Enough Is Enough

Gemma was doing a potluck tonight at her place. It was going to be nice to finally be able to sit down with family and for once be at piece.

[Name] hummed as she finished up sorting through the bottles of liquor that had come in this morning as an order. She filled the bar shelves, happy to be off today so she had time to unwind after everything that's been happening.

Once she was done, she headed outside and noticed Clay and Tig in a converstaion. Speaking just loud enough for her to hear.

They were arguing about something -- Tig's patch that he wore. Clay said something about him not knowing if Tig could do his job or not and Tig wasn't all too thrilled to hear it.

"You think I can't make the hard call?" Tig asked raising his hand in between the two of them. "With all the shit I've done for you and this Club?"

Clay shook his finger toward Tig.

"It's not about the shit you've done. It's about the shit you may have to do."

Tig leaned in closer to Clay, obviously pissed with his reply.

"I can do job."

He growled. About that time Clay's phone started ringing and he nodded his head and backed away slightly from Tig to answer it.

"Good to know."

Clay said as he stepped away and placed the phone to his ear.

"Yeah?"

Clay said answering the phone. He spoke with someone on the other end.

"Follow the guns."

He said prior to closing the phone and turning back around to Tig.

"Call everybody."

Clay ordered before walking away. Tig stood there looking at Clay as he left. It was then [Name] decided to approach him.

"Hey, you okay?"

She asked, causing him to turn around and look at her. She was so quiet he hadn't even heard her walking up.

He looked at her with a frown. It was just yesterday that he was comforting her with her shitty day and now and she doing the same to him.

"Yeah, doll. Everything's good."

He told her before walking away and following after Clay. She stood there for a moment and watched as they both stormed off away from her.

She sighed, crossing her arms over her chest. She knew that tensions were high, but she didn't know how bad it was till just now.

She had never seen Tig and Clay speak to one another like that. Something was seriously wrong.

Later that night Gemma was bustling around the kitchen with some Crow-eaters while preparing dinner.

[Name] had been put in charge of setting up the table, since everything she had ever cooked came out in charcoal and was not eatable.

She never really had anyone around to show her how to properly cook, so she was completely out of her element in the kitchen. She didn't mind though, she much rather enjoyed it in a garage than a kitchen.

As she finished setting up the table she went to the bathroom. She finished up and checked herself once over in the mirror.

Her [h/c] hair was extremely short, not even reaching her shoulders. Her bright blue eyes reminded her of her uncle's more than it did her mother's. Then there was what she had dressed in tonight.

Simple black jeans and a men's oversized shirt to hide her pudgy sides. She admitted that she had put on a little weight since getting out of the hospital. She had a horrible stress eating hobbit -- but that wasn't something that was uncommon in women, especially her age.

She sighed, she wore no makeup, she didn't ever see the point and regardless without it she still looked adorable. Her cheeks were rounded than most women, but that just added to how cute she could look sometimes.

She knew that when she finally hit her forties, thanks to her almost baby face she'd still look great.

She found herself smiling at the thought of twenty years from now. Wondering where she'd be in life. But for now she had to come crashing back down in the present.

She left the bathroom and came back into the kitchen just in time to pass by Lyla, the woman who she had met with the car trouble storming out of the house and slamming the front door.

She was baffled by what the woman was doing here, so she went into the kitchen to find out only to find Opei's kids there -- minus Opei.

"Did I just see Lyla?"

[Name] asked, holding a thumb up behind her while looking between Opei's kids and Gemma and Tara.

Tara just scoffed as she was holding some type of papers in her hands and Gemma placed her hands on her hips.

Before anyone could answer Jax and Bobby walked in behind her.

"Hey, Doc."

Jax said giving his cousin a kiss on the cheek and patting her back.

"Hey. What's going on with Lyla?"

Jax inhaled deeply before letting it out in a loud breath between his lips. He looked over at Tara and gave her a look before turning back to [Name].

"Territorial shit."

