Blow Me Away

She sat there in the waiting room for someone to let out the guys. The station wasn't really all that busy, but it was just busy enough for her to go unnoticed by the police, well all accept for one.

"What are you doing here?"

His voice called out to her. She looked up at the man in question before a small smile came to her tired lips.

"Hello officer Hale."

She said, doing her best to be polite as possible considering everything that had happened today. Hale looked at her with his hands on his belt as he walked over closer to her.

"Are you waiting on the Sons?"

He asked. She sighed and gave a slow nod as she looked away. Hale didn't do much else beside stand there and continue to give her a questionable look.

"You know," he started. "For someone who was wanting to stop that fight, you don't seem like the type to be hanging around the Sons."

She gave a shrug of her shoulders and looked back up at him with her head tilted slightly.

"What can I say, I'm a sucker for bikes but when it comes to fights I just don't really get it. Why do men have to always use their fists instead of their brains?"

Hale couldn't help but snort. She was definitely different from the other women he knew that was associated with the Sons. She seemed to be extremely bright, brighter than most women by far that had anything to do with the Sons. So he had found himself in question as to why she was here in the first place.

"It would seem to me that you'd rather not be associated with men like the ones I've got in the back room."

"Yeah, well, a little hard to not be associated with them when you're related to their Prez."

She laughed. Hale found a smile coming to his lips. She had a good sense of humor, bright, funny -- he hated seeing her with the biker gang.

"Well, I'm getting ready to let them out. Hang tight and I'll be back."

She nodded and continued to sit there and wait. A few minutes passed and out walked Zobelle and his men.

"Well, I wasn't expecting to see you here waiting."

Zobelle said a smile on his face as he looked down at her. She continued to sit there on the bench. She blinked looking up at him.

"I can't help but notice your clothes. Do you work at the Teller-Morrow garage? Working on cars your job?"

He asked a smirk coming to his lips. She raised her brow as she looked up at him.

True she had left TM in a hurry to go out and get what she needed from the store so she hadn't changed before she left -- but his questions were just starting to become strange to her.

"Yeah, it's part of my job."

She said, wondering where the hell this conversation was going. Zobelle just nodded his head and smiled.

"Well, I hope you have a bang of a day."

And with that said the group walked away. She raised a brow as she watched them leave.

"What the hell did he want?"

Tig asked walking over to [Name] on the bench. She stood up and looked at the doors where they went.

"I dunno. He was asking weird questions."

She said about the time Opei walked over.

"What type of weird questions?"

Opei asked, hearing the last part of the conversation. She sighed and crossed her arms over her chest looking between the two of them.

"Asking me if I worked on cars at the TM. I dunno, I just found it weird."

Opei put his hands in his pockets while Tig wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

"I wouldn't worry much about that creep, [Name]. He's gotta get past me first."

Tig said, pointing to his chest. She couldn't help but smile. Tig pulled her along as they started walking outside and stepped outfront.

They stood outside for a while and waited for Clay and Jax. All the while Tig still had his arm wrapped around her shoulder as they stood in the shade against the building.

Opei watched them behind his sunglasses. He noticed just how comfortable [Name] was around Tig. And although that worried Opei slightly, he didn't really say anything to the two of them and allowed them to be as they were.

They only had to wait a few minutes for Clay and Jax to come out the front doors and it was then Tig's arm fell from her shoulder.

"I want you back at TM now."

Clay said walking up to her and pointing at her in a bossy manner. She frowned, knowing that she had stepped on some toes showing up at the brawl that broke out in the middle of the street.

Her shoulders slouched as she nodded in defeat before turning on her heels and walking back down the steps toward her bike.

She hadn't been at the TM for long when the boys returned. She had been shadowing Chibs as he walked around the compound.

"Ight lass, where's tha' paperwork?"

He asked coming up and looking over her shoulder. They had gotten a tow earlier today while everybody was out and since they just now got back, Chibs and her were going to take care of it.

She could feel his breath on the side of her neck as he looked over her shoulder at the paperwork -- except he wasn't really looking at the paperwork and more of her neck.

She flipped through the clipboard till she came across the vehicle.

"Here it is, green van."

She said as she handed off the clipboard to Chibs and he looked over it.

"Aye, said when they picked it up wouldn't start."

"Looks that way."

She said as the tow truck backed up and put the van down.

"Come here and let's see what's going on."

Chibs said motioning for her to follow behind him across the parking lot. When they reached the van, Chibs opened the door and climbed inside.

"Keys?"

He asked her. She held out her hand as she stood next to the open driver side door of the van. Chibs put the key and held the break down as he tried to start it, but it didn't turn over.

Then there was a faintly loud long hissing screeching noise. She had no idea what the hell the noise was and Chibs took a moment to listen before his face paled and he looked up to her startled.

"Get out of the way!!"

Chibs screamed as he grabbed hold of her arms and pulled her away. She thought he was going to rip her arms out of her socket as he pulled her close to him.

They managed to get about four foot from the van and suddenly her feet were no longer on the ground as they flew through the air.

She closed her eyes and screamed as Chibs wrapped his arms around her waist and heat hit her back.

Next thing she knew she was eating pavement and fading in and out. She groaned as a loud roar behind them quieted down.

Distorted voices could be heard, but she couldn't make out what was being said. She rolled over and felt something warm and wet on the side of her head. As she rolled more, she felt something underneath her body.

Cracking open an eye she reached out for whatever it was laying next to her. Opening her eyes more and with a waving vision she could just make out a body next to her.

Her head sticky from the pooling red liquid that came from it.

"[Name], baby, sweetheart!!"

It sounded like Gemma. But she couldn't take her eyes from the body next to her. She felt her eyes watering and her lower lip quivering.

"Ch-Chibs?"

Her voice was horse as panic set in finally realising whose body it was next to her.

Tara was over top of Chibs listening for a heart beat.

[Name] reached out a hand as she tried to touch his face, her hand trailing over one of his scars.

"Chiiibs!!"

She screamed out. Tara's eyes widened as she looked to the woman who tried to move toward Chibs.

"Someone grab her!"

Tara demanded. Arms wrapped around her body and started to pull her away.

"No, no, no! Chibs! Chiiibs!!"

She screamed and tried to fight against Tig who had her back against his chest.

"Babe! Babe calm down!"

Tig said as he hosted her up in the air while dragging her back. She tossed her arms about trying to get loose. The panic over took her body seeing Chibs laying there bleeding out.

She needed to check on him, but with Tig pulling her away and her struggling she suddenly felt light headed.

And before she knew it, she felt herself falling and then darkness.
