xxii. baby, you're jealous

Finally, Gemini collapsed on the bed, her body was sore as Charlie wrapped his arm around her waist.

"Are you on the pill?" Charlie asked.

"What pill? Birth control. Oh no, I've never had to be on the pill." Gemini answered as she brought her hand down over her stomach.

"What if you get pregnant?" Charlie asked.

Gemini looked at him.

"Is that a problem?" Gemini replied.

Charlie shook his head as Gemini's nude body pressed closely to his.

He ran his fingers through my hair, calming me down. "It's okay." He said.

She laid her head on his chest, his hand was resting on her ass.

"Do you not want me to have a baby?" She asked.

Charlie's hand moved to Gemini's chin, lifting it up.

He looked her in the eyes and kissed her lips, and explained himself.

"Not now, maybe in the future." He answered.

Gemini nodded.

Rang opened the door and handed his phone to Gemini.

"Yeon is on the phone." Rang said.

"Can't you knock?" Charlie asked as he brought the covers over his chest.

Rang scoffed.

"Can't you not knock up on my sister?" Rang replied.

Gemini rolled her eyes and put the phone to her ear.

"Gemini." Yeon said.

"Hello, Yeon." Gemini said.

"How are you? I can't believe you're letting Rang live with you. Has he caused any trouble?" Yeon asked.

Gemini chuckled.

"I'm good and do you really have to ask, of course, he has and he followed me like a lost puppy. I could not make him leave." Gemini answered.

Rang pinched Gemini's arm.

"I did not follow you like a puppy." Rang said.

Gemini rubbed her arm and stuck her tongue out at Rang.

"Ouch, yes, you did." Gemini said.

Yeon chuckled.

"Are you two ever going to grow up?" Yeon asked.

"And are you ever going to act like a real brother?" Gemini replied.

"Hit him where it hurts." Rang said.

Yeon sighed.

"I'll come visit but I can't stay for long." Yeon said.

Rang shook his head.

"No, don't come. No one likes you. No one wants you here!" Rang exclaimed.

Gemini snapped her fingers and stitched Rang's mouth shut.

Charlie gasped.

"You could do that the whole time and you never did it when he was interrogating me." Charlie said.

Gemini smiled.

"No, it was fun seeing someone make you crack under pressure," Gemini said to Charlie, before returning her attention to the phone. "And, Yeon, I can't wait to see you. I know Rang has missed you just as much as I have." Gemini added.

"Yeah, okay, bye." Yeon said, ending the call.

"He's so rude." Gemini said as she handed the phone back to Rang.

xxii. baby, you're jealous

"Who are cooking all this food for?" Leah asked as Rang and Gemini cook for Yeon's visit.

Actually, Rang was cooking himself but no one needed to know that. Rang knew once Yeon shows up that no one will pay attention to him so he's packing his runaway emergency bag which includes several steaks that Gemini was cooking.

"Our brother, Yeon is coming to visit and he has a big appetite, so we're cooking all of his favorite meals." Rang answered.

Rang sneaked Leah some cookies that Gemini had made earlier and winked at her. Leah smiled and quickly Atë the cookies before Gemini could notice.

"Yes, he will eat anything and everything. And I saw that. Rang stop feeding Leah and unpack that runaway bag of yours." Gemini said.

Rang pouted.

"How did you know?" Rang asked as he placed the dirty spoon in the sink.

"I have eyes in the back of my head and you always pack an emergency bag whenever Yeon comes around you. It's like you prepared to runaway if he even pays too much attention to you." Gemini explained.

"You would too if the man always comes at your neck over any little thing. He always wants to train me and turn me to the right side. What is the right side? Being a guardian, isn't the right side. It's boring." Rang said.

Gemini chuckled.

"No lies told. I can't stand being a guardian." Gemini said.

Leah was curious. She walked over and stood next to Rang.

"What's a guardian?" Leah asked.

"It's like what you do here. Protect a certain area from all types of things and make sure supernatural creatures do not cause trouble or clean up after them." Rang answered.

"I get it. What's so bad about that?" Leah asked.

Gemini groaned.

