"Who are you?" I asked, as I stared up at the beautiful lady. Instead of directly answering my question straight away, she looked at me intensely. Love and warmth shining from her eyes as her lips turned up in truly happy smile. "I am your mother, little one."
I stared up at her with huge doe like eyes, as I asked her in wonder," You're my mummy?" She nodded gently as she smiled," Yes I am."
I think I szurprised her a little bit when I ran over to her on my chubby little legs and grabbed her in a hug as I yelled mummy. But me being only 4 years old I only came up to the top of her knee, as I wrapped my little arms around her leg. Looking up at her smiling she then picked me up and sat me on her hip with one arm and the other stroking my face lovingly. Playing with the little amount of dark black hair that I had as I hugged her tightly.
"If you're my mummy, den who are dey," pointing in the direction of where everyone else was.
"Those aren't your parents sweetie those are just people who think that, I had to make them think that you were their child because you aren't safe with me. I'm sorry that you're only just meeting me now and that I wasn't able to be with you these past few years." She told me, tears leaking from her eyes as she continued speaking.
"How did ou make dem tink dere're my mummy and daddy?" I asked curiously.
"Magic, would you like to see some?" I shook my head hard as I giggled as I always wanted magic powers. "Ok then, you ready? On three, 1,2,3!" Moving her hand slightly she made a pretty, dark purple orchid appear in her hand. Gasping in surprise,"it's so pretty!"
"Mhm and guess what it will never die and if I am ever nearby it will start to glow, like it is now."
"Is it for me?" I asked her as I stared at it, dark purple and strings of white throughout the petals, a glowing light pulsing around it gently, almost like a heartbeat.
"Of course it's for you silly, a pretty flower for an even more beautiful girl!" She told me as she tapped me on the nose with her finger. Making me go cross eyed and start giggling which made her smile.
Her face suddenly turned serious as she put me down on my bed and then sat next me, my feet swinging over the edge of the bed as my legs were too short to touch the floor while sitting on it.
"Sweetie I need to tell you something ok?" After seeing me nod she went on.
"You're a very special girl ok, see I'm not just a human, I'm what Greek myths call a primordial so I am even more powerful than the normal gods. My name is Gaea, I'm the goddess of the earth.
