosuku asked but hung up before I could reply. Weird.
Before I could even think about putting my phone down I got a message.

1 message: Kai

I reluctantly opened the message expecting some 'r u ok??' message only to find something different.

I waited 5 minutes for a response but didn't get one. I sighed and chucked my phone beside me on the bed. I grabbed a pillow and arranged it so I could sleep. Unfortunately, it took quiet a while for those painkillers to kick in.

I slept through most of Sunday, only waking to eat some chocolate and go toilet.
"Y/n? I said you could stay home today?" Mum said as I walked into the kitchen.
"Oh. Did you? Well, I'm ready now." I said chucking some bread into the toaster.
"Are you feeling alright for school?" She asked worridly.
I smiled and nodded then started humming [favourite song] as I spread chocolate spread in my toast.

Mum drove me to school just in case I changed my mind, which I did not. I walked into my home group and sat in the back of the room.
"Hey." Kai said when he walked into the classroom and sat in front of me. I didn't say anything in response because he would probably ask if I was meeting him behind the gym. I didn't know if I would so I decided to quickly ask some advice from the most reliable person I knew.

After the text conversation I felt a little better. Somehow it was reassuring to have Hosuku coming too.

Home group and English, my1st lesson, went quickly. I was going to ask Kai if we should go to behind the gym together but he left before me. I didn't even get a chance to tell him Hosuku was coming too.
I grabbed a snack from a vending machine and walked slowly to the gym.
Behind, Kai was waiting there, scrolling on his phone.
"Hey. Whatdaya want to meet for?" I asked.
"Oh hey. I just wanted to ask you something." He answered. We stood in silence for a bit and I raised my eyebrows in question. What was he going to ask?
"Right... Come closer first." He beckoned for me to come forward. I took a couple steps so that we were only a metre apart. He stepped closer and I attempted to back but was grabbed by my shoulder.
"Uh, what are you doing?" I asked and tried to shake him off.
"Why Hosuku? Of all the quirkful pricks!!" He half yelled. I would have panicked had I not seem a familiar pair of red wing walking towards us from a distance.
"What do you mean?" I asked calmly.
"I mean, we're both quirkless! Aren't I perfect? Handsome, equal to you, nice!!"
"You forgot full of yourself, a little psychotic, and certainly anything but nice!" I replied, anger building up.
"Y/n!!" Hosuku yelled now running. He could see clearly what was happening, and probably heard the conversation as well.
"My god... What's he doing here?" Kai said letting go of my arm.
"I was uncertain of meeting someone behind the gym alone so I invited Hosuku." I smiled calm again.
Hosuku grabbed Kai's arm with a smile.
"Noticed you touching my girlfriend. Y/n's not hurt is she?" Hosuku spoke as if I was an there, as usual... But I couldn't help but smile.
We took him to a teacher because he was being extremely threatening and I felt unsafe. I don't exactly know what happened to him after as me and Hosuku left him to the teachers.
"Y/n... When I become the number one hero, I'll marry you." Hosuku said out of the blue. I couldn't help the slight pinkness to my face.
"What?" I said surprised.
"Do you n it want me to?" He asked.
"...shut up of course I do..." I said embarrassed.
Hosuku smiled and leaned his head against my shoulder.

Okay, uh, yeah... That's not the best chapter I've ever written...
And it very late. Sorry... I've had a bit of writers block and I couldn't write anything that I even liked a little... I'm really sorry.

Anyway, the next chapter is going to be from my one shots book and it's going to be the last chapter of this. I really hope you enjoyed this short story thing that I wrote on a whim and didn't plan at all.