Jax whispered to her before walking over to Tara and speaking to her about Lyla. [Name] shook her head and crossed her arms over her chest.

Thank God she didn't have to deal with that type of shit.

"Just you wait, Doc." Bobby said, picking up on her vibes. "When you find yourself in Old Lady shoes, you'll have the same type of fun."

She looked at Bobby and seen he was smiling. She rolled her eyes as she looked down at the shorter man.

"No, I don't think so. I'm not insecure and jealous when it comes to porn stars. They're people just like the rest of us. Just like me. I work on a car's body -- " She tilted her head slight to the side "They work on human bodies."

Bobby couldn't help but chuckle, finding her humor well needed right now.

Bobby left her side and went into the kitchen to get something to drink. About that time he walked in and was standing in the corner with Lyla as they watched Jax talk with Tara.

[Name] turned around to look at the displeased woman. She looked rather saddened and pissed off at the same time.

"Well, I'm glad you're here. It's nice to see Opei opening up. Just wait till you see how big of a teddy bear this fella can be."

She told Lyla causing the woman to actually smile for the first time tonight. Oh be rolled his eyes and gave a playful nudge on [Name]'s shoulder.

"I can already tell."

She whispered lightly, causing Opei to look down at her as he snorted and shook his head.

Gemma walked past Jax with a plate full of food.

"What the hell happened?"

Jax asked as his mother passed him by. She ignored him and placed the food down on the table.

"Come on everybody sit down. Come on, let's sit down."

[Name] sighed as she waited for everyone to take a seat at the table.
Bobby had just returned from the kitchen with a drink in his hand as he was getting ready to take his seat.

About that time Clay walked inside followed by Tig, Happy, and Half-Sac.

"Where the hell were you?"

Clay's voice was stern when he walked up to Jax. Jax turned and looked at Clay.

"What are you talking about?"

He asked, his voice showing that he was clearly not in the mood for this right now.

"I got two guys laid up in the hospital and of course you decide not to pick up your God damn phone. We were neck deep in shit."

Clay's voice rose slightly. [Name] have walked over with Opie when clay had arrived putting her standing in between Bobby and Tig when Bobby held out his hands trying to defend their actions for today.

"We were in our own pile of shit."

"Oh yeah?"

Tig asked, turning to Bobby seemed extremely unhappy right now.

"Well, we almost got killed trying to take back our guns, man."

Bobby seemed baffled as he moved past [Name] who had taken a step back when Bobby bit his lower lip and came up closer to Tig.

"Club business. Not here asshole."

Bobby grolwed looking over at [Name] who was standing right there. Tig snapped and shoved Bobby back causing him to totter back on his heels before he regained his balance and grabbed Tig's cut.

"Hey! Hey! Hey!"

[Name] said as she tried to get between the two guys. Opei had grabbed Bobby by the back of his cut while Half-Sac grabbed Tig's.

She put her arms up and out between the two of them, but they weren't backing off and instead squishing her body between the both of them and caused her to be dragged around abit, until Happy came in the middle and helped her out by shoving the two men apart

"They were helping me, Clay!"

Opei said speaking up as he held [Name] steady after she has just been flung around like a rage doll.

Gemma had watched shocked as it had happened. The two men had complete disregard for [Name] who had stepped between the both of them -- and Clay hadn't said a word when it happened.

"We went back to deliver payback to Caracara."

Jax spoke up, angry toward Clay.

"Well, hopefully it went a little better than the Trammel task."

Tig said looking at Jax before turning back and looking at Opei, who still hand his hands on [Name]'s shoulders as she stood there and looked between everyone.

The room was beyond tense right now. Anybody with a brain could see that right now.

"Aw, blow me, Shit head."

Opei scoffed toward Tig, causing Tig to stand on his tiptoes to look Opei in the eyes. His hands were on his hips as he did so, his chest ever so slightly touching [Name]'s in the process.

She felt trapped like a rat in the middle of the mess that had formed in the middle of the dining room. And then a new presences made itself known.

"Excuse me."

