Yuki looked over and saw what Ryo did. He then pulled the knife out and gave it to her.

"You know, I can't help but feel bad for you. You have spent all these years in torment. But you did try and kill us, so... consider yourself lucky right now."

She raised the knife to stab the body, but Akiko came to her senses and bit Yuki on the upper arm. This caused Yuki to drop the knife.

"Do you really think you can stop me?!" Akiko shouted. "YOU ARE SO FUCKED RIGHT NOW!"

Suddenly, the front door creaked open. Akiko, Yuki, and Ryo turned around to see what did it and were shocked by who appeared. 

It was Kanae, Jōji, the deliveryman, and Junko, now spirits themselves.

"How... how is this possible?" Akiko stammered.

"Let's just say we have some unfinished business to take care of," Jōji replied.

With those words, the four rushed toward the nukekubi and grabbed her head. 

"Let me go! LET ME GO!" Akiko screamed. 

This gave Yuki the opportunity to pick up the knife, this time with her left hand. Without hesitation, she stabbed into Akiko's body's chest. And again. And again. Yuki kept going until she reached a total of 19 stabs. The white kimono Akiko wore was now completely red. Yuki was nearly all in red, too.

The nukekubi's head began emitting a white mist, and the corpse followed soon after. In a matter of seconds, two columns of mist rose into the air and flew out of the front door into the starry sky. The four remaining ghosts looked at Yuki and Ryo.

"Thank you. Both of you," Jōji said. "Now, it is time for us to go, too." One by one, they left the house.

Yuki and Ryo stood in silence for a minute before Ryo spoke up. "What she said about your parents... was that all true?"

"It looks like it. However, my parents have been on good terms for years now. What caused them to separate is now in the past." 

Ryo looked at Yuki and said, "Hopefully it stays that way."
