The Awakening of the Beast

1st Person POV Chifuyu

We were both forced into a car, where they placed Quirk-canceling cuffs on us before they began to drive us off.

"Did anyone saw you?" The guy in the passenger seat questioned the driver.

"Nah," the driver dismissed. "People are too worried about what's going on with the current drama with the heroes so I doubt anyone will come looking..."

"To think we get two powerhouses in one place...! Ooh I hope we get a promotion for this!"

Oh honey. You have no idea what can of worms you are about to open...

"So what's the plan, boss?" Dachsbun asked, her and the others quaking with rage as they wanted to summon themselves and kill our kidnappers.

"At ease, all of you," I calmly responded mentally, noticing how Kokoro was eyeing me as she was no doubt listening to the internal conversation. "Let's see where this goes... worse case scenario I'll call on the Big Guns..."

I almost could feel the nervousness coming off of Fleur De Lis, and that's a rare thing even for the Pyroar.

"You mean..."

"Yes, dear Fleur... after all, Yveltal has been seeking a challenge as of late..."

A murmur of agreement was heard from said Dark/Flying-type Legendary. Along with a few other members of his caliber....

I sighed to myself; this was gonna be a bloodbath. I saw Kokoro look at me from the corner of my eye; while she did not look too worried, she still looked pensive, as she more than likely heard the others in my head.

I stared down at my Red Chain, remembering the day Cogita helped me unlock my full Aura and abilities just before I took on Team Plasma and Ghetsis.

Flashback time....

Cogita and I have sat down in a rented spot out in Malie City, as things have gone topsy turvy over at Aether Paradise with Team Rainbow Rocket invading.

I placed my sheathed katana next to the door before I walked over and sat lotus style in front of her, where she copied my movements.

"I should warn you, lost one," she began, "this may hurt a bit..." She began lighting some candles for the ritual.

I gave her a level look. "I think you and I both know that a little pain had never stopped me. So why would it now." My words had no bite nor arrogance, just plain and simple fact.

She sighed, a somewhat melancholy look entering her silver eyes. "I know, it just felt like courtesy that you should get a fair warning. Now are you sure you wanna do this?"

I nodded. "Yes. We may have been lucky the last few regions but I'm not taking any chances this time."

Sakaki who was sleeping near the hearth up until now was watching the interaction with interest. He then decided to speak up.

"What makes this different from what I and Cy-, erm, Akagi have done? Not to mention Lys-, ahem, Fleur De Lis." He questioned. His tone was not accusing but it was rather curious.

"Exactly what I like to know as well." Akagi, who had been sitting alone up in the rafters until now also chimed in emotionlessly. Fleur De Lis was also staring at me, his calm eyes burning with curiosity.

I gave the dark-colored Persian, shiny Pyroar, and blue-feathered Weavile a level look. "Because all three of you, despite the crap you two have done, had a couple of people plead your case."

Sakaki gave me a raised eyebrow. "Is that so? A simple request?" Even Akagi looked a bit doubtful of my words. Fleur just frowned, almost as if he could tell I was lying, if only a little...

I just stared at him; while it may be true in Sakaki's case, Akagi was... a different case altogether. A better way of wording this if I were to be completely honest would be that I had a moment of weakness. As for Fleur... I rather not talk about it.

But I won't go into that....

I turned back to Cogita without offering another word to either of them.

"Let's get started." I said simply, not wanting to waste any more time.

She nodded. "Give me your hands, young one."

I held them out to her letting her take them into hers.

"Let us proceed." She took a deep breath before beginning the chant.

"By the Flaming Truths, Vast and White, and the Shocking Ideals, Deep and Black, I Pray for Balance and Boundary..."

"From the Ocean of Space as Pure as Pearls, and the Structure of Time as Solid as Diamonds, I Plea for No Chaos and it's Platinum Luster..."

"By the Blazing Sun and the Ghostly Moon, Let Light Shine Through Both..."

"By the Harmony of Fire, Ice, and Lightning, Let the Soul Shine as Bright as Silver. Through Courage, Strength, and Wisdom, Let the Heart Burn with Golden Passion."

"Through Life and Death, Bring Order! From the Sky, Cease the Sun and Rain!" Her voice became stronger, deeper almost. "I say this in the name of the Original One, RELEASE THE HOLD THAT BINDS HER!!!!"

A big wave of, well, everything, both painful and new, crashed over me, like a monsoon wave, nearly making me fall onto my side from the overwhelming sensations.

The markings from Little Warhorn were aglow, burning like a branding iron was touching my skin. The feeling in my eyes have gone past the highest number on the pain scale, blood leaking out from the tear ducts. I was panting hard, but still holding strong. The voices of my Pokemon have faded into white noise, even as I could tell they have become more frantic as my pain increased throughout the whole thing. Even Akagi and Sakaki looked worried, even as Fleur stood up and looked ready to rush to my side.

