Back in Meguro, Ryo laid on Yuki's couch, staring at the ceiling. He was relieved that Ai and her girlfriend were going to be fine. On the other hand, what the hell did attack them? 

"Hey, Yuki?" Ryo called out.

"Yeah, what is it?" Yuki called back.

"Was Ai reading any books lately?"

"I don't see why she wouldn't," Yuki answered back. "I'll text her if you'd like."

"That would be great," Ryo said.

It did not take long for Ai to reply that she was reading A History of Yōkai. 

"Wait a minute, I remember that book! It's the same one she read when I was having those nightmares. Who knows where we'd be without it?" Ryo said.

"Well, the only problem with that is, it's at her house," answered Yuki. "And that house is closed off for investigation."

"Shit. Well, maybe a bookstore has it?"

"Let's hope so. Otherwise, I don't know what we'll do. This isn't like your case, where the monster was in your mind. Now, it's in the real world, watching, waiting, wondering where to strike next."
