( Idk why but I feel like this song suits the situation that happens in this chapter, and it's just a really good song so.. anyways, I don't own the song! Warning! This chapter includes strong language, violence, characters getting drugged, and panic attacks, so read at your own risk. )

Edd's P.O.V  

I opened my eyes slowly, and smiled, remembering the amazing dream I had just had. I turned to look at the time, '6:37' it read. I pulled the covers off of me, grabbed my phone, and made my way out of the bedroom. I stumbled lazily to my bathroom and turned on the light. I quickly undressed myself and stepped in, letting the warm  water wake me up. It felt nice, though I was still a little tired.

 I didn't really feel like cooking, so I decided to call Matt, Tord, and Tom to ask if they wanted to go out for breakfast. I group called them, and they all immediately answered. " What's up Edd? " they all asked together. It was obvious that Tord had been up, Matt woke up five or so minutes ago, and that he had woken Tom up based on how they sounded. " Hey guys, I'm lazy and tired today, want to go out for breakfast? " I asked them. Tom and Matt agreed, but Tord said he had things to do and apologized.
I told him it was okay and quickly hung up and ran to my room to get ready. I threw on the usual; A green hoodie with tan kakis and green converse. I brushed my hair and teeth and ran out my room. The oven clock said, '10:58'. I grabbed my car keys my his room key, and quickly fed Ringo before leaving and heading to Tom's apartment, as I know Matt takes forever getting ready. I knocked twice and Tom called from the other side, " Who is it? " he opened the door and looked down. " Ah, hey Edd. Is Matt ready yet? " he asked, stepping out and locking his door. 

" No, I don't think so. He always takes at least an hour getting ready. " Tom nodded and walked next door to Matt's apartment.   He knocked and said, " Babe, you ready? " Matt yelled back that he was almost ready, but I just barely heard it because I was slightly shocked. " Babe..? " I asked. " Oh, yeah uh, yesterday me and Matt uh, " Tom started blushing. " You tied the knot with him? " I finished his thought. He nodded slowly and I smiled. " Tom, that's great! " I exclaimed, hugging him.   " Uh, thanks Edd.. " he mumbled. Matt eventually opened the door and announced that he was ready, and Tom smiled. " Alright then, let's bounce. "

We all signed out of the building and walked out, finding our car. We all piled into the car in our usual spots, and we headed to our favorite place to eat; Dennys. ( idk if there are any Dennys in the UK, as I have never been there and I live currently in the US, so sorry if I got that wrong ) " Man, it's such a nice day out! " I stated, admiring the beautiful sunny sky and buildings. " Eh, it's okay. " Tom said. We finally arrived, and we walked inside. It was surprisingly empty, with only four other tables full there. A woman in her twenties greeted us inside, smiling warmly. " Howdy there! Welcome to Dennys, I'll be your waiter today! My name is Elizabeth, but you can call me Eliza! You darlings hang tight while I get ya a table!  "

The woman had red hair curling down to her shoulders, and freckles all across her face. She was short and curvy, just slightly taller than me, and she had a thicc western accent. She had deep blue eyes, and looked very sweet.

( Don't get too attached. ) She lead us to a booth in a corner, and I slid in it by the window. Tom sat across from me by the window also, and Matt was sitting by him. Eliza handed us our menus and asked, " So, what do yall' want to drink? " Matt said he wanted milk, Tom coffee, and I just asked for water. " I wonder why the commie didn't want to come, especially after what happened with you two yesterday. " Tom said to me, scrolling through Tumblr. " Well, maybe he had something to do today. It's fine, maybe some other time we can all go out. " I replied. Eliza came back with our drinks and looked out the window.

" Jeeze, it looks like it's going to rain today. It's already starting to get cloudy. Yall' better be safe when leaving. " Tom and I nodded, and Matt just looked worried. We ordered and she walked back to the kitchen. " Guys! " Matt wrapped his arms around Tom's free arm. " The rain is coming back to get revenge! " He buried his face in Tom's arm and Tom blushed slightly. He put his phone away and tried to cheer his lover up, " It's fine, we'll leave before it comes; or we'll just stay here and wait it out. " That alone seemed to calm his nerves, so we changed the topic and started talking about stupid things.

It was about 11:57, and we had to stay longer because it started raining halfway threw our conversation. However, the rain DID stop. " Here's your check folks, come again! " Eliza came by and dropped off our check and left to the front to greet other people. " I'll pay, " I quickly announced before Tom and Matt did. I put my credit card in the check and brought it up to the front where Eliza was. After that, we all walked out and headed towards my car; but we heard something.

3rd Person P.O.V

A voice shot through the area, probably from megaphones. " CITIZENS OF LONDON, " the voice boomed, " THIS IS THE RED ARMY SPEAKING, STAY WHERE YOU ARE, AND NOBODY GETS HURT. IF YOU DO NOT COPERATE, WE WILL SHOOT YOU. IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE BLUE, GREEN, OR PURPLE ARMY, THEN YOU WILL BE TAKEN FOR QUESTIONING; YET AGAIN IF YOU DON'T COPERATE FOR THAT, THEN WE WILL HURT YOU. " As soon as he finished, screams and gunshots rang in their ears, and they immediately ran back in the restaurant to hide.

They swung the doors open and slammed them shut, barricading them with chairs and plants. A bunch of other people were helping, just as terrified as the three. They ran to a nearby table and hid under it. " SHOULD WE CALL THE POLICE? " Edd yelled, as it was way to loud with the guns, yelling, and rumbling of the ground. As if on cue, the loud voice they heard earlier said,                   " ALSO, WE HAVE OVERTHROWN ALL THE POLICE STATIONS IN THE AREA, SO DON'T EVEN TRY TO CALL. "  Matt and Edd were terrified, while Tom was just confused and trying to calm down his friend and boyfriend. " ARE WE GOING TO DIE?! " Matt exclaimed.

