Everyone comes back from their job and then notices the smell. 

" Hey, something smells good." Herrmann said as he came inside the common room to find Grace and Richard in the kitchen cooking up dinner.

"Hey welcome back. Hope you guys are hungry." Richard said as he worked on the soup. 

" Starving, what's for dinner?" Casey said as he came over to the counter.

" Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup. For dessert Apple Pie. It's my gram's recipe and there is also vanilla ice cream in the freezer. If you want it a la mode." Grace tells everyone as she serves the food. 

" Awe guys this is so sweet thank you." Brett said as she took a plate and sat down to eat. 

" It's no problem, now let's eat before it gets cold." Grace said as she made a plate for herself as everyone loves every bite of it. 

" Cheif once this girl becomes a candidate, pull any string you got this girl is the chef there is." Herrmann said truthfully. 

" Hey, what about me?" Mills said. 

" Sorry kid, can't deny a woman's touch when it comes to cooking." Herrmann said as he enjoyed the meal. 

Grace felt bashful but kept her cool. 

" Hey Richard, stop by at Molly's after shift. Best tap there is." 

" You don't by any chance are hiring any waitstaff do you?" Grace asked Herrmann 

" Oh no." Herrmann shook his head. 

" What?" Grace was confused now. 

" I'm not letting a doll like you be serving drinks, some of these guys can be tough." 

" Well, it's a good thing my grandpa taught me everything he knows on how to defend myself. If I want to join the department I need to be able to protect myself." Grace crosses her arms since she doesn't like being treated like a china doll. 

" She's got a point. Herrmann, I can train her personally." Gabby offered to help. 

" And it would be great to have a job." Grace said as she needed one. 

" I don't get it. You could be working at any job for your family's company and you want to work as a waitress?" Brett asked since she was a little curious. 

" Because I want to start over. I mean when Grandpa was working, he had nothing and now owns one of the biggest companies in the world because of the fact he worked in the company from the ground up. For me, I also just can't stand being in one place for the rest of my life and I want to help people. I may be overqualified in some areas but it's best to work your way to the top. I mean it's the same with all of you right?" Grace explained as she made a fair point. 

" Eagle eye on her at all times." Herrmann said to Gabby as he knew what he goes through every day. 

" Will do." Gabby said as she was glad Grace had been given a chance.

While Grace talks with the crew Wallace and Richard watch everyone interact with each other at the corner table. Richard is happy Grace has already gotten a family already and feels right at home. He hasn't seen Grace smile this much since she was little and hopes she keeps smiling just like that for the rest of her life. 

" You sure you're okay with this Richard?" 

" She's going to be alone in this world soon and will need a family to support her in any way they can. That's why I brought her here. I knew you and your crew were the only ones I trusted to keep her safe." 

" How long?" 

" A few months give or take." 

" I promise you, we'll take good care of her as our own." Wallace said as he never breaks a promise. 

" Thank you, Wallace."
