Maria and Lucas are eating breakfast with their mom and dad and are now watching TV while their parents do the dishes.

Kevin said," So Maria and Lucas, Yall are getting to spend the whole day with Aunt Alaina, whoever only in town for 2 days.

Maria sadly said," Okay. Bye, Daddy and Mommy.

Both were sad to leave their parents for a while even though it was only for 2 days.

Helen said," Please behave for your aunt Alaina. You're only going to be with her for 2 days at her house. She lives here in Chicago.

Maria said," Yes, Mommy and Daddy.

Lucas said," Yes, Mommy and Daddy.

Alaina knocked gently on the front door, and Helen opened it, and the twins went with their aunt to get breakfast at a diner.

Helen said," I can't believe how fast they are growing up. I wish they could stay little forever. Seems like just yesterday they were born and now boom, they are 1 year old.

Kevin said," I agree with you, babe. They're growing up so fast. I want them to stay little.

Helen and Kevin head to the grocery store to get groceries for the house and stuff to potty train the twins and get them big kid beds.

Helen picked up a blue bed set for Lucas along with some blue pillows for the bed.

Kevin picked up a pink bed set for Maria along with some pink pillows for the bed.

They even picked up pull ups for the twins.

They paid for their groceries and spent the whole day getting the twins Bedrooms ready. They wanted their rooms to be a surprise for them when they got back from their aunt Alaina's house 2 days from now.

It was going to take 2 days to decorate their rooms because they had to get paint and brushes, and then they had to paint the room and let the paint dry for 24 hours.

they had already bought the paint but it was now 6 pm and they are tired from their day of shopping for things for the twins room.

Kevin made them some dinner, and they ate together and fed each other some dessert.

Kevin put away the leftovers, did the dishes, and started the dishwasher for the night.

He then heads upstairs to their bedroom.

Helen got a shower, dressed in PJ’S, brushed her teeth, and headed to bed for the night.