Everyone turned to look and seen Hale walking inside the house from the kitchen door that was wide open.

"Sorry to interrupt. I figured I should tell you this in person."

Hale said as his eyes scanned to each individual in the room. His eyes landed on [Name] for a moment longer than the rest, before he looked back at Clay.

Everyone was turned toward Hale, waiting to hear whatever it was he had to say.

"We just found Lunn Delaney off County 18. Beaten to death."

When the words left Hale's mouth it took a moment for it to set in for everyone. Nobody had seen this coming.

Nobody.

[Name]'s soft gasp was the only sound that was heard in the dead silent room as a hand came up to her lips to keep from anything else coming from her mouth.

"There are no other details right now. I'm sorry."

Hale said glancing to [Name] one last time before he turned slowly and left the house, closing the door behind him.

Everyone was in shock. What the hell had happened? And then Clay turned to Jax ever so slowly and looked down at him as he leaned up against the chair to the table.

Clay's eyes were covered by his sunglasses still, but he glared at Jax none the less as he leaned over and whispered in a dead voice.

"Did you cause this?"

Jax removed his hands from the chair and stood straight up, looking at Clay.

"What are you talking about?"

"The payback on Caracara."

Clay's voice was but a whisper. Opei realised his hold on [Name]'s shoulder.

"This is on me, Clay."

Opei spoke up, trying to keep the fight that everyone knew was going to happen from happening.

"Me too."

Bobby spoke up.

"What did you idiots do?"

Tig asked, turning toward Bobby.

"I'm not talking to you!"

Bobby scoffed.

Tig was about ready to step forward when without thinking [Name] wrapped her arm around Tig's and held onto him. He looked down at her confused for a moment until he seen the pleading look that she gave him.

Her eyes were wider than ever and her hold on him was tighter than he would have thought she could do. She just looked up at him, pleading for him to not fight.

He bit the inside of his jaw as he looked at her. He wished she wasn't here for this, she didn't need to see or hear any of this now.

"Asshole."

Bobby added. Tig snapped. His eyes turned away from [Name] and out of pure anger -- and with her still wrapped around his arm -- he launched out to grab Bobby.

"No! No! No! Stop it! Stop it!!"

She shouted as she was once again being jerked around by Tig. Opei grabbed Tig along with Happy and Half-Sac, but even with the four of them holding back Tig and Bobby it was tough.

The guys were all yelling at each other, but nothing actually stuck with her in what they were saying.

"Please, Tig! Please stop!"

[Name] cried out as she nearly fell to the ground from being tossed around like a doll. Finally she couldn't hold on anymore and was thrown to the ground into the potted plant that was to her side.

She yelped as she fell to the floor, her shoulder hitting the pot as she fell atop the whole plant. She winced in pain and heard Opei yelled out as [Name] hit the floor.

He had tried to catch her but he wasn't fast enough in doing so. Everyone stopped fighting the moment she had hit the floor.

"Do you see what you're doing to this Club!? Do you see!?"

Clay shouted as he pointed toward the brothers and [Name] who was struggling to get up off the floor. Her shoulder hurt like a bitch, but that was no suprise.

Tig looked down at her, shocked that she had actually fallen. He had basically shoved her to the ground and hurt her.

Opei leaned down and went to help her up, but she shoved his hands away while listening to Clay and Jax arguing more.

"You're as blind as you are cripple!"

Jax said. Clay stepped forward and flung his hands around.

"No the blind guys in jail, with no wife, because you just got her killed!!"

Jax grabbed hold of Clay by the front of the cut and pushed him back and screamed in his face.

"I'm not the one murdering women!!"

Clay launched forward as Jax did and they grabbed each other ready to fight again. [Name] was up off the floor and holding her shoulder as the two went at it.

There was a loud crash at the table that caused all the guys to stop as Gemma screamed out, breaking the plate of food she had been holding all over the table.

She looked between Clay and Jax. Both men looked at her ashamed before hanging their head.

The fight was over -- for now.