There was a resounding click, like an old lock had finally given away as the key was inserted into it, crumbling into nothing as everything was now unlocked.

As soon as it was, I fell over, Fleur rushing over to catch me before I hit the floor.

Cogita was still upright but it seemed to be that was from great effort on her end.

"Took more out of me than I thought it would," she gave a slightly breathless laugh. "I must be getting old..."

I shot her a dry look as Fleur helped me sit back up. "Makes me wonder if you are ever gonna get any kids...."

She gave me a sly look. "I think that's already covered..."

I merely rolled her eyes at her cryptic yet seemingly smart-ass remark. More than on one occassion I have said that to her, and she always gave me that remark. And she wasn't talking about Cynthia as it turns out when I tried to ask what she meant by it...

What it actually means, I don't know. She keeps laughing that mysterious laugh every time I try to get it out of her.

"So," Sakaki piped up. "Do you... feel different?"

"Are you hurt?" Fleur's tone was more concerned.

"Nothing that I haven't been hit with before..." I responded to both of them.

"You certainly look different..." Akagi commented.

I shot him a dry look. "Gee thanks, asshole."

"He's not wrong," Sakaki said. "Go look in a mirror."

I huffed, thinking both of them are just messing with me, but Cogita handed me a small hand mirror.

Cracking it open, I saw that they were actually serious. My tatoos from Little Warhorn were now permanent. While my eyes remain the same red, the pupils now hold the Celestica symbols, replacing the A, B, X, Y symbols that were once there. My sclera once red and black faded back to normal once the pain in my body died down.

Rather than feel self-conscious about my markings, I actually felt... confident. Proud even.

"Besides," I thought to myself, "Izuru-kun had easily accepted them along with me, so why should I be worried?" Those thoughts emboldened me, making me sit up straighter.

"Chifuyu?" Fleur voiced.

"I'm fine," I patted his muzzle. "Thank you, Fleur."

Cogita helped me sit up. "Are you feeling okay?"

I shook myself. "Yeah... I think so... A bit dizzy and thirsty I'll admit..."

Cogita handed me my canteen of water, letting me drink from it.

"Slowly now," she cautioned as I was almost chugging it. "You don't want to make yourself sick especially after all that."

Slowing down as she said, I finally pulled the flask away when it was nearly empty.

Putting it down I gave her a level look. "So, when do we go off to the battle field."

The others either groaned or faceplamed while Cogita raised an eyebrow at me.

Flashback end...

I looked down at my Red Chain as I finished reminiscing. It acts as both a power-up and a limiter to my abilities, meaning that it can give me a boost or it can curb some of my power so to avoid collateral damage.

We then noticed we were entering a city; I tense, knowing this will only end badly, for them that is.

We pulled up to a tower in the center of some plaza looking place.

We were roughly pulled out of the vehicle, Kokoro hissing slightly in pain when one of them gripped her arm too tightly.

"Marshadow, Meowzie," I thought with narrowed eyes, "be ready to play Shadow Assassin when I give the word... I have a feeling that playing nice is no longer an option here."

Getting a nod from both the Ghost/Fighting-type and my Contest star, we let ourselves be dragged into the building.

"Let's move," the driver said gruffly, "Re-Destro is a busy man so let's not waste time." I merely glared at him, wanting to bury a sharp object into his jugular but a shake of Kokoro's head held me back from acting out needlessly.

So after some needless dragging us around, we arrived at a door and we were pushed into the room when it opened. Kokoro nearly fell to the floor had I not quickly caught her with my body.

"Ah, so it is true that they found the both of you."

Looking up to see the owner of the voice, I wanted to leap across the room to kill him on the spot but I held back.

A tall man with red brownish hair and a long nose sat behind a large ornate desk.

"I hope the trip here wasn't too uncomfortable," he continued seemingly unaware of my bloodlust.

"Cut the crap and get to the point, needle-nose," I was in no mood for formalities. "What the hell do you want from us?"

I saw him beginning to look angry before he composed himself.

"I see someone is eager." He said with a tight smile. "But allow me to introduce you, Chifuyu Nanami, the one who can summon a monster army, and Kokoro Mitsume, the one who wields four strong Quirks," he gestures to two, no three I relaize with shock, other girls who were also wearing bindings.

"Machi Komacine, the girl with impenetratable wires,"

"Ritsu Forger and her little sister, one who can become an army of beasts and/or summon them at will, the other a telepath."

The little girl was not only tied up but also gagged, and judging from the worried looks from the other pinkette who was wearing an odd bracelet with red, green, blue and violet colors, she must be used as a bargaining chip for her to "behave." While the other pinkette with a pincushion on her wrist looked half ready to jump across the place and kill him herself, but she seemed to be holding back. The pink beast sat next to the one named Ritsu, though he seemed to have a muzzle and chains slapped onto him, hindering his movements.