"Everything. It's like the more things go wrong the more trouble you get in and the whole not interfering with fate thing. It's annoying." Gemini explained.

"You can't interfere with fate." Leah said.

"Yeah, the goddess of fate is a real bitch when people get in her way." Rang said.

Leah nodded.

"So gods and goddesses are real." Leah said.

"Yeah, you've met one." Gemini said.

Leah was shocked.

"Who?" Leah asked.

"Aaliyah is the reborn goddess of love." Rang replied.

"Oh wow, I thought she was like you guys." Leah said.

"Well, now you know." Rang said.

xxii. baby, you're jealous

"Yeon!" Gemini exclaimed as she walked up to him and hugged him.

Yeon grunted but hugged her back.

"Let go of me." Yeon said as Gemini squeezed him into a tighter hug.

Rang chuckled and patted Yeon's shoulder.

"She won't let go until you say you missed her." Rang said.

Yeon rolled his eyes.

"I'll bite you." Yeon said.

Gemini quickly let go of Yeon and stepped away from him.

"What's that smell?" Yeon asked as he put a finger under his nose.

"That would be the vampires that are Gemini's in laws." Rang answered with a smirk.

Yeon stared at Gemini in shock.

"You're with a vampire?!" Yeon shouted.

Gemini shook her head and glared at Rang.

"No, I'm with a human named Charlie. His daughter married a vampire." Gemini explained.

"Maybe, I shouldn't have came. I can't stand the stench, it makes me want to kill." Yeon said.

Rang laughed.

"When don't you want to kill?" Rang asked.

Yeon glared at Rang.

"Maybe I should kill you." Yeon replied.

Rang moved behind Gemini.

"I would like to see you try." Rang said, knowing Gemini would whack Yeon before he could even touch him.

Yeon smirked.

"I see you're still hiding behind Gemini like always." Yeon said.

Gemini crossed her arms over her chest.

"You used to do the same, Yeon." Gemini said.

"No, I did not!" Yeon exclaimed.

Leah opened the door and walked out the house and cleared her throat.

"It's lovely that you three are having a nice reunion outside but there are people in the house, waiting." Leah said as Yeon looked at her.

Leah gasped. Her mouth opened slightly and her eyes widened in what seemed like shock and surprise.

Yeon felt a warm sensation that traveled through his body and he could see a glow surrounding Leah. He knew what that meant.

"Leah imprinted." Edward told everyone in the living room, causing everyone to move outside.

"No." Yeon said, realizing what happened between him and Leah.

"Yeon, please think before you do something stupid." Gemini said.

Rang sighed, knowing why Yeon was reacting like this.

Yeon started walking away from Gemini, he was trying to get as far as possible away from Leah.

The pack and the Cullens were consumed with silence as Yeon disappeared into the tree line. As soon as he was no longer visible, everyone's eyes turn to Leah.

Leah's hands start to shake so she clench them tightly into fists down by her sides.

"Go after him, Rang." Gemini muttered as she rushed over to Leah, who close to being in tears.

"It's not you, it's him. Something happened in his past that made him react like that. Rang will handle him." Gemini said, softly to Leah, trying to comfort her.

"Is what happened that bad to make him run away from me?" Leah asked.

Gemini nodded.

"I won't tell you the full version but I can give you a summary." Gemini answered.

"Okay." Leah said.

Gemini sighed.

"When Yeon was a mountain god, he fell in love with a human girl. The girl was a Princess and her father did not approve of their relationship so he had summoned an evil spirit to kill Yeon but instead the evil spirit forced Yeon to kill the Princess because it had taken over her body and ever since then Yeon believes that any woman who is with him will die." Gemini said.

"I guess that understandable." Leah said.

"She wasn't even that understanding with Sam and Emily. The imprint has already changed her." Paul said.

Seth hit Paul on the back of the head.

"Shut up." Seth said.

"Is bad that I'm jealous of a dead girl?" Leah asked.

Gemini chuckled.

"There's no need to be, Leah, once Yeon gets his head straight. You'll be the most spoiled woman around here aside from me, of course." Gemini answered.
