"Alright, it's festival time!" Natsuki shouts. She sets her tray of cupcakes down on the nearest desk.
I yawn and rub my eyes. Natsuki...
Natsuki puts her hands on her hips. "Wow, you two got here before me?" She starts walking towards Jasper. "I thought I was pretty ea-- EYAH!" She screams when she catches sight of Yuri, whose glassy stare has turned really creepy over the weekend.
Too bad we couldn't move her...And I didn't know who to ask for help.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" Natsuki goes pale, then starts gagging. She puts a hand over her mouth, then she vomits. The spew escapes the confines of her hand and drips down her uniform, and she runs away.
Normally I'd be disgusted, but I've just spent two days next to a corpse...
"I'm here!"
Monika.
"Jasper, did something happen? Natsuki just ran past me..." She moves in a similar direction, and catches an eyeful of Yuri. "...Oh...oh. Ahahaha!" She laughs sheepishly. "Well, that's a shame. Wait, were you here the entire weekend, Jasper? Oh, jeez...I didn't realize the script was broken that badly. I'm super sorry! It must have been pretty boring...I'll make it up to you, okay? Just gimme a sec..."
A translucent black box appears floating above Monika's head. I watch as text appears written in it.

True to the box's words, Yuri's corpse has vanished, the only sign of her being there the bloodstains on the floor and the plain kitchen knife.

Monika becomes more and more panicked, before she turns to Jasper. "You can get rid of her, right? She's ruining my happy ending! Get rid of her!" She frantically adds another command to the box, and again it fails. "Jasper...please! You have to trust me! Haaah...haah...Why won't you die?! Jasper! Kill her!"
Monika runs up to Jasper and starts shaking him. "Kill her!!"

She's distracted!
I pick up Yuri's bloodstained blade and charge into Monika, ramming her against the wall.
"How do you do it?" I scream into her face. "How do you do it?!" I press the knife against her neck.
"You wouldn't kill me." Monika laughs. "You're too weak!"
"Wanna bet?" I say, and plunge the knife into the wall, two inches away from her head. "Tell me, before I kill you."
Her face turns from confident to terrified. "I...I...Jasper! Delete her!"
"I said, tell me!" I shout. I stab the wall again, closer. "Can you hear it, Monika? Can you hear Yuri's blood screaming for revenge? Can you hear Sayori's spirit calling for your blood? It's only a matter of time before I give it to them! I suggest you talk!"
"I...You can't do it...You aren't the real President...Only I can..."
"Well, it's just a little matter of killing you then, isn't it? Just one slice across the neck, you'll be dead in sixty seconds."
"Aah...! Jasper, help!" she squeals.
I don't take my eyes off Monika. "No, don't help her. Look at what she's done! She's killed everyone she can! She's destroyed this game for her own personal will! Delete her, instead! I'll fix everything! I'll make this game how it was supposed to be...I swear on my life!"
"No! She'll ruin all my effort...I did so much for you! I did so much..."
"Grrr...!" The end of the blade pierces Monika's skin. A small trickle of blood runs down her neck. "You're in no place to negotiate, are you? If I die, I take you with me!"

Monika suddenly gasps, as if she'd been kicked in the stomach. The light around her flickers dark and bright. She looks around, a panicked expression on her face. "What's happening...?" She turns to Jasper, who is completely frozen in place. "Jasper, what's happening to me? It hurts--"
Monika suddenly vanishes, and I fall against the wall. "Oof--" She appears again, in a different spot, but she looks like she's in the middle of being blown up. Is she glitching out?
"It hurts...so much..." Even her voice sounds like it's being torn apart. "Help me, Jasper. Please hurry and help me."
The black box starts displaying words again.

Sobbing sounds start coming from Monika's broken body. "...How could you? How could you do this to me? You were all I had left..."
I can almost see her lip quivering.
"I sacrificed everything I could for us to be together...Everything. I loved you so much, Jasper... I trusted you."
She's speaking like she's already gone...I guess she is.
"Do you just want to torture me? Watch me suffer? Were you only pretending to be kind, just to hurt me even more?"
Silence.
"I never thought anyone could be as horrible as you are. You win, okay? You win. You killed everyone. I hope you're happy. There's nothing left now. You can stop playing. Go find some other people to torture."
Monika shuts up again. Her image is hardly visible now.
"Jasper...You completely, truly, make me sick." Sob. "Goodbye."

The room goes completely black, except for Jasper. I stare at him in horror. "You...You trusted me? But why...? I rejected you..."
Jasper says nothing. Wow, the game is well and truly broken now.
"I still love you." Monika's voice says. "I can't help it. What's wrong with me...? How horrible am I for you to hate me this much? All my friends...I did so many awful things. So many selfish and disgusting things. I...I shouldn't have done any of this. I'm just messing up a world that I don't even belong in. A world that you wanted to be a part of...I ruined it. I ruined everything."
Silence again.
"Maybe that's why you deleted me...Because I destroyed everything that you wanted. How could I do that to someone I love...? That's not love...That's..."
Monika pauses, as if she's thinking. "I've...made up my mind. Jasper...I know I said that I deleted everyone else. But...that was kind of an exaggeration. I couldn't find it in myself to do it. Even though I knew they weren't real...They were still my friends. And I loved them all, and I loved the Literature Club...I really...did love the Literature Club. That's why I'm going to do this. I know it's the only way for everyone to be happy. And if I really love you..."
Sigh.
"Then..."
The light starts returning to the room. Yuri's knife vanishes from my hand, and I can see the days rewind, dusk turns to day turns to dawn turns to night, over and over and over...
