Clove woke up to arguing. She couldn't make out the figures considering her vision was slightly blurred but she could feel her head in someone's lap and her feet in another's.

"You need to figure out what wrong and fix it! I cant lose Clove! I cant!" Max yelled as she pointed a finger at Mike

"You don't think i'm worried? It's been over two hours and she hasn't woken up! I've been in Cloves life a lot longer then you have!" Mike yelled at her

"Oh yeah? Well at least i'm not holding things over her head! Some best friend you are" Max scoffed

"Guys, she's waking up" Will said as he looked over at Clove

"Clove? Hey" Lucas said as she looked up at him before squeezing her eyes shut again

"Hey, you feel okay?" Max asked while kneeling down next to her

"M-" she got out before groaning

"Is it your head?" El asked as Clove went to sit up but groaning and falling back down onto Lucas lap while grabbing her abdomen

"Sorry kiddo, had to get that thing out of you though" Jonathan said with a frown as Clove looked at the long scar from her rib to her belly button

"thank you" she got out while looking to Max and grabbing her hand

"Mike" she said as he kneeled down

"Yeah, i'm here too" he said as she softly smiled

"It's okay" she said while staring at him

"What?" he asked her confused

"I heard you" she said as he smiled softly

"Is everyone okay?" she asked while Will, Lucas, and Max helped her sit up more as she pulled the yellow jumper closer to her body

"Yes, are you?" El asked as she stared at her

"Yeah I think so" she nodded while offering the taller girl a smile

"Do you guys hear that?" Nancy asked while walking toward the window

"It's just the fireworks" Jonathan said even though he didn't sound so sure

"Billy. When he told you all that, was it here in this room?" Nancy asked while looking toward El

"Told her what?" Clove asked confused

"We'll explain soon" Max told her with a small smile

"The flayed was also connected to Clove.." Nancy trailed off after El nodded. Mike stood up and looked around

"He knows we're here" Will said while touching his neck. Clove gave a confused look as she didn't feel it anymore before she was being drug out the house with the others to see the large flayed monster knocking over trees and coming toward them

"You've got to be f-" Clove began but was cut off by the monster letting out a loud yell as they all rushed inside and tried to cover all the windows

"You shouldn't be heavy lifting" Max said to Clove

"You can worry about me later, gotta protect you right now" Clove said to her while hitting the nail into the board

"Get away from the windows" Nancy said as they all baked away while she held up a large shot gun

"Wow Nanc, that's badass" Clove said to her as Max pulled her closer as while they all looked around the room, waiting for the creature to attack

"It's close" Will said as the lamps and plates started to move

"Where'd it go?" Max asked after a cup fell off the wall

"Couldn't have gone far" Clove stated while grabbing the redheads and El's hand. The creature suddenly came through the wall and straight for El as Clove pushed her behind her before Jonathan hit it with his axe as it through his across the room and started to come toward him before Nancy shot it over and over until she ran out of bullets

"Nancy!" Clove yelled while she grabbed the sharp object from the fireplace and stabbed it. The flayed squealed as it started to go toward Clove before its body started to shake. El was using her powers to pull it away from her as Clove breathed heavy as she ran back toward Max. She pulled it head off while it's body flew past the two girlfriends and out the spot it broke through at

"Holy shit" Max said before it flung in again, though this time there was two. Eleven held up both her hands to stop it as Clove began to looked around while El yanking her arms down as she pulled the twos head off. El was taking deep breaths before the creature came through the ceiling and grabbed her leg

"El!" Clove yelled as they all ran over and grabbed ahold of the girl

"Nancy shot it!" Jonathan yelled while they all held onto El, making sure she didn't get taken away as the girl screamed. Nancy shot at it multiple times before Lucas grabbed the axe as it dropped El, apart of the gross looking creature feel with her

"El? El are you okay?" Mike asked her while scanning her face

"It's still on her foot" Clove said as Mike grabbed it and yanked it away, causing El to scream loudly

"Jesus christ Mike!" El yelled while slapping his arm and going to El's side to comfort her. The large creature with rows and rows of teeth screeched loudly down at them as El stood up shakingly and let out a battle cry, using her powers to rip the thing in half before falling backwards into Clove and Max's arms.

"Go! Go! Go!" Nancy yelled as they all ran out the house toward the car while getting in, piling together

"Drive!" Mike yelled while holding his girlfriend close to him. They drove toward a nearby store while Nancy grabbed everything they would need to doctor El's foot

"Clove? What are you doing?" Will asked as he watched her grab a bottle of Cherry Wine off the rake and open it with a nearby cork screw

"Is she gonna-" Lucas began but was cut off by seeing Clove turn the bottle upside down and chug some

"She is" Max nodded

"Okay get her down" Nancy said while Clove put the half way full bottle back on the shelf and kneeling beside El

"Shit" Max said while seeing the hole in El's leg dripping blood

"Wow hey, what are you doing?" Max asked while stopping Nancy

"I'm cleaning the wound" the brunette said

"No first we need to stop the bleeding, then clean, then disinfect, then bandage" Max said as they all gave her a look

"I skateboard trust me" she rolled her eyes

"Mike hold this" Max said while passing him something as El wrapped her hand around Cloves, catching the girl's attention while looking down at her. El made eye contact with Clove and she could clearly see the pain in her eyes

"It's gonna be okay El, it's gonna be okay" Clove reassured her while leaning in more so El could lean onto her instead of the cold shelves

"Keep the pressure on it, nice and firm okay?" Max asked Mike while holding down a cotton pad

"We're gonna need water and soap" Max said to Nancy and Jonathan as they nodded and walked off while Lucas emptyed his backpack on the ground

"Does any of this help?" He asked as Clove smiled softly at his tone

"No, go get me a wash cloth and a bowl" Max demanded

"Thanks anyway Lucas" Clove offered him a smile

"A bowl?" Lucas asked confused

"Lucas" Max glared while Will hit his arm

"O-okay" he said while the two ran off

"Clove could you maybe grab some rubbing alcohol and the big bandages?" Max asked as Clove nodded before El slowly leaned off of her

While Clove was searching the isle she heard footsteps behind her. Turnings she smiled when she saw Max walking toward her

"Sorry to disturb your work Dr.Mayfield" Clove teased as Max laughed

"More like distract, can't help that you're so beautiful" Max said as  Clove blushed while wrapping her arms around her neck

"You feel okay? You took quiet the brutal experience a few hours ago" Max said as Clove nodded

"I'm a Warrior, believe me i've felt worse. Just a bit sore" Clove reassured her as Max tightened her grip on Cloves waist

"Hey, I um... I heard everything while I was legally dead. I don't know how but I could hear everything that went on" Clove said while clearing her throat

"So you heard Mikes cheesy apologies?" Max asked as Clove nodded

"Yeah but I heard more stuff too" she nodded while Max gave a confused look before Clove leaned over and kissed her passionately while letting their lips linger for a moment

"You said you love me.. at least I hope you were talking about me" Clove said as Max smiled

"I was" She nodded while Clove blushed

"I love you too"

god they are so cute, i can't believe i'm almost done with s3. I kinda wanna make a lucas sinclair book but idk i haven't figured it out yet. But enjoy this soft girlfriends chapter :)
