Lock It Down
The following day, the Club went on lock down only this time it wasn't just [Name] being locked down inside as well. The whole Clubhouse was full of people, some [Name] hadn't even seen, known, or met yet.
It was family, friends, other members -- mostly Nomads, who were all here. [Name] walked around in a Sam Crow shirt that was big enough across her body to make her curves non-existent.
Her pants were the normal dark jeans that she wore about most of the time, but thanks to the shirt it didn't show off anything.
The last thing she wanted today was to be hit on by one of the Nomads and either Tig, Chibs, or even Jax for that matter going off the deep end and trouble starting when there was already trouble.
Tig's whistle suddenly drew her attention as he informed everyone to listen up as Clay made his way to the stage with the stripper pole in the front corner of the room.
[Name] walked through the crowd of people and over to where Chibs was standing and leaned her back up against the wall that separated the door to the entrance and the rest of the room.
"I'd like to welcome you all to the Club Reaper. I'm glad you made your reservations early cause, as you can see we are booked to capacity." Clay said as he looked around and everyone chuckled.
"You're here because you're family. And because SAMCRO takes care of its own. Next couple of days, this club's got some business to handle that could put our members and the people connected to us in... unfriendly situations. Now, chances are, nothing's gonna happen, but... people have already been hurt on my watch."
Clay said looking at both Gemma and [Name]. [Name] stood next to Chibs, who shuffled about putting his arm around the girl's shoulder. Gemma next to Jax as the boy wrapped his arm around his mom as she stood between Jax and Clay.
It was only [Name] that made eye contact with Clay, Gemma being unable to do so.
[Name] had found out about the whole "car accident" the same night that Clay, Jax, and Tara all found out. She hadn't known what to expect when she had been asked to join them in sitting down. And once Gemma had explained it all -- [Name] wanted nothing more than to kill the bastards that hurt her family.
"And that ain't gonna happen again."
Clay said, looking away from [Name] and back out to the group of people that surrounded him on the stage.
"Nobody gets in. Nobody leaves without an escort. You got a safety concern, you talk to Piney."
At the call of his name Piney held up his shot gun so everyone knew who he was.
"You got a comfort concern, you talk to my queen."
Gemma nodded slowly and looked at everyone.
"And finally, if you just need someone's balls busted around here, you talk to my princess."
Clay said, looking over at [Name], who raised her hand up in the air.
"And I'll bust 'em too!"
She spoke out, causing the room to chuckle as she lowered her hand. Chibs pulled her in closer to him and shook her a little for good measures. Tig had been standing behind [Name], between the wall that separated the room and the hallway into the main room.
He had been watching Chibs closely as he held the girl. It took him a minute and then he slowly put two and to together -- he only hoped that what he was thinking was wrong.
"Under this roof you'll all be safe. Want you to make yourself at home." Clay said nodding as he looked around the room. "I love all of ya."
He said finally stepping down from the stage as Tig called out and had everyone clapping. Clay stopped at Gemma and gave her a kiss and a hug. He then moved over to Jax and hugged him, Jax patting him on the back. And then he turned and seen [Name] standing there as she pushed herself up off the wall and away from Chibs.
Clay held out his arms and she came into them and hugged him tightly. She knew the risks that the club was about to take today. She knew that someone might not come back alive. And those thoughts scared her more than anything else in the world.
To lose someone you've grown so close to and then in the blink of an eye they're gone just like that -- it was a terrifying way of thinking.
And one that she hopped she never had to wake up to and face in her lifetime.
The day dragged on slowly and the boys came and went. [Name] wandered around the Club house most of the day doing odds and ends for Gemma and playing with a few of the kids that were there.
But her days was mainly just making sure everyone was doing okay.
When she went outside to get away from so many people it was then a man came walking up to her right as she sat down on the picnic table. She looked over at him. He was a tall blonde haired man who wore a Nomad kutt.
"So, you're a SAMCRO princess? Never heard of one of them."
[Name] raised a brow as she nodded, wondering what the hell this guy wanted as he smiled down at her.
"And you are?"
"Kozik." He stated. "And you?"
She looked away from the man that continued to stare at her. Her gaze falling out into the parking lot.
"[Name] Morrow."
She heard him shuffling about before she felt the top of the picnic table sink in where he took his seat next to her. She refused to look at him as he sat there. Out of the corner of her eye she could see his hands clasped together as he was looking at her from the side.
He sniffed and clapped his hands together before rubbing them.
"So, you're Clay's daughter then?"
He was trying hard to make conversation with her, she knew that right off the bat when he refused to take the hint that she didn't want to talk to him. She shook her head.
"No, I'm his niece."
She corrected rather bluntly. Kozik nodded his head again as there was a short silence between the two of them till he started back up again.
"So, how are you a SAMCRO princess if you're his niece? I might be wrong, but I thought only princess and princes could be if the leader was their father?"
[Name] rolled her eyes. This guy was killing her right now with how hard he was pushing her to talk.
"You're a Nomad right? Ever been to the Club that was in Modesto?"
Kozik nodded slowly.
"Yeah, but they were disbanded when the whole club went to prison."
He spoke up, recalling what had happened with the club when they came into guns and what not.
"Right, well, that was my father's Club, Clay's younger brother."
Kozik leaned back for a moment as if shocked. He shook his head.
"No fucking way." He said raising a finger and point at her. "There's no fucking way you're the same woman that all these horror stories are floating around from club to club."
[Name] raised a brow. What the fuck was this smiling idiot talking about now?
"What the hell are you talking about? What horror stories?"
"Oh, you don't know?"
Kozik asked, chuckling as he shook his head and held up his hands.
"Something about you cutting the balls off of some dude and then chopping him up into little tiny pieces after he bleed out and mailed his balls back to his gang."
[Name] blinked as she looked at him as if he was stupid as hell.
"I mean, I cut his balls off yeah, but who the hell told you the rest of that crap?"
Kozik smiled as he stood up from the top of the table and put his hands in his pockets.
"Happy told me. Said he was there when it all went down. Was working for your dad and suddenly you were there -- balls deep in that dude with a knife as you sliced clean through them."
[Name] rolled her eyes. She would have to remember to punch the shit out of Happy the next time she seen him. That bastard, going around and telling stories about her like that -- only God knows what else the man had said about her.
"You know, you shouldn't believe everything you hear. It makes you sound stupid when you repeat it wrongly."
She informed him as she climbed up off the table and was preparing to go back inside when a man walked around the corner. She gasped and nearly screamed when she seen him, but quickly realized that it was the man she had seen at the Caracara prior to it burning to the ground.
"Chucky? What the hell happened to your hands!?"
She shouted, grabbing the man by the wrist and looking at his hands that had burnt tissue on them.
"Yeah, where the fuck are your fingers man!?"
Kozik called out. [Name] shook her head and snapped back at Kozik.
"Not that you idiot! He's been without his fingers for a while now, just shut up!" She turned back to Chucky and looked into his eyes when it dawned on her. "Were you inside the Caracara when it burnt down?"
Chucky just gave a small shrug and caused [Name]'s eyes to widen even more -- if that was at all possible.
"Shit. Come on Chucky, Tara's inside she'll fix you up."
She said wrapping one arm around his shoulder as she walked him toward the door.
"I accept that."
He said as she opened the door and rushed him inside.
