CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!

THANK YOU JAMES GUNN FOR MAKING A GOOD MARVEL MOVIE. Holy shit, that took too long (since wakanda forever). I am happy to say I loved gotg 3. From the opening scene I knew it was gonna be amazing. The characterizations and humour were perfect (as always) and I loved the focus on Rocket because he is the best guardian we all know this. 

This movie was a huge gut punch for me, I felt like I was crying every time it flashed back to young Rocket. I'm a GIGANTIC advocate against animal cruelty, specifically animal testing and this movie really felt like a PSA. Though it was more extreme in its portrayal, given the cybernetic enhancements, animals every day are put through dangerous and live threatening testing just so greedy humans can have makeup or skincare or shampoo. It's disgusting. I hope because of the humanized animals more people will see the connection to real-life animal cruelty. 

My second point, I honestly love what Gunn did with Gamora and Peter because it would honestly be bad writing if he got them back together in one movie since she IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PERSON. So I better not hear people complain. It was a very honest portrayal of grief on Peter's end since the person he loved is basically dead, but still her body is up and walking around. 

AND ADAM WARLOCK. Ik some diehard comicbook bros will be mad cause Adam is literally one of the most powerful entities in Marvel but I kinda love how Will Poulter portrayed him as a kid with this emense power. He literally was not in the womb long enough, he's medium rare, not well done. It's fucking funny. But he gave some real heart, cause Adam is basically a kid that wants to impress his mom. I especially liked when Quill was stuck in space and they literally shot the 'creation of Adam' painting I LOVE SYMBOLISM.

And Rocket only asking for Nebula when he woke up and calling her NEBS cause they were the only two guardians that did dust SOBBING.

But speaking of Nebula, she was my one gripe with this movie. But only in the time they were in that weird flesh place with Nathan Fillion. It seemed like in that one section she was written by someone else entirely, especially the scene (shown in traliers) where she tells Quill to knock it off idk it felt weird. 

Honestly though, this has been my favourite MCU movie since wakanda forever. It's nice to know Marvel can still make decent movies.
