"You should've brought Siegrain," I whispered. "Not me."
Jellal chuckled as he led me downstairs. "Siegrain didn't want to come see the tombs."
"Neither do I," I said.
We entered the chamber, deep below the castle, where all of the great kings and queens of Fiore rested. (Except for the First King and Queen, Mavis and Zeref. They had their own tomb) Each dead king and queen, rested in a smaller stone tomb, in rows of ten. At the very end of the room lay King Faust.
Jellal approached Faust's tomb and looked down at the stone tomb. "Father," he said sadly.
I stood by the entrance awkwardly, not wanting to intrude between this "father-son" moment.
"I've been trying my best to be a good king. I haven't been following all of the traditions, but I hope that's okay with you. I feel like it's is for the best," Jellal continued. "You've trained to be a proper prince and a proper king since the day I was born. I hope I'm doing the right thing.."
"You are," I said.
He looked at me and smiled with relief. "I hope so. It doesn't feel like the right thing. One of my best knights died."
"It was Ultear's decision."
He strode across the room and cupped my face between his hands. "You always manage to make me feel better."
Jellal leaned closer and I murmured. "I don't think kissing in a tomb is appropriate."
The king chuckled and asked, "Who said I was going to kiss you?"
I felt my cheeks burn. "Oh..I..I thought-"
"But I'll give it to you since you want it so badly," he teased, tugging me out of the room by the hand.

"Maybe we didn't catch anything because the animals saw your scarlet hair from a mile away and ran."
"Maybe we didn't catch anything because you're such a bad hunter."
"Maybe we didn't catch anything because your sneezing scared everything away."
"Maybe-"
"Shh," Jellal said, holding up a finger. He stopped his horse and looked over the hill.
"Did you know there was a village here?" I asked, sliding off my horse.
"No," he began to say, but was interrupted by the screaming of a girl.
"Come on!" I yelled, running down the hill and into the village.

We fought through the crowd of villagers until we made it to the center, where a wooden stake stood. A white-haired man with an eye patch was forcing a young, teenage girl to the center.
"What's going on?" I shouted.
"This girl has been accused of being a sorceress," the man said.
"Well let her go!" I insisted, watching as the girl struggled as he bound her against the stake.
"It's none of your business," he replied. "She will be burned at the stake for being a witch!"
"It is my business," Jellal said in a low voice. "I'm the king of Fiore, and your village is on my land."
"Well..I should've recognized you, King Jellal," the man said.
"I order you to stop this execution," he commanded.
"No way!" the leader said. "This girl has cursed our village! It is because of her that our crops aren't doing well!"
"Has she even had a fair trial?" I whispered. The leader narrowed his eyes.
"Release her," Jellal repeated, untying the girl himself.
"Faust would have never showed this witch mercy," the man growled.
Jellal ignored him and picked up the half-unconscious girl, motioning for me to follow him out of the village.

"Thank you," the girl rasped, watching as Jellal lay her down on the leaves that littered the ground of the woods. "Are you..really the king?"
"Yes."
"My name is..Millianna."
"Millianna..when we get you back to Fiore, you will have a fair trial."
"No use," Millianna gasped. "I'm dying..I can feel it..I've been mistreated for weeks.."
She turned her head and faced me. Very quietly, so only I could hear she whispered, "Zarina.."
Millianna casually rested her arm on my knee, where I noticed the Druid mark on the bottom of her wrist.
"Thank you, sire," Millianna continued. "For your kindness and compassion. You are a much better man than your Father. I've never been given this kindness before.."
"I wish you well in your next life," the king said.
"Take..this.." she croaked. She patted her pocket. I gently pulled open her pocket and pulled out a small golden, muscial horn. "The Horn of Cathbhadh. Use it well."

"I always thought it was a myth," Porlyusica said, examining the horn Jellal had given. "This is a magical horn, to help summon spirits from the afterlife. When Faust attacked the Isle of the Blest, the horn was given to the Druids to protect. Millianna must've been a Druid."
"What should we do with it?" I asked eagerly.
"Keep it in the dungeons. It needs to be kept safe. I don't want anyone to use it."
"I'll put it there soon," Jellal said leaving.
As soon as he was out of earshot I asked, "Can I summon Ultear with it?"
"Erza," Porlyusica said gently. "It is very dangerous. Once I person dies and enters the spirit world..they change. They yearn to be free again. I advise you not to use."
I sighed. "Okay."

Jellal traced the designs on the horn. It felt smooth beneath his fingers. A loud knock on his door startled him, making him bump into the bowl of apples that sat in the middle of the table.
I entered the room and stared at the scattered apples.
"So..care to explain-"
Jellal pushed something under the bowl and looked up at me innocently.
I bent down to pick up a couple apples and was about to flip the bowl over when he put his on top of me.
"D-Don't."
"Is something under there?" I asked.
"N-No. I can..fix everything myself. Go ready the horses. We have to go soon."
"Go where?" I asked skeptically, putting the apples down.
"Stop asking questions," he said, picking up a spoon and waving it in my face.
"Fine," I said. "And stop threatening me with a spoon."
Jellal tapped my head with the spoon just to prove he could.

"The Great Stones of Nementon?" I asked. "Jellal..you're going to use the horn?!"
"Yes."
"You can't!" I insisted, but curiosity got the best of me. "What spirit are you going to summon?"
"My Father."