"I want to formally want you all to be part of my organization, where Quirks should not be put down, but be celebrated!" He lifted his hands like a deranged cult leader making a sermon to the crowd.

"In other words," I thought crossly while giving the go-ahead to Meowzie and Marshadow to start slaughtering everyone in the building that isn't a hostage, "he wants to cause a change and one that does not benefit anyone except him, and with me involved that means I can't have the life I desire..."

"Permission to go Unbound, Chifuyu-khan?" Hoopa asked in an uncharacteristically serious voice.

"Until after this fool and his lackeys are put down like the rabid animals they are turning out to be," I assented, barely noting Kokoro's eyes widening at my bloodthirsty thoughts as the others in the mind link shared my sentiments. I did not notice the pink-haired "seamstress" watching me with interest.

"So what do you girls say?" Re-Destro asked.

Ritsu, holding the small girl to her, looked to him nervously. "But I can only turn into one of my summons at a time, and I got a time limit with each of them. What use would I be to you? And my sister hasn't done anything so why drag her into this?! And why did you hurt Vivijey?! He wasn't doing anything!"

The bastard son of Lex Luthor and the Joker waved a dismissive hand. "Pah! Nothing like some training won't fix. And that beast couldn't be trusted not to try and bite my associates. We can make you all unstoppable forces and perhaps in the future, we can find you suitable consorts with powerful Quirks to sire more powerful offspring."

"How about no?" Machi sneered at him.

"Make that a hell no for me," I thought in agreement as looks of disgust appeared on everyone's faces.

"Okay I had enough of this," I stated not wanting to hear any more filth come out of his mouth. I snapped the cuffs off before I flicked a finger at the others, their own bindings crumbling away as a result. "And here I thought this was gonna be interesting. But turns out you are just another deluded fool like the others."

"What do you think you are doing?" He demanded as I beckoned the others to get behind me.

"We're leaving, stupid," I saw him gain a bulging vein in his forehead. "I already have to deal with another delusional fool so I am not up for another." I turned to the others. "C'mon let's go."

We began to head for the door, the pink beast lumbering behind us as well.

"You go through that door, and your aunt and her family will be killed by my soldiers!"

I turned to give him a cold look as a ring portal opened up above us and dropping several decapitated bodies right on his office floor. "You mean those soldiers?" I gave a chilling smile. "Sorry to break it to you, needle-nose, but they suck at stealth. So they have paid the price for their foolhardiness."

He had abandoned his polite facade as he stormed up to me with wrath. "You won't be able to leave this city alive! I have many soldiers and followers ready to die for my cause! You don't know true power!"

"'True power', he says?" A fiendish smile crossed my lips as I mentally gave Hoopa instructions to unleash Heatran into the underground sewer and wait for further instructions while also summon several rings for some other legendaries to come forth.

"You call that real power?" I spoke in a dark tone as the Celestica symbols in my eyes began to make my eyes burn a bit with my anger. The Red Chain began to glow as it only amplified my emotions.

My eyes took a fiery look, making the so-called leader flinch. The markings from Little Warhorn were also glowing. My sclera changed to red

Little did I notice that the marks on my face that usually appear while I'm in a Palace also appeared, seeming to sear themselves permanently into my face, giving me a deadly ethereal look.

"W-what is this?!" Re-Destro cried out in shock.

"How about I show you a taste of real power..." I grinned viciously at him, enjoying the sight of him sweating in fear.

"Namu Myōhō Renge Kyō."

With those words spoken, the roof was torn completely off, revealing Arceus alongside Hoopa in his Unbound forme, summoning several rings where Giratina, Groudon, Kyogre, and Yveltal were seen, their own eyes aglow in an angry red.

If Arceus had a mouth, I'm sure they would have the unholiest of smirks on their face. By this point, Re-Destro looked he was about to shit himself.

"Ah how nice of you to oblige me," Arceus boomed, "After all, what sort of god would I be if I didn't partake in a few hundred sacrifices made?"

Thus begin the bloodbath....

Also, thank you PangoroGrunt for permission to use the chant you used in your book "RWBY: The Giant's Little Rose, and a big thank you to KaoTamashi for the fanart of Chifuyu! I'll be using that image as both a cover for this chapter and for the Yakuza arc! Also, yuki_no_fuyu, I love you a lot! Just saying! Also Octana-00 thanks for the inspiration for the chapter, even though mine is considerably shorter....

Also Vivijey is property of Juno's Monstrosity Vocaloid series so I do not own him, nor do I own Machi, Ritsu, nor Anya.

Alright just a bit more filler then we shall jump right into the yakuza arc!