 Both him and Edd were clinging to Tom for dear life balling their eyes out. Edd was actually having a panic attack, and he was shaking violently and hyperventilating. His vision started to blur and he felt light -headed. He was derealizating, ( loosing touch with reality; yeah, I'm smart ) and he could hardly hear Tom trying to calm him down and telling him to breathe. Tom knew he had to get something in case anyone came so he could protect them, but he couldn't leave them alone. He reached his hand out and grabbed a knife on the table, and slid it back.       " Guys, " he whispered to them, " Shh, it's okay. We're fine, okay? We won't die. " Matt was calming down ever so slightly, and Edd's breathing was starting to steady.

The ground shook and Tom heard two men yelling outside the building, though he couldn't make out what they were saying. The men came closer to it, and Tom was hit with the realization of what was about to happen. " Guys, we have to go. Now. " Edd and Matt looked at Tom, " Why, w-what's g-g-going o-on? " Edd mumbled. ( #1 stuttering ever such good wow ) " It isn't safe here, we have to hide somewhere else; just trust me on this! It's literal life or death here! " At that moment it was too late to do anything, as the men ran in carrying what looked like dynamite, so he just mentally cursed himself out. He shielded his head in his hands and told his friends to do the same, and they listened to him without question.
" Why today of all days.. " Tom mumbled. Both of the men left, and Tom got a good look at them both.

One of them was short with big eyebrows and an upside down name tag. He looked angry for some reason, as if he didn't want to be there, and lit up his cigarette. His nametag though hard to read, said, 'Pau'. The other man was tall and thin with weird bangs and a serious expression on his face, though it was a softer gaze. His nametag read, 'Pat'. " You really need to stop smoking Pau, it's bad for your health. " Pat said to the other man. Pau shrugged and said, " I know. That's why I'm doing it. " Pat sighed. By then Tom couldn't hear what they said, and he was about to say something; before a loud bang shot through their ears like bullets. The building immediately started to crumble before itself and many people screamed, including Matt and Edd.

All three men were hit by something, and blacked out.

Tom's P.O.V

I woke up by someone shaking me violently, though I couldn't see who. I opened my eyes slightly,  seeing the cloudy grey sky ahead of me. I closed them again, and just remembered what had happened. My eyes shot open and I tried to sit up, only to bump my head. " Ow.. " I mumbled, looking up. I was under the table, and I sighed in relief. ' That must be why I'm alive. '  I thought. I looked over and saw Matt and Edd, looking worried and scared. " TOM! " they exclaimed, embracing me in a tight hug. Tears streamed down their faces. " Holy Jehovah, how long was I out? " I asked.

They just shrugged. We stayed like that for a while until their tears stopped coming down. " You guys good? " they both nodded. " Well, lets go then! " Edd looked determined, and crawled out from the table, gasping at the sight. We crawled out too, and scanned the area. There was no Dennys left, only rubble. " Holy.. " I whispered. " They blew up the place.. " Edd mumbled. We walked forward, looking for any signs of humans in the rubble, but to no avail. We kept looking, and I finally saw something; red hair sticking out of a pile of rubble. " Edd, Matt, over here! " I called for the others, and they ran towards where I was pointing at. " We gotta take the rubble off them, come on! " Edd ran over and tried moving some of it off, but they were to heavy for him.

Matt and I helped take pieces off of the person too, until we saw who it was; Elizabeth. Edd covered his mouth with his hands and Matt gasped, I just looked at it, shocked. " Come on, " I said to them, " We gotta go somewhere safer than this. " they nodded and followed me, and I walked towards our apartment building.

When we got there, I was surprised that it was still standing. We walked to our hallway, and I said to them, " Get your weapons; and Edd get your cat. " they hummed and ran to their rooms. I quickly unlocked my apartment and ran in, looking for my spears. I found a bag of them finally, and I grabbed it and swung it over my shoulder. I rolled up my sleeves and ran back out, slamming my door shut, not bothering to lock it. I ran to Matt's apartment and saw he wasn't there. ' Probably at Edd's.. '  I thought. I ran down the hallway to Edd's apartment and lo and behold, Edd and Matt were in there, looking for something. I asked, " The hell are you doing, you have your weapons already. " Edd looked over at me and said, " We can't find Ringo! I've tried everything: calling his name, shaking a bag of his favorite treats, and looking in the places he usually sleeps; he isn't here! "

I thought for a moment, and asked, " Did you check on top of the fridge? " Matt nodded, " I did, he wasn't there. " he replied. " Damn. Anything else you guys know? " Edd shook his head sadly, but Matt said, " Oh! Also the windows broken. " he pointed to the kitchen. " WHAT!? " Edd yelled. He ran in the kitchen, Matt and I close behind. Like he had said, the window was indeed broken, glass shards scattered across the floor and on the counter. " Holy fuck, you don't think he.. " I started. Right then, I felt a sharp pain in the back of my neck, and apparently Edd and Matt did too, as they both jumped slightly and Edd squeaked.

" Damn bug. " I mumbled. I felt around where the pain was, and pulled something out, holding it up to me so I could see what it was; a needle. " Shit. " was all I could say, before my vision started to blur. I turned around, trying to steady myself as I was loosing my balance. I saw two blurry figures standing in the doorway. My head started ringing, and I lost my balance. I fell back, and everything started getting engulfed in an inky blackness.

I fought to keep my eyes open, but eventually let the sweet embrace of sleep cover me.

Ay, I got this done two days before the deadline I made myself! I feel pretty proud! Anyways, I'm about to wrap this story up in about two or three more chapters, so brace yourselves! I'll get it out by about next Saturday?
